This café is small yet open and airy with high ceilings. At first glance, the menu is typical diner food with comparable prices but a little bit nicer in preparation and presentation. You can add avocado, which is always a big selling point for me. They have various breads and rolls made in house, including a cheesy garlic. I had a chicken sandwich. One son had a hot dog, the other chicken tenders. everything was well made and served promptly. The only thing I didn't like is the sandwiches came with chips made in house instead of fries unless you paid extra, and the chips were kind of bland. Service is great. The space is lovely. Wonderful breakfast spot!! Staff welcomes you with a smile. Quite the extensive menu, and they serve lunch as well! I ordered the Country Fried Steak Breakfast with a side of potato pancakes, which was fantastic! It was served perfectly, and the portion was generous. Prices are very reasonable. Located in front of the Copperleaf Apartments, it's a very cute area. They also offer outdoor seating, weather permitting, which is quite a nice feature. As in their name, they are a bakery as well. A breakfast/brunch/lunch spot near the Copper Leaf Apt complex. I would rate my overall experience as 7/10. Service was amazing, no issues at all! One of the better food spots in Erie! Definitely a unique take on classics like avocado toast as they included Brie in their recipe. I was a huge fan of the breakfast scramble... I got it with a bunch of veggies and no meat. Stopped here for breakfast with my siblings and family. What a lovely place. I liked the name when searching for a breakfast place, so it was high on list for selecting. There were 7 of us which didn't faze the staff at all. As a matter of fact, the hostess said "There's only 7!" when pulling our table together. I had hostess's recommendation, the avocado Toast. Wowza!! It was amazing. I ate the whole thing. My daughter had the Biscuit breakfast with the potato pancakes. It was big a big breakfast and delicious. One of my sisters had the same thing. Two of my sisters have gluten sensitivities and the server, Bethany was happy to answer questions and check with the chef when she didn't know the answer. One has the omelet, the other the breakfast scramble. Both enjoyed their meals. My husband had the classic breakfast with fries. He enjoyed it and was amazed at how big the toast was. My brother in law had the bagel sandwich which he enjoyed. The coffee was good and flowed plentifully. My daughter had an iced chai latte which was very good. Let me start off by saying there was nothing bad about my experience here. As a first time goer, I was just underwhelmed by the food. Service and ambiance of the location was great though! I do have to say their pastries look very good as well. My food however just didn't compete on the level of other breakfast spots in erie. I got the omelette, and it was just okay. I expected way more. The dippy eggs tasted like nothing, I wish they had some seasoning or anything really. Also, I hate when breakfast spots don't butter your bread right out the toaster because by the time I got the toast it was cold and the butter doesn't glide easily onto the bread. I do really like the potato pancakes tho. They were my highlight. Overall, in Erie I think the breakfast place, Avanti's, the Zodiac Diner, etc. have better breakfast for the same/ cheaper price, but this isn't too bad of a spot. This place seems to be way understaffed. When we arrived, we stood around confused for 10 minutes along with the other people. There is no host and you have to put your name on the waitlist where the cashier is. The problem is, there is a huge line for people to pay for their food and people wanting to order stuff from the bakery. I had their steak and eggs. The steak was bland. It had absolutely no flavor. Firstly, I don't understand why there aren't a little more Yelp reviews for this place. They have been here awhile and are always busy. The dining room seems like an afterthought set up in the seemingly spare floorspace on the right. But it is ok, just strange. Menu has a great selection for breakfast as well as lunch items. Definitely a cute cozy place to grab coffee or brunch. It reminded me of a cute mom and pop cafe that you would find next to a beach. I got the macaroni and cheese. I asked if they used albacore tuna, the waitress didn't know but went to find out and yes they do use albacore. My sandwich came and my first bite was- yuck! Apparently, I forgot to ask if they used mayo or salad dressing. It was just gross. I asked the waitress what went into the mixture. She didn't know-it comes in a premixed container! Ugh. Wow! Fair warning: diners beware. We stopped at this establishment for some breakfast sandwiches on our way to Michigan this morning. My daughter has celiac disease and, therefore, MUST eat gluten free bread. While in line waiting for it to be completed, the cook and manager could be overheard discussing confusion about her g/f order. The manager informed the cook, after recognizing the mistake of give her a bun and not g/f bread, "it'll be fine." And passed it along. They decided to bust tables and not make eye contact even though there was an abundance of open tables. Very nice atmosphere and great cupcakes BUT big disagreement on how to make a tuna melt. I ordered a tuna melt and sweet potato fries. Tuna melt comes out with very white, not-very-toasted bread. Cheese was not melted at all (Tuna MELT) and tuna "salad" was ice cold. Told very nice server (first day) that food was not ok. He took it back and returned about 5 minutes later with similar white-ish bread, tuna slightly warmer (still cold), not melted cheese - and what looked like my original fries (now cold). Server said the chef said that's how they make a tuna melt ... sigh. I looked up a half dozen tuna melt recipes online and they all say, golden brown buttered bread, melted cheese and *WARM*. My companion did like her Reuben and fries, as a side-note. Your mileage may vary but I do not recommend the Tuna Melt. Will try again another time with something different. read more

