While the flavor was clean and aromatic, the kitchen used chicken breast rather than the traditional bone-on thigh meat, which made the texture a bit chewy. We also tried the Szechuan Squid. Be aware that this is more of an "American-style" Szechuan dish -- it was sweet and sour rather than spicy and lacked the traditional peppers or numbing heat. However, the texture of the squid was remarkably soft and tender, reminiscent of an Italian-style slow-cooked calamari, which was a pleasant surprise. To round out the meal, the Dry Fried String Beans with Minced Pork (Gan Bian Si Ji Dou) were a solid highlight. As someone who frequently eats at more 'cleaver-heavy' Chinatown spots like Jin Wei, I found Lee How Fook to be a friendly and consistent spot, but the preparations here are definitely tailored to a much milder palate. If you are looking for that specific 'hacked' bone-in dark meat or a fiery Szechuan kick, this might feel a bit safe.

I've been coming to LHF for about the last 40 years, and used to think it was a great restaurant. The menu, or at least the preparation of very familiar dishes, has changed, and I believe that ownership has as well. Our usual family favorites are all on the menu, this is basic stuff. Salt baked shrimp, pan fried noodles, General Tso bean curd (I don't believe I saw my old fav, tofu with Chinese mushrooms on the menu), and snow pea greens. The snow pea greens stole the show, basically. The tofu was cooked in a sort of gelatinous texture, not the chewy texture that I associate with the dish as formerly made. Shrimp & squid were good, nothing outstanding. Service was very good, although on the most recent visit, we were the only eat-in customers. Also note that they have a 3.0+% processing fee on credit cards. But our server made a point of mentioning it before taking the card for processing, so at least they are very upfront about it.

Very happy to have a Hong Kong style Cha Chan Tang restaurant right here in Edison, NJ. While there are a few places in NYC, its nice to see Jersey finally get one too. The stars if today were the appetizer dishes. The rice noodles with the special peanut sauce was 100% the best and exactly what you'd expect when you order that dish. The squid and popcorn chicken were both amazing and fried lightly but with a great crispy texture. The small pineapple bun with butter was delicious. We actually had it as a starter and again for dessert. While we loved the apps, the baked rice with pork chop and pepper steak rice bowls were just ok. They weren't amazingly flavorful, but they were still tasty with heavy portions so the value was there. We had HK style milk tea and topped off our meal with their special creamy french toast. Overall we left overly full and didn't have to pay too much. Wow Cafe is very affordable and the staff is very friendly and fast to cater to your needs. You can't mess up the rice noodles and popcorn chicken, and they didn't. The rice noodles were chewy and flavorful thanks to the sauce. The popcorn chicken was crispy and good flavors as well. The small pineapple butter bun for $1.99 was not worth it for the price. Small and nothing special. The drink I got was just okay... it didn't feel like it had much flavors. Parking was uh questionable since I'm not from the area. It looked like there was some parking in the front but very limited. We end up circling around and found they had parking in the back lot. The inside of the restaurant was well decorated. It had walls with names of some cities in Hong Kong like Central and Mongkok. I found it cute and reminded me of Hong Kong just a little.

As many others have written, there are no standout Chinese and Japanese restaurants in Lower Bucks and NE Philly. We tried the Dim Sum Factory in Horsham a few times years ago, and good meals each time, but over time it had gotten more crowded, parking became a pain, and due to the crowding, it was louder and not a relaxed atmosphere; so we stopped. Didn't realize until last night while searching for a place for dinner that Dim Sum Factory had other locations. As other Yelpers wrote, this Dim Sum Factory on Krewstown Rd was nowhere as busy hence, a quieter more relaxed environment, with ample off-street parking. We came early, arrived at 5 PM and the place was surprisingly empty but shortly after we arrived others came and by the time we left, I'd say 1/2 the tables were occupied; did notice they do a fair amount of takeout. This is a far smaller-sized restaurant and perhaps the larger share of the business is takeout. That said there was only 1 server handling tables as takeout and she was terrific; cool, calm, and friendly. We did not feel as though we waited a long time between dishes as we didn't order everything at once; we like to pace out our meals. This comes with that negative feel of other places that want the full order, and claim to pace but don't; hence feel as though they need to turn the table on a timer. Nuff about this stuff, let's get to the food it was fresh, beautifully plated, and very tasty. We were very much pleased and will be back now that we have found a suitable place. Just a longer drive, hence we drive for our good meals. We opened with the pork soup dumplings, 6 pieces, we long ago learned how to properly enjoy soup dumplings. Made with care and no skimping on meat or broth in the dumpling. Next, we had the HK-style Shumai, 4 pieces, big pieces at that. We prefer smaller more delicate dumplings. These per the photo are large and the meat is more packed, and more solid than we like; nonetheless, it was a good dish, especially with the dumpling sauce, which gave them a sweater flavor. Next, we had the spring roll, 2 pieces, not usually my favorite, is my wife's, but I will say it was not over-fried and not greasy; all pluses in my book. We then shared the chicken with garlic sauce and added eggplant- this was a hit. All the fresh and interesting vegetables, the textures, and the peppers gave it flavor.... the eggplant was a nice addition. The best dish we had this evening. We also had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, not my thing, more my wife's. I picked out the veggies, pork, egg, and the huge clean tasty shrimp. See our photos. Will be back again.

I regrettably went on Valentines with my boyfriend after the Barnes. My food was so bad that my mood was negatively impacted (seriously). Stay away from any of the soups/ramens, the broth is exactly the same flavorless base for every soup. I'd stick with appetizers. I got the worst thing I've ever ordered at a restaurant here: Tom Kha Seafood Soup, it was supposed to be spicy but it was just sweet with no flavor at all. Nothing like any other Asian spicy seafood soups I've had before, lacking any normal amount of seafood (hardly any), and weird uncooked veggies, like huge sliced raw tomato bits. I ate the small amount of seafood out of it and left the rest. It was hardly edible. The scallion pancakes were also the most underwhelming I've ever had. I usually fight for the last piece but me and my boyfriend left half of it uneaten. No flavor or crisp. Seemed frozen and reheated, not fresh. The soup dumplings were the only good thing we ordered and they were just fine, nothing amazing. Additionally, there was a very small amount of them to our order. The Vietnamese beef soup was ok but very below average, nothing good that I'd recommend ordering, same bland broth. I really wanted to like this place and I usually never give out one star reviews, but it was truly bad and the ratings on it are clearly inflated and not reflective of its food quality. Small amounts of bad food for a price you could get much better things elsewhere. I'd rather have gone to Wawa than gone here (and I did after because I was still hungry).

Tasty flavor but I think I should've read fine print. General Tso shrimp was solid! Flavorful and semi spicy. Just a note for you to notice it is spicy but nothing hot or overwhelming. The ramen I was shocked it did not have flavor. I drank the broth just outright but nothing flavorful. Weird, right? I give a 3.5 averaged 4 cause service. Would I return? Maybe... maybe try dim sum but I wouldn't order the wings or ramen again.
