The worst experience of my life. I was sold a car that was totaled with a salvage title. I was not made aware of it. I was scammed by a smooth talking man named Nick Bidic and his son Max when I left the lot with nothing but one paper he signed his name with an X. I was so desperate for a car I agreed to pay $205 a month and gave $500 down. When I got home, I noticed the windshield was cracked. There was only one headlight working and there was no air condition max replaced the windshield. They eventually replaced the one headlight. So that I had two. When I went back to complain to max, he was upset. I told him he should run the business legally then I want back to speak about the air conditioning to the mechanic Kevin K . He told me he did jail time for taking someone's life, which did not thrill me. In other words, if you mess with our company, you mess with me ! that's how I took it. They never fixed the air conditioner. I had my debit card on file with them. Suddenly, my account was stolen from compromised so I changed the card numbers. I said I would go there every month and make the payments in person which I did. I kept all the information in a folder along with Better Business Bureau papers and consumer fraud papers and all my receipts, the folder, never left my apartment. So when the car finally had major problems in 10 months I stop making payments went there and said can you please fix my car. Like Max had promised me on a signed paper that was in my file. Kevin K the mechanic now floor manager said no the car is a junker, too much mileage. I said you didn't tell me that when I bought it and the Carfax I found out showed it was salvaged title. He said to buy this new Chevy dart I did not want to get involved with them again, and the car was way too small for me for I'm a big guy. He made me sign a paper I was foolish to sign. I did not know what it said. He said give me your keys took the car in the back for 20 minutes came out gave me the keys and walked away so I left I continue to drive the car until it. I figured eventually would die. which it did, but while I was driving it for the next month I was burning and itching had to throw all my clothes in a trash bag after I wore them I vomited. I called the police. They said I was just dirt inside the car I vacuumed. had the car detailed. The persons arms were burning. I got the car back and it's still was burning and making me sick like there were toxins in the car or something. I called and got no answer from Carnac in Palmyra n.j. . The car eventually exploded or the engine seized and almost caught on fire. I was told by the tow truck driver. Because the car has been sitting at my apartment spot for months. My apartment has been broken into I made a police report. I haven't got the car towed away in case I go to court and I'm afraid for my life because of the comments that were said to me I want nothing to do with this company or these people. They are criminals and they have destroyed my life. I have called the attorney general of N.J. The woman I spoke with was familiar with the family and totally understood what I was saying. I didn't realize they were out of business for 10 years. For major problems with the state of New Jersey she was very kind and was supposed to get back to me never did so far . I just want their company and this car out of my life..P.S I have a file for everything and my entire file about auto smart and also containing all my payment receipts and the Carfax and the articles that I wrote the whole file has disappeared mysteriously? I would give a zero if I could. We bought a 2023 Toyota Sienna through an auto broker in Utah that buys from Mannheim's online auto auction, through which Auto Smart was selling the vehicle. We knew the van had some after market painting above the driver side front and rear wheel wells. What we found out AFTER we got the car is that it had been in an accident and they did some kind of weird electrical wiring after the fact. So we have after market wiring which was not disclosed and which our local Toyota dealer said will make things more costly and complicated. Tom was also pretty rude, aggressive, and hard to deal with. These guys are also under investigation for multiple customer complaints and problems. Do NOT buy from them. They are not honest, have no integrity, and actively try to deceive people. I hope the investigations get them shut down soon so other people don't go through what we went through. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. This business is a fraud. Read their reviews. These guys have very poor business skills and are very condescending. My wife and I purchased an Alfa Romeo stelvio on February 1st. The car came in filthy, there was oil spilled all over the trunk, during transport the car was damaged. Marc promised to get all this resolved in a different day since the person who details the vehicles called out. He also said he needed to order the paint to touch up the rims. It's now been 3 weeks of me attempting to get a hold of someone. When I finally did, an appointment was scheduled but later canceled. It's been excuse after excuse. Which I see now they have been using the same excuse of a family member passing. I am understanding that things come up in life, but they didn't have a problem communicating when we paid cash for the vehicle. I've now been attempting to call their "corporate" number, but it seems to be someone's cell phone number with a google messaging service. By a crazy chance, Al from Texas reaches out to me and says he's going to have a director call me back within 24hrs but to go to the palmyra location and they will take care of the things promised. At this point I have told Marc, Al, Pete, and Kevin, and we no longer want the vehicle and to conduct business with them and we would like our money back. When we arrived to the palmyra location we contact the police department to give us a police report, as we waited for them to arrive a director named Doug finally comes out after us sitting there for an hour waiting for pd. Doug acts completely ignorant to the situation, at this point my wife and I asked Doug to leave us be until the police department arrived. At this point Doug became confrontational and told us that no one is going to "bully" him in his lot, and began circling the car for about 5-10minutes. He finally goes back to the office and shortly after the police arrive and we're extremely helpful in taking our report. However autosmart nation is refusing to hold up their end of the contract. We are still being promised phone calls back and the 30 days of our temp tag has expired. The DMV has no record of the dealership attempting to get our registration and tags. I purchased a Dodge Journey from AutoSmart August 2023. In November 2023 the jeep broke down. I am a social media influencer who gives back to the homeless. This vehicle was going to be used to help my community. Since November the vehicle has pretty much been inoperable. I called Stone recently and he said that AutoSmart no longer exists. As I see the website and social media accounts still active. Marc is the owner/manager rude and all about taking your money and giving bad product. I've been going back and forth with them since November about getting the car fixed. I've dropped the car off at least 3 times, they have the car for weeks at a time then say it's fixed.
