Chicago Italian Beef French Dip
Cindy C.

Yummy lunch in small downtown deli on Main Street. Super friendly staff. We came for breakfast but were too late as it ends at 10:30 am so lunch it was. Half Sandwich & Soup for me and Chicago Style Italian Roast Beef Dip Sandwich & Aunt Linda's Potato Salad. Food made to order and half sandwich can be any except burger or wrap. They had two soups so I got Ham and Beef minestrone

Beef on wick, side of potato salad = awesomeness

This is the quintessential deli. The food is great. Legit homemade deli food. The potato salad is legit. Don come here expecting to some quick throw together meal. They take their time and it shows. I love this about this place. It small, the music was even awesome. This is a place thar if your in Buford you should get a sandwich.

A met a friend for lunch here. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I had a cheesesteak and my friend had the French dip. Both were delicious. The desserts looked delicious but after the sandwiches were were full. The bread on my sandwich was soft and perfect. A cute deli right on the train tracks in adorable downtown Buford. Street parking was easy to find but we were there mid-week.

We ate here today. It was really good and the people were very nice. I got the B's favorite and my husband got the club.

Thick cut quality meat. We called in the order and it was ready in 10 minutes. We got the club on grilled sourdough and the grilled black and tan. I got a side of Gouda pasta salad, very good. There is some spice to the pasta salad.

Very good. The employees are always so nice. It also smells like hams when you walk in which is a plus.

We ordered the bacon biscuit with grits and the avocado toast, and everything was absolutely delicious. The grits were the standout item for me. We learned they are made with locally sourced grits from a North Georgia mill, and the cheese combination created an incredibly creamy texture and rich flavor. The coffee was excellent as well and was served in a large mug that we really appreciated. We also discovered that the coffee is sourced from a small local roaster in Johns Creek, which fits perfectly with the restaurant's commitment to supporting local businesses. The dining area is somewhat small, but there is bar seating and outdoor seating available, which provides additional options. We also found out they have a second location in Johns Creek near our neighborhood, so we'll definitely be giving that one a try soon. Great food, excellent coffee, and a strong commitment to local sourcing make this a place worth visiting. We'll be back! BAM!

(Which... we did.) Love Potion Latte (Valentine's menu): Absolutely delicious. The strawberry aroma alone could convince someone to fall in love. And served in that giant Rushing Trading mug? A full commitment. Zero regrets. Brown Sugar French Toast: I added strawberries and bacon because I believe in living boldly. It paid off. Perfection. Lumberjack Special: That board comes out looking like it's ready to feed a small village. Not a complaint uttered. Service was great, our server was on it, attentive, and basically read our minds the whole time.

Ava helped us and was absolutely awesome and friendly throughout our visit. We started with beinets that had a lemon curd smear on the serving plate. The beinets were perfect, airy, light, hot, and covered in powdered sugar. They were awesome without the lemon curd but, when you added it to the beinet, a very tasty addition. We also ordered coffee and a cappuccino with vanilla, both fresh, hot, and tasty. We then ordered the she had the Avacado toast with crispy potatoes and I had the fried chicken and bourbon waffle. She really enjoyed the avacado toast as it is her favorite place to have this meal. The chicken was fried perfectly, with the right amount of heat in flavor, the bacon jam and maple syrup, what a great depth of flavors, I absolutely loved this dish. I had some of her crispy potatoes, they were awesome, the salting was spot on perfect and added so much flavor. We love this place, a great morning date, or a place to bring the kids, it is charming, vibrant pink color with gold accents throughout makes it a special place. We will of course keep coming back.

I was thrilled to try Caroline's on Main! I've been twice now and love the authentic downtown feel, light pink interior, and fun, feminine atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly, and the breakfast was great! **Pros:** Charming atmosphere, friendly service, and a great homemade breakfast. **Cons:** The breakfast/brunch menu is a little limited. I'd love to see a few more options to choose from! Overall, I'm happy to have found this spot and will definitely be back. I hope the menu continues to grow because I'd love to see more variety!

We ordered a veggie skillet and a Nutella banana French toast, both were good. The skillet was very well made with spinach, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms and asparagus spears. Eggs were well made. Originally…read morewanted to go somewhere else in Johns Creek across from St. Ives, but ended up at Jam and Toast instead. Easily one of the most disappointing brunch experiences I've had in Georgia. They both had a 96-100 minutes wait time at 8am while this place was 15. The place was packed, but packed doesn't equal good. The table to my left had 6 people and barely anyone finished more than 30% of their food. The table to my right, another group of 4, also left most of their plates untouched and didn't even bother asking for to-go boxes. That honestly should've been my warning sign. Both were Korean customers which I suspect is also the owners and hostess. The 6 people left $5 cash tip. I ordered the "English Breakfast," which didn't feel authentic at all. The jam tasted off, and the pancake was bland and forgettable. My mom ordered the salmon eggs Benedict, and she almost never leaves food unfinished, but she couldn't even finish the two Benedicts. She's a pretty frugal person. The coffee was another disappointment -- almost $9 for two drip coffees that tasted like gas station coffee. Service was also painfully slow from start to finish. I can name several brunch spots in Georgia that are miles better: Hen Mother Cookhouse, Egg Harbor Cafe both in JC, Buttermilk Kitchen, The Select in Atlanta , and Mama's Boy in Athens ga . All of them have better food, better consistency, and are actually worth waiting for or even driving there. I believe the all star breakfast at Waffle House tasted better.

I was a little nervous because it was a Hot Dog and Burger place with a whole lot of other things like seafood, bbq pork, chicken wings and more, I was worried the cheesesteak would not be as good as it should be. Wow! What a find!…read more While out shopping, I got a craving for a great hot dog and did a quick search. The Dawg House popped up with outstanding reviews, so I decided to check it out. When I arrived, I was pleased to discover it's a family-owned business. One thing that immediately stood out was the extensive menu. While they're known for hot dogs, they also offer gyros, cheesesteaks, wings, and more. Despite all the tempting options, I stayed true to my craving and ordered one of their eight specialty hot dogs. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed! The hot dog was absolutely delicious, and the fresh tater tots were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and made a great side. While waiting for my food, I spoke with a few customers in the dining area, and they were all repeat customers who couldn't stop praising the food and service. The wait was a little longer than expected, but it was completely worth it. The food was fantastic, and the customer service was even better. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. I'm so glad I found The Dawg House, and I have no doubt you'll feel the same way after your first visit!
