My fiance and I recently bought a 2009 Subaru Outback from World Auto Sales and couldn't be happier. All of the used cars at the dealerships seemed to be priced well above book value, while World priced our car well below book value. The deal we got was literally thousands less than comparable cars in the area. The service we received from Alex, Alex, and the rest of their staff was nothing less than extraordinary. Friendliness is customary in the sales business, but their staff went above and beyond to help us out. Soon after purchasing our car, we had a mix-up (our error--not theirs. long story--we didn't realize the valet key wasn't a full-fledged key. don't laugh--we've never had a car this new!) and had the car towed back to the shop. When Alex realized we had sent along the wrong key, he drove to my finance's workplace in Camden to pick up the correct key! The rest of the service was just as great--from a complimentary detailing and inspection to ordering a keyless entry key for us from Subaru. They also offer very reasonable warranties for their cars from a reputable company, including a complimentary 30 day warranty (engine and transmission only) for many of their cars. Their deal was so good that we were able to purchase the car and a pretty comprehensive 3 year warranty for the same amount we would have spent on the car only elsewhere. From a financing standpoint, you may be able to do better with your own bank. While they were very helpful with financing at the showroom, we were able to get a much better rate from our own bank. The prices were very reasonable and there was a good selection of cars available. The assistants remember you and what types of cars you looked at. I had looked at a Volkswagen, but wasn't able to buy it in time and when a car similar to the one I had looked at came in, the assistant remembered that I had looked at the car previously and thought about me when he saw it at the auction. First thing is Nick was a great guy but was really bad with being available at the front desk, my wife stopped going there because she was waiting an extremely long time. Today was the second time I have been to World Auto for service after Nick. I went in to have my truck inspected and was promptly taken care of and when I returned to pick it up it was already out of the bay and George was at the front to take care of the business end of the deal. I purchased a car from WAS in 2016, It was as/is but with a 6 month warranty that I demanded that they write it in the contract that they verbally told me they would give to me.. I thought it would be fine. All hell broke loose, and not included in the contract that it was a junk yard car that they fixed up and sold w/o my knowledge. They never mentioned to me and it is not in the contract. I learned from several dealerships It was deemed "salvage" or "rebuilt." Because the car had been in 3 separate accidents, the structure of the car which you can not see may not be intact, nothing to protect you during an accident, or the air bags may not exist and you may never know until you have an accident. The horn worked when it wanted to and was replaced 3 times. I took a chance with my life, when I contacted the pitiful warranty co., they refused to fix anything. it was one thing after another, especially the transmission. Not even Ford manufacturers warranty would fix anything because it was a piece of junk that may have LOOKED good but very deceptive. I was blessed that my insurance co. was not aware that this car was rebuilt because they do not have to insure it and you may not find out until after you have an accident. These are a bunch of greedy people who do not care for human life because it initially was for my 16 year old daughter and just to think that that she drove this car brought tears to my eyes. My best friend lost her 23 y/o son after she bought this type of vehicle from another place like this on... and while driving on Lincoln drive, he completely lost his system (confirmed by an investigation) and crossed the center line and ran into a pickup truck. His car caught fire and people could only watch as he burned up alive and the pickup truck driver was severely hurt and burned. So I got rid of this death trap and bought my daughter a real car from a dealership that I could trust without feeling like I was taken advantage of. read more

I been searching around for a Mercury mariner hybrid 2006 -2010 that was in my price range. Found this place on cars.com. This place specially Paul was very courteous and pleasant. They had some other nice vehicles as well but he had my 2008 Mercury mariner hybrid baby blue. Even though I got there late in the evening he didn't rush me. His buddy whose name I forgot was also very pleasant talking to my husband. There showroom was off the chain they had a lot of foreign used cars in great condition and great prices. The place is nice, clean and welcoming. Paul was a good salesman who was patient with me with all the questions I was asking him at this time of night. I would definitely recommend this place and I will go back again myself to purchase another vehicle. read more

