In my quest to rate every Tim Hortons during my trip on a visit back home, this is my final Tim Hortons run. On the way out of New York you can stop at the Erie Pennsylvania Tim Hortons. It is a drive-through, but we went in. You will notice that it is also in a gas station. But do not be deterred! It is an excellent example of Tim Hortons finery. The staff was prompt and tidy. Who can mess up the Tim Hortons tried and true double double? These people can. That's who. We ordered two and they both tasted like crap. Either something was spoiled or they used a sugar substitute. Of course we're down the highway now so they got their money and we got rotten coffee. As an aside, I am no coffee snob. I will reheat yesterday's coffee and fully enjoy it! Also, no egg items on the menu without bacon or sausage. It's 2025 people! One item without meat at least. Not that we'll ever be this way again, but I hope this saves others from consuming nasty coffee here. Wish I'd read the previous reviews before stopping! There's more food and coffee down the road. p.s. The guy who took our order was very nice. So that's the 1 star! read more

I realize it's a chain coffee/doughnut shop, but if you are going to advertise a price either honor it or change the price on your billboard. Classic donuts and specialty donuts advertised at the same price but charging more for the specialty. Staff was rude and the donuts were weird not a big fan, but it won't go back. read more

This was so bad. I think they reheated last week's food. The food was so bad we didn't eat it. All the hash browns, egg sandwich and omelette bits all in the trash. We were going to ask for a refund but didn't want to wait. There was only 1 person working and he was run off his feet. They need hire people. Only the 2nd time I've ever been to a Tim Hortons. We ordered timbits and a large ice Capp supreme mocha at this location just 10 mins ago. We drove away and I took a big sip of my coffee, this is the only drink I get from Tim Hortons ever. And the sip I took was horrendous. It tasted spoiled. I have never in my life had anything like it, maybe spoiled sweetener if that's even possible. I don't know what it was but we turned around and came back to return it. The first girl was very nice and said she would let the manager know. We did not want it replaced as I'm pregnant and idk what ingredient it is that's bad but I did not want to chance it. We just wanted a refund on the coffee. The man who was the manager I guess just came to the window and stared at us. He didn't introduce himself or even say a word. So we sat there staring at him. Finally my husband said "uhm we want a refund on the coffee, my wife said there's something wrong with it". And he asked what kind of drink it was, so we told him. He closed the window offered no apologies, and just tossed the money in my husband's hand. And said nothing. I know he's not mute because he asked his drive thru girl something. The rest of the crew was staring at us from the window passing my coffee around and sniffing it. Hopefully they tasted it as well to find out I wasn't lying. Not sure what their issue was. Also we were not rude in the slightest when asking for a refund so no that was not the issue. And as I said the first girl we spoke to understood and was super nice. So weird management here, keeping expired products and has no customer service. Won't be back but as I know stores with bad management won't care and nothing will be done but hopefully someone reads this and doesn't stop. Oh well. Timbits were good though read more

My hubby and I were on our way home from central PA and needed some coffee. I've never been to a Tim Hortons before. Although it was part of a gas station, it seemed to be clean and welcoming. I was very tempted to try the new waffle sandwich, but I went with a berry muffin and white chocolate latte. I can tell you this..it's some of the best damn coffee I've ever had from a chain restaurant! So much better than any Dunkin or Bucks anyday! The staff was friendly and prompt. Tim Hortons is my favorite, everyday coffee. Only I can't get Tim's in Wisconsin, except from Amazon. And since Amazon doesn't serve hot coffee (yet) I look forward to finding Tim Hortons when I travel east, to certain parts of Michigan, certain parts of Ohio, or along the New York Throughway. (Personal to Tim Hortons: Fargo? Seriously? Is there something wrong with Milwaukee?) Or to Erie, where this location is just off I-90. (Eastbounders, exit and make what seems like a right hand U-turn right into the parking lot!) It's shared space with a gas station/convenience store (as many American locations are) so you can get motion lotion, find your travel needs, and get your fix of Tim Hortons. There is a drive-thru window, too. Me? All I wanted was Tim Hortons coffee. Tall, hot and fresh. Along with a two pound can to smuggle back to the land of cheese. It was just what I expected, Timmy is consistent and I always look forward to finding him. read more

How much can be said about a Tim Horton's located inside of a gas station? The answer is not much. I came here while on a short work trip and while being in need of a quick breakfast. I ordered a breakfast wrap with hash brown sticks, and a frozen lemonade on the side. The food only took about 3 minutes to come out and the same went for the drink. The staff working all seemed pretty friendly and before you know it I was back on the road shoving the wrap in my mouth. The wrap was a little bland but still alright, the Bach browns were average, and the frozen lemonade was just like every other Tim Horton's frozen lemonade I've had in my life. Overall, this is a solid choice for a quick snack stop if you also need some gas, it is what it is! read more

I have been to this place 3 times. The first time was a great experience. Everything came out great. The second time I got the cold brew with foam, they were not good it seemed like they put whipped cream on them and they did not taste like the first drinks we had so I went inside to ask for them to be remade. I think they just dumped the old drinks into new cups and added the foam because mine still had some whipped topping in it. I went there today to give them another chance the vanilla cold brew was not good at all and the strawberry coconut refresher seemed to really only have coconut milk in it. I am not sure what is going on in this store but I will not go to this location again. I will travel a little more out of my way to go to a different location. read more
