I recommend! The service was prompt and efficient. The young lady who took my order was willing to explain the topping on my burger and clear with pricing for the burger. Which was $17USD, pretty pricey but was worth it. Made fresh to order and was a large burger. I wanted to add fries but that would have brought my total to $30USD not budget friendly for me. It was everything I needed to soak up all the tequila from last night. They have a seating area and waiters to take your area and overall everything was clean neat and orderly! I haven't been to a Johnny Rockets since I was a little girl in Jersey, it brought back some great memories.

I'm at the airport waiting to board my flight home, so naturally I stopped by the food court. A gentleman at a table neat me had a delicious-looking burger with melted cheese and an onion ring. It looked so good that I decided I wanted to try it. I didn't see his burger option on the menu (sadly), so I opted for a different burger and some onion rings. When it was time to cash out, the bill was $26!!!!! Hard pass!!!!! So, I opted for only the onion rings. And those were still $11 on their own!!!!! There was nothing fancy about the onion rings. The portion size was decent, but the onion rings weren't seasoned and tasted a bit greasy, even though they weren't greasy to the touch. They were crispy, but not that hot. I wish I could say I enjoyed them, but sadly I didn't. I'm upset I wasted the money.

At terminal C at the CANCÚN/CUN International Airport. Close to Wolfgang Puck and Guy Fiere restaurants. Menu is straightforward: burgers, Chicken sandwiches, fries and Onion rings, Shakes and sodas. Atmosphere is like a 50's drive in. Staff is friendly and service well executed. Considering that we are in a busy airport, the did very well. TAKE AWAY 2stars for gouging the public. Our order: Litre of water, single patty cheeseburger with fries, Grilled chicken sandwich, 5-piece chicken fingers. US equivalent was nearly $68!!!!! WTHeck?! (Deduct 2 stars) The quality of the food was good but the buns could not hold up to the assault of mayonnaise ( take off 1/2 star) The service and cleanliness saved them 1/2 star

This place is expensive and the service is slow. The good news is that the food is cooked fresh. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo. It cost $25 and I didn't get that many fries. It did the job and the other restaurants were just as expensive. The food tasted fine. The service was extremely slow.

Johnny Rockets in Mexico was doing well for a while. But my, how times have changed. I stopped by here back in March of 2024, as I was waiting for my flight back home after having spent a week at Xcaret. I ordered a chicken sandwich with the meal. They charged me for two, and I was quick to call them out on it. They offered to refund me half of the cost via cash, and I agreed. The food was ok, but not wort the price that they charge. The value was really not there. The second time I came here, the girlfriend and I were on our way back home from our NYE Cancun excursion. She opted to eat elsewhere, but I went straight for the chicken sandwich meal. The sandwich was rather dry, and they did a terrible job providing sauces. The good was akin to middle school cafeteria food, and that is not a complement. The price does not fit the quality. The next time I find myself at Cancun airport, I will opt to eat elsewhere.

Had a bit of a mixed experience here at the Johnny Rockets in Cancun Airport. While the burger had good flavor to it (with that much grease it had to taste good), the burger meal cost $23.88 usd which I thought was outrageous even for an airport. The fries were not very good, and there was not many of them at all. I figured this would be the fastest and potentially cheapest option in the airport and it still took well over 20 minutes to get the food. Both the people who took the order and gave me the order were friendly, so the customer service was a plus. Not much to say as far as ambiance goes since it was just open tables in the airport. Next time around I'll try margaritaville or something, this wasn't a great experience.

$$ EXPENSIVE $$ Hey! Here is a quick review of our experience at Johnny Rockets, which is located inside terminal 3 of the Cancun Airport. The service was great. We actually got a table and immediately a waiter showed up. He cleaned the table for us and efficiently took our order. He was very attentive despite a large number of tables he was servicing. Burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes were decent. Think old school diner food when eating here. The people behind the counter were also working hard. Unfortunately, they price gouge you like no one I have ever seen before which is why I am giving this spot ONE STAR. I ended up dropping $106+tip on four single burgers, one with onion rings/fries and three with fries and three milk shakes. I don't mind paying extra at places like airports or sports venues but this is beyond extra, especially when you hear other tourists saying how ridiculously expensive this spot is.

This is an OK option at the Cancun airport. It is right next to the Guy Fieri restaurant and looked more inviting, it was well-lit with all employees in crisp clean uniforms. Food was decent. BTW, what's up with the insane prices at the Cancun airport (and outside)!!

Enjoyed lunch at Johnny Rockets in the Cancun International Airport on a very busy Friday in February. However, my bestie and I were able to snag a table instead of waiting in the very long line. I like how the restaurant has their own dinning area, just makes for a better experience. Our server was friendly and kind. He was a little on the slower side, but we understood as it was extremely busy. Food took about 30/45 minutes to come out after ordering, but we expected that due to how crazy it was. Staff handled the busyness extremely well. Food was fresh and yummy. I saw servers cleaning the tables and greeting customers. Great experience. I'll likely try again next time I'm in the airport.

Mediocre food at extortionate price. Captive audience in airport. At least make some effort to provide value for the absurd price.

¡No olvides agradecer y darle propina a tu servidor!

I was starving, hungry, famished and I threw half of it away. I don't know what kind of cheese they used, it was awful and shouldn't ever be used on a Philly cheesesteak. Guy Fieri would happily take going into his grave if he ever had to eat this. Much disappoint. The workers were nice, quick, and helpful, so this is nothing on them. Save yourself and just go to, and I can't believe I'm saying this, Panda Express.

I was looking for decent airport food while waiting for my flight back to the United States from Cancun (after a relaxing stay at the @joiabyiberostar Paraíso). What I found was a surprisingly delicious eatery providing tourists with the final flavors of the Yucatán. The colors and textures of the eatery are intended to remind tourists as much of the warmth and coziness of a hacienda as one can get from a food stall in an airport. Hacienda serves breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner specialties. This is not an eatery to enjoy if your plane is about to board--there was a fifteen-minute wait before the food was ready. I ordered the: Cochinita Tacos (Yucatán-style barbecued pork with pickled red onion) Lime Soup (chicken broth, sofrito, sour lime) Agua de Chaya (leafy perennial shrub native to the peninsula) Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. I am already planning a trip to the area this year. Usually someone who doesn't like to wait long at the airport, I will definitely make time to experience the panuchos, salbutes, and Motuleño-style eggs. It's rare that one is excited to eat airport food.

I ordered the steak chilaquiles, which were tasty, and a kiwi strawberry lemonade that sounded refreshing but was difficult to drink as it had chunks of fruit and they kept clogging the straw. It wasn't sweet or tangy, watery yes. I added sugar and it made it worse haha. We ordered 6 waters that came in bottles, and one came already opened. When we pointed it out, the staff refused to take it back and still charged us for it, which was frustrating. While we waited, one of my friends, whose feet were swollen, briefly propped them up on a metal chair (which had no cushion and she was not wearing her shoes), a few seconds later, a staff member quickly told her to put them down and not in the nicest way. The (other) worst part was the wait for the bill. Despite asking for it with time to spare before some of us had to catch a flight, it took them 32 minutes to bring it (I counted). The restaurant wasn't even busy, yet the service was slow and inattentive throughout. In short: good food, but poor service, inflexible staff, and a lack of urgency, not ideal when dining at an airport in my opinion.