This may become a long review, but long story short, World Auto Sales has overturned all my preconceptions about buying a car from a used car dealership. They, *especially* Tatyana, exceeded my expectations at every step with their honesty and integrity. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy my next car from them or recommend them to anyone. Of course, as with any used car purchase and like another reviewer said, I would advise a buyer to do some research on the car they plan to buy, and I'm absolutely confident that World Auto Sales will work with you. I've known about World Auto Sales through their website for a while, but it wasn't until I saw a manual VW CC, a car that I always liked, at a surprisingly affordable price that I actually started seriously thinking about replacing my not-so-fun-to-drive Hyundai. I left a message with them through their website and I was promptly contacted by Tatyana the next morning. Tatyana was courteous on the phone and that made me immediately comfortable. She answered every question that I had about the car. I was pleasantly surprised when she not only described in detail the mechanical work that had been done on the car after it arrived at the dealership but also helped me anticipate how much it would cost to own it (my first european car) by telling me how much each of the jobs cost. Once at their beautiful showroom, I was happy with the test drive but not fully satisfied, I would have liked a longer test drive, perhaps including a section of highway. I noticed a switch that wasn't working and they immediately ordered the part for it to be replaced. Once I had decided to buy the car, I spoke to Tatyana in detail about some maintenance work on the car which I thought ought to be done. As much as the fact that Tatyana made arrangements for that maintenance to be done at a shop which she trusted and discounted its cost, her professionalism and honesty really shone with the fact that she patiently listened, considered and understood my concerns. I was almost sure before talking to her that my concerns would be dismissed, and I'm glad I was wrong. I decided make the actual purchase on a Saturday evening and it was almost time to close. Nataliya was very accommodating and stayed beyond the closing time to finalize the paperwork. Around a month later, I got the maintenance work done at the shop Tatyana recommended and I'm quite happy with them. Thanks to Tatyana, I got to know about a good auto shop too! And those have been hard to find for me. All in all World Auto Sales is phenomenal. The sales staff including Nataliya and Paul are great. Tatyana deserves special mention for all the time and effort she put into taking all the guess work out of this purchase for me. read more

Information sheet posted on the car clearly stated that it came with a warranty. When I asked what the warranty covers, Paul said "That's a typo", and that the car didn't actually have a warranty. Paul also lied about the condition of the car, as he claimed the power locks functioned without issue, when in fact the back door could not be unlocked. Swank place though. read more

