This place never disappoints! It's one of those place where you wait for them to slip up but they don't! Consistency and fresh ingredients keep me coming back. I'm new up here and I have to drive 20 minutes to enjoy my grub with my lady who teaches. Eating there is very much recommended! Their tomato soup is smackin too. Yes food smacks not slaps! Top fat boy tips, get the Dutch crunch bread! Amazing! I would like to get some and make a Cuban sandwich with it. They even have plenty of parking on the street for a big rig. Only thing I can imagine saying bad is I wish they fries to go with their sandwiches. But im a fat boy. Come thru and be impressed as I am! God bless

I was very excited about this deli because of the reviews. However my visit was a disappointment. 10/17/23 about 2:30 I stopped in- not busy with five people working. First off the music was very loud which made it very hard to understand the soft spoken young man taking my order- I also felt as if I was an inconvenience. Second it took ten minutes to get my sandwich after ordering- only one other customer walked in after me. Lastly the biggest disappointment was upon getting home and opening my sandwich it didn't have two of the main ingredients (you also can not see them make the sandwich) I ordered the Hang 10 which on the menu says it includes cream cheese and avocado which my sandwich had neither. The two stars are for what was on the sandwich was tasty however I am in no hurry to return for a $14 sandwich to have to "check" the order. I understand mistakes happen but darn.

This restaurant was amazing. They had great service and don't get me started on how fun and intriguing it was to look for the cows. Also, the food was quick and amazing I did a make your own but they usually add to much turkey and I have to take some of it off but here they added just enough and not too much. I love pastrami and Main Street Deli has great Pastrami Sandwiches-----I tried one with salami which was great-----but the Pastrami on rye was excellent!! Great place to pop in off the freeway or swing by when in town---plenty of parking and lots of room to dine in. I am a regular and will return on a regular basis!!! read more

Main Street Deli have the best sandwiches around! The bread is always fresh there unlike those other mom and pop shops. I hate it when you pay $15 for a sandwich and it scratches the roof of your mouth. I like the Red Bank and Shasta sandwich. I live in Anderson and I make the drive to Red Bluff just for the sandwiches and it's worth it. Seriously if you think you've had a good sandwich before I think this place will exceed your expectations. read more

So disappointed. I have heard so many good things about the quality of sandwiches but that was not the case today. We ordered the Red Rock roast beef on dutch crunch and the turkey special with cranberry/ cream cheese spread. I was looking forward to a pre thanksgiving treat. This sandwich was served hot, so I was expecting grilled bread but instead an inedible soggy heap of sliced bread, hot lettuce, raw bacon. The Red Rock was slightly better but so much bbq sauce that the bread was completely soggy. $40 for lunch that had to be tossed in the garbage. read more

We tried Main St Deli a few months back after the new owners took over. We have been super impressed by the quality of the food, the friendliness of the workers. Their food is always fresh and SO. Well since you decided to blame it on me, I'll tell the truth for you. When you look at a customer and make eye contact and say "here's your order" they assume you know what your talking about and giving them the right order. Not my fault. Also, why would I purposely change what the sandwich looked like? You just don't want to take the blame for being cheap and making a poor sandwich. I had been wanting to try this place out for a while since I'm a huge foodie! The guys are handsome and polite however it should not take 30 minutes for a sandwich, 1 sandwich! They lack motivation, direction and energy! Their menu looks great with a variety of options and the place is clean n neat only thing is it needs more ambiance add a few tv screens with the favorite channels and some surround music. This place replaced the former Tai's Deli. They have changed the menu, but the sandwiches are still delicious and freshly prepared. We picked up two sandwiches recently, the Stallion and the Adobe, and they were delicious. The customer service was outstanding, and the place appeared very clean. read more

Stopped by this little deli on my vacation. The food here is amazing. I had the Stallion with chips and a Soda. The sandwich was super fresh and full of flavor. My wife and I just tried this place out for the first time. We ordered the Round Up and the Shasta. I did online ordering because I was in a rush. The wait time was 20 minutes. About 7 minutes later I got a text telling me the sandwiches were ready. SCORE! My wife and I loved the sandwiches. The bread was fresh, the sauces were full of flavor, and there was no skimping on the toppings. Definitely going back next time I'm in Red Bluff. read more

I'm giving these guys a one star I would be negative if it was able to do that because of the rude staff the slow so slow on taking orders and delivering them to the customers on time and the other thing is they act like they are inconvenienced when you come in and less you are one of their friends and then they have a good time talking but other than that they are super super rude I hate this place but I love their sandwiches overpriced ridiculous on the pricing they think that they can overpriced because why I have no idea read more

The omelet was perfectly cooked and had the right ratios of fillings and enough egg so it wasn't all thin like a crepe. Prices are perfectly reasonable. Service was friendly and fine. I just got pics of my plate, I didn't wanna stick my camera in front of the big boss's face and say lemme get a pic of your food! I'd even come back here just for breakfast even if I didn't have to meet anyone flying in. I'll have to try the lunch menu next time.

I didn't wanna do a sit down affair by myself, so ordered a steak burrito to go, no sauce. By the time I got the car unloaded and unpacked a little, the burrito was not as hot as I like, so I wrapped it in some foil and popped it in the oven. Damn microwave is not working. Heated, I sat down finally for some dinner. The burrito was nicely filled with meat, cheese, beans and some rice. I like to eat my burrito with both hands and from one end, like burritos from a taqueria, so that's why I don't want any sauce over my burrito. I'd say this was a nice burrito, better than that Bandito joint, no Mexican flavor there! Long time ago, this restaurant used to be one of the worst Chinese restaurants in Red Bluff for years ... glad that's gone and this Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant is here now. I might even go back for a real sit down dinner!

I figured I'd just get a to go order of a burrito. Carlito's is located in the eastern side of town on Antelope Blvd. other wise known as Highway 36. It's set back in a shopping center across the street from Bud's Jolly Cone ice cream and burger joint. Lots of parking. I go in and place my order with the person up front. I just want a burrito to go (steak) and not have a plate with a bunch of sauce over it, cause I like to eat a burrito with my hands not having to use a fork and knife. I guess that's just me. They said they could do that and I waited not too long. I got the burrito, feeling the weight in my hands, and headed back to my house. I unwrap the foil and its all hot for sure. I have some salsa at home, so after biting off one of the ends, I pour some of the salsa on. YES, this was the taste I was looking for, a real Mexican flavor, not like that Americanized Burrito place at the north end of town. The burrito had all the fillings I like and I didn't even finish the whole thing. Save about half for later. Now I'd like to try the dine in at Carlito's.
