I was on the verge of a full on melt down when I decided to try one more garage before calling a tow truck. Luckily the next one I found on the map was Bill's garage. Brandon was incredibly helpful and professional and asked me to stop by so he could have a look. When I arrived Brandon came right out and ran diagnostics a few times and drive it around a bit to assess the situation. He felt like it was ok to drive it back which was a huge relief. The entire appointment was exactly 59 minutes. Not only that, when it came time to pay what should have been about $60, I was told it was all covered by the warranty on my Cooper Tires. They knew they would do it for free and still treated me just as good as a paying customer. In this day and age, that's something really worth noting. As a result, I will be using them regularly from now on. Their prices are reasonable, the work good and the staff is very good. This is the type of place I'd send my mother to for her car service. Had to Uber kids to school, call roadside assistance for jump. Was not told until back in person that the reason was THEY NEVER REPLACED THE BATTERY BECAUSE THEY DIDNT SEE IT ON THE PAPERWORK. This was the sole issue that had been discussed for 2 days prior. I'm still pleasant at this point; walk home. Receive call ACCUSING me of not giving them my keys; they strongly believe this because "I gave them the car running". I'm like duh, the battery's dead, that was a convenience TO YOU. At this point, I say "you already didn't render services upon payment in full and now you're telling me you lost my keys, why would I believe you?" I hung up, I'm on my way. On the way on my child's scooter, I get a VM, of course they found the keys. Pete(?) meets me outside, hands me keys, tries to show me "what happened". As I'm already getting in my car, he says "I don't appreciate you hollering at my guy". The difference being that the dealer seemed to upcharge on what is needed and what coud be done. Their overhead charges and labor costs were extreme as well.