Main street Cakery Café in the Fairview area as well as the bus stop place to eat mom and pop food. They have a gigantic outdoor tent area that is capable of sitting many people and safe distances. Their daily specials range from lasagna to meatloaf made in a homemade style. Breakfast is served early every day except for Sunday. Highly recommend this local cuisine gem. read more

Yum! It's been open two days and I've been here twice. The food is delicious. The pancakes are so worth the carbs. I know this will be a new favorite spot especially when they work out some kinks. Yesterday I bought a dozen cookies and the staff wasn't sure how to package it up. They used a pie box with no label that was too big for the small cookies which wasn't a great presentation. Also they have a side in the restaurant available for sit down ordering and one side for just coffee but they don't make that clear when you walk in. I saw several parties get confused by that policy. I asked one of the eemployees if she knew the guest Wi-Fi password and she just said no. I eventually found out the code (cakery99 as of today, you might see this before finding someone who knows!). Despite these minor hiccups, this is going to be a great spot for Erie. Beautiful decor, fresh clean displays and delicious food. Prices seem so reasonable. This is going to be the kind of place with a long line very soon! Yesterday was my third visit to this restaurant. I have to say I was a little disappointed. I was meeting a friend for lunch, and arrived early. I went inside and stood. At least a half a dozen wait staff passed me while I waited. Not one person greeted me. Eventually, a server I had not seen before walked by and said, just seat your self anywhere. I Found a table and discovered that although the dished had been cleared, the table itself was still dirty. The same server came over and cleaned it up. Once my friend arrived, we ordered. The food came out quickly. I started to eat my avocado toast and found a very long blonde hair imbedded in the egg. The server got the manager. He asked if there was a problem. I said to him would you want this (holding up the hair), in your food? It is not mine. He offered to have the meal re-made, which I agreed to. The second plate was fine, but not as hot as it could have been. When the bill arrived, I fully expected my lunch to be comped or at least discounted, but it was not. A few suggestions: 1. signage at the entrance indicating you can seat yourself. 2. Train staff to greet people waiting at the entrance to make them feel welcome. 3. Hairnets for all kitchen staff that cover all hair. 4. When there is a problem with a customer's meal, at the very least, discount it by 50%. Because I have had positive experiences here in the past, I will return, but will inspect my food before I eat. read more

We walked in and weren't even acknowledged for quite awhile, even as employees were walking right by us. We ordered our food and I had the open faced turkey with obviously canned vegetables and coleslaw that had no taste! The turkey was lunch meat ( at best). It reminded me of eating in a hospital cafeteria. My husband had eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce looked very yellow ( eggy) and runny. His home fries were over cooked dark brown potatoes. ( He said he would rate it lower than 1 star). My sympathies to the one poor waitress who had the whole restaurant to serve by herself! We will not be returning. It was very disappointing.