I was in the market for a specific vehicle. A 2007-2011 e90 BMW 328xi, automatic with sport package and paddle shifters. After driving over an hour twice in the past week to see 2 different vehicles that had these options that I had wanted, I came across a similar vehicle listed by World Auto Sales. The car looked great online, and after talking to Paul at World Auto Sales, I decided that I had to have it. I felt confident enough after reading their great reviews online, but speaking to Paul sealed the deal. He told me that he personally rode in the car for about 40 miles, and that it drove well. He also went over the carfax with me over the phone, pointing out any information on it that a buyer might find relevant and answered the few questions that I had. After about 20-25 minutes of thinking about the car and of the 2 trips I made in the past week to see similar vehicles, I called back to put a hold on the car. My deposit ensured that World Auto Sales would hold the car for me for up to 7 days, so that I wouldn't fear that the car would sell before I could come to see it. Paul called me back later on to see how I was getting to their place, to offer their help in case I needed a ride from the train station. When I arrived on Monday, the clean, shiny car was right outside of the front door waiting for me. It looked even better than in the pictures! The car seemed close to perfect, despite being 9 years old. I met with Paul and we went for a quick ride before filling out the car purchase paperwork. The car's only flaw was some peeling and flaking around the sides of the steering wheel (a known problem with this specific BMW sport steering wheel.) Paul even offered to help to remedy the peeling wheel if he could figure out a way to do so before I left there. All in all, it was a great experience from start to finish. Communication was timely and thorough all along. You really feel like you are dealing with someone you can trust, as opposed to dealing with people who give you the feeling that they are trying to pull one over on you. I am completely astounded at these five star ratings for this dealership. Perhaps it was the person that I dealt with, Vlasic or whatever was the most unscrupulous individual I have ever met. Upon our arrival at the dealership this Russian idiot took us to the wrong vehicle, claimed it was just a mistake, but as soon as the test drive was over one of the employees got in the car that I was interested in buying and drove off the lot. It was obviously being used as this employee's personal vehicle for the time being. We went in to discuss figures and he refused to negotiate at all & offered a ridiculous amount for a decade-old vehicle. When I confronted the salesperson about the car being driven off the lot he said they had to "check it" to make sure it was mechanically sound, but during the "negotiation" he called his general manager, spoke in Russian on the phone & said that the cost was so high because they put alot of money into that car to get it showroom ready. This was an obvious lie because if it was showroom ready, why was an employee driving off with it to "check" it for mechanical problems? This 'salesman' also used his language barrier to act like he did not understand a question that was posed and would just stare at us, creating uncomfortable silences and long pauses. He was a straight-up liar, a slimy worm of a man that lied himself right out of an $8,000 CASH sale. I was actually going to buy the car but this misogynistic, ignorant dude, as I won't even call him a man, was such a turn-off & so untrustworthy that I had to politely listen to his bullshit about a price but I was already certain that I could never do business with a person like this. I wish Natalia had been there as she was pleasant on the phone and I was looking forward to dealing with her but instead I ended up with this junior salesman or whatever title he has, and a sure sale was totally lost. If ever there was a vision of a slimy, lying, pathetic shrew of a used car salesman, Vladic or Vlasic, whatever his name is, is the poster child. This was just my experience, but having visited five Philadelphia area dealerships in the past 2 weeks this place was the absolute worst. There is nothing more offensive to an American then to have some immigrant Russian talking down to a woman in a condescending manner and lying straight to someone's face. Purchased a car for only $1000 on 6/8/2016 and it is already in need of major repair, including needing a head gasket. I understand $1000 doesn't get much but it should get more than 2 weeks. I called even though I knew what they were going to say, as is, to see if they'd buy it back or God forbid refund my money and all Paul would say it's as is, his hands are tied. When I was there I saw young people cleaning cars, which is great, but no one fixing cars, which is not so great. I knew this was a temporary fix but I would have been better off renting a car for a month. How about spending a few bucks on a real mechanic so your customers don't have to? We bought a car here less than 1 year ago. The process was fast and simple. We did have to come back and get our inspection done, but it didn't seem THAT inconvenient even though we don't live in Philly. We had a tire blow because of a bad plug within the first week. Also not THAT big of a deal. Fast forward a year later. I have put more than $6000 of work into a car that cost us $7000. I was in touch with these guys to ask what they could help with. I heard nothing back and then got a response that said, "bring it to our mechanic." Uh, no thanks! You sold me this piece of junk and your mechanic gave us an inspection sticker that turns out to be bogus! BUYERS BEWARE! Have your own mechanic check out the car before you purchase. We bought a hybrid that now has no hybrid battery. Something the Ford dealership tells me that they have NEVER seen.Both the rear shocks have rusted through--also should not have passed the (bogus) inspection World Auto Sales gave us. No way this amount of damage could have happened in one year. We have reached out more than once to try and resolve these issues with World Auto Sales. They will be perfectly pleasant on the phone and want to resolve the issue, but ultimately have to "speak with someone else" and we never hear back. Makes me sick how much we have had to put into this "great deal" from World Auto Sales. Ugh! read more

A word to the wise, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. My wife and I purchased a car from World Auto Sales 4 months ago (October 2017), and it has been nothing but trouble. We purchased a used 2006 Audi A4 and were told that the car was in "excellent condition". Little did we know that as soon as we drove it off the lot, it would turn into "hell on wheels". The salesperson, Vasile, knowingly sold us a car that would not pass state inspection. My wife took the car in for state inspection and had to pay over $600 in repairs just for the car to pass, and was told by the inspection facility that other parts of her car barely met the criteria for passing. Two weeks after that, the car would mysteriously shut off while driving, another mechanic appointment and another $900 dollars into the car. The next week, the same problem occurred, and this time we took the car into the Audi dealership over in Willow Grove. The mechanics there have been unable to solve the problem, and have found even more parts of the car that need replacing. All told we will need to put more money into this car for it to be functional than we paid for it. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT purchase a car from them because you will get exactly what you pay for! read more
