I was scammed by a smooth talking man named Nick Bidic and his son Max when I left the lot with nothing but one paper he signed his name with an X. I was so desperate for a car I agreed to pay $205 a month and gave $500 down. When I got home, I noticed the windshield was cracked. There was only one headlight working and there was no air condition max replaced the windshield. They eventually replaced the one headlight. So that I had two. When I went back to complain to max, he was upset. I told him he should run the business legally then I want back to speak about the air conditioning to the mechanic Kevin K . He told me he did jail time for taking someone's life, which did not thrill me. In other words, if you mess with our company, you mess with me ! that's how I took it. They never fixed the air conditioner. I had my debit card on file with them. Suddenly, my account was stolen from compromised so I changed the card numbers. I said I would go there every month and make the payments in person which I did. I kept all the information in a folder along with Better Business Bureau papers and consumer fraud papers and all my receipts, the folder, never left my apartment. So when the car finally had major problems in 10 months I stop making payments went there and said can you please fix my car. Like Max had promised me on a signed paper that was in my file. Kevin K the mechanic now floor manager said no the car is a junker, too much mileage. I said you didn't tell me that when I bought it and the Carfax I found out showed it was salvaged title. He said to buy this new Chevy dart I did not want to get involved with them again, and the car was way too small for me for I'm a big guy. He made me sign a paper I was foolish to sign. I did not know what it said. He said give me your keys took the car in the back for 20 minutes came out gave me the keys and walked away so I left I continue to drive the car until it. I figured eventually would die. which it did, but while I was driving it for the next month I was burning and itching had to throw all my clothes in a trash bag after I wore them I vomited. I called the police. They said I was just dirt inside the car I vacuumed. had the car detailed. The persons arms were burning. I got the car back and it's still was burning and making me sick like there were toxins in the car or something. I called and got no answer from Carnac in Palmyra n.j. . The car eventually exploded or the engine seized and almost caught on fire. I was told by the tow truck driver. Because the car has been sitting at my apartment spot for months. My apartment has been broken into I made a police report. I haven't got the car towed away in case I go to court and I'm afraid for my life because of the comments that were said to me I want nothing to do with this company or these people. They are criminals and they have destroyed my life. I have called the attorney general of N.J. The woman I spoke with was familiar with the family and totally understood what I was saying. I didn't realize they were out of business for 10 years. For major problems with the state of New Jersey she was very kind and was supposed to get back to me never did so far . I just want their company and this car out of my life..P.S I have a file for everything and my entire file about auto smart and also containing all my payment receipts and the Carfax and the articles that I wrote the whole file has disappeared mysteriously? My apartment has also been broken into. On This matter. I cannot point the finger? Thankyou! Unnerved in N.J. ANTHONY D

Good try Joe. Noticed you had Google remove all the bad reviews. Scumbag.

Super easy, no pressure, and professional experience…read more We were driving around looking for a car and just happened to stop at the traffic light and saw this place. We had seen reviews for the dealership a month ago and good thing their name stuck in our combined minds. LOL Tony came out to greet us and asked what we were looking for. He showed us a couple of cars that were close to our criteria (SUV, not a Jeep, under 200K miles, and around $5k). They had a 08 Taurus X that was close to spotless inside, clean inside the engine bay, and no rust on the undercarriage ... even the parking lot itself was spotless. I told Tony and Joe what our original budget was and he worked with us to get us the car for a total of $6000. (It's above the national average market price, but we know there's extremely little inventory available in a 50 mile radius. We had seen two cars we were interested in elsewhere that were sold in under 3 days!) While Lena and Joe did our paperwork, Tony cleaned up the windshield and we drove off the lot (after a picture for Facebook LOL) probably just 2 hours later! A few days later the permanent tags and title were ready for pickup! Once we had that, drove down to the state inspection facility and got the green sticker (means the vehicle passed) in less than 5 minutes!

I purchased a used 2020 Hyundai Palisade from Hessert Chevrolet of Cherry Hill on July 25, 2026…read more Unfortunately, my experience after the sale has been extremely concerning. Within roughly 10 days of purchase, I brought the vehicle back to Hessert because I was hearing an abnormal knocking/noise and seeing what appeared to be fluid leaking underneath it. I showed photographs of the apparent leak. I was advised that they could not identify a leak and could not duplicate the noise. I relied on that assessment and continued driving the vehicle. Approximately two weeks later, while my family was on vacation in the Georgia mountains, the Palisade experienced a charging-system failure and completely lost power. We were stranded and had to locate a mobile mechanic. The repair involved replacement of the alternator and service to the serpentine belt. Our documented repair subtotal was $950, and the breakdown forced us to remain in Georgia an additional night. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of it. While driving home after the repair, the vehicle experienced another significant loss of power while I was traveling approximately 60 mph on Interstate 81. The vehicle eventually regained power, but after two power-loss events I was no longer comfortable simply treating this as an alternator-reimbursement issue. After returning home, I also photographed fresh fluid underneath the vehicle again--the same type of visible condition I had brought the vehicle back to Hessert about shortly after purchase. I am not claiming to know what the fluid is or what caused either power-loss event. Those are questions for qualified technicians. I sent Hessert a detailed formal written notice on August 18, followed by supplemental photographs of the continuing apparent leak. On August 20, I escalated the matter in writing to dealership management and requested principal-level review. I asked for a comprehensive inspection, transportation of the vehicle rather than having my family drive it back, reimbursement of documented emergency expenses, the relevant pre-sale/service records, and most importantly, a substantive written response regarding the vehicle. As of August 27, I have received no response to those written notices. I gave Hessert the opportunity to address this directly before taking the matter outside the dealership. I would still prefer a reasonable resolution. If Hessert responds or resolves the matter, I will update this review accordingly. I have retained the emails, photographs, repair documentation and other records supporting this chronology.
