This place has closed and is out of business. The space is for lease. The world is a better place for it. If you're interested, just read a few of the reviews. It's amazing they lasted as long as they did. They were grossly incompetent and tried to add not-needed parts and services to the bill once they got your car apart. This is a bad shop, and after two plus incidents where they didn't fix the car and charged me a whole lot I've committed I'm not going back. The most recent episode was simply infuriating because they changed good parts, didn't fix the noise, and recommended seven repair actions the car does not need, and I didn't ask them to look at that in the first place. The car is GM and has 50,000 original miles on it. It's tight, and it's never been hit, and the wear on it looks like 50,000 miles. There was a bumping noise is the right strut which I still have. I drove it with the manager and he said he knew what it was. I get a call about four hours later that it needs a lower control arm. I was skeptical about that but I went over and looked at it, and let them replace it. That's when the "pick the chicken" procedure was unleashed on me. Their technician reports cracks in the belt, recommends fill and flush the brake fluid and power steering fluid, the cabin air filter, and he's telling me there's play in my tie rod ends. They have already disassembled the car, and he's trying to convince me they can't take it to the alignment shop with play in the tie rod ends. They were quite disappointed with me when I would not agree to as much as a dime more than we had talked about. When they told me they can't align it without new tie rod ends I told them just put it back together and I'll take care of the alignment. We don't change brake fluid or power steering fluid, period. My 1995 car still has it's original fluids in both of those systems. The serpentine belt on this car is in very good condition, and those things are known for living 100,000 miles. So what if there's cracks in it? The cabin air filter doesn't do anything to begin with, but it was changed a couple months back. It was very obvious to me this is an effort to gouge the gullible customer who doesn't know what's going on under the hood. I spent $400 on a lower control arm that didn't remedy my noise, and had to put up with this other song and dance about 10 things I did not ask them to look at. I really didn't appreciate the efforts to force me to buy more steering parts citing it can't be aligned if I don't. I got the car home and went over their recommended list and found everything normal for a 50,000 mile car. Particularly the engine belt - if there were cracks in it they are supposed to be there because inspecting it proves up this car does not need any such thing. I never asked them to check the car over or to go plundering through it looking for things to sell the customer. I asked them to remedy a noise, which they didn't, and they changed a good part with no trouble on it resulting in more labor actions to bring the car back into spec when it wasn't out of spec to begin with. This is the third time I've given this shop a chance and they charged me a lot and didn't fix anything. They are very prone to taking wild guesses when they don't know what to do and charging the customer for it. They charged me a whole lot to go into the engine on another car and it too came home with the same problem I took to them in the beginning. The handwriting is on the wall that I need to stay out of there. But, what roasts me the most is their attempt to oversell everything, and to see how many dollars they can extract from the gullible. There should be legal penalties for that and unfortunately there is none. Even though access to them is easy, they never fix anything, and I've got to remember better going forward. IF you replace a bunch of good parts the customer never knows that what was removed was in plenty good enough shape and didn't need anything. Cracks in the belt doesn't mean anything. Dirty brake fluid doesn't mean anything. I don't know what criteria is used to tell the customer they need to change the power steering fluid, but whatever it is I'm guaranteed is junk science. My other car is 25 years old with the same power steering fluid it was given at birth. This is a bunch of nice people, but their motivations, and their morals are all in the wrong place. It used to be a bunch of good technicians from Barbara's Texaco, but every one of those techs has left, and it's evident. Don't go there. read more

I had been bringing both of my cars here for years. Staff is constantly changing and last time I brought my vehicle in I asked them to fix my window, give oil change and inspection. They called my 4 hours later to tell me my car was ready. When I arrived nothing had been done. They told me I would have to go to dealership to fix the window and that they couldn't change my oil because they couldn't get to the filter, (they have supposedly been changing it since I bought the car!). Inspection wasn't done either. They told me there would be no charge! Well no sht thanks! And to boot they told me the power steering pump was bad. Might I add they had told me the same thing about my other car a month prior. I will not be returning. read more

Worst customer service ever. Went in for an oil change and they ended up breaking my radiator. Save yourself time And go somewhere else.

I've brought my cars here for oil changes several times. The employees are polite and professional. Their prices seem fair/comparable to what I've paid elsewhere. They work fast--even in the pre-holiday rushes I've never had to wait more than an hour. But the thing that keeps me coming back is that I never feel like they've never tried to up-sell me or convince me to purchase a service/product I didn't need. I appreciate the fact that I never feel like I've been screwed or fast-talked. They also do state inspections and some repairs--I plan to bring my car here for those services, too. read more

Took car in for simple trans cover and trains fluid recap and they gave my car back with a broken transmission when it was fine before I took it in. The cost to fix a lifetime transmission is about 16k. Needless to say, that totaled my car out right after I paid it off. They will never get. Any of our cars back or any referrals!!!! read more

My deceased husband and I have used this company over 15 yrs and we have always trusted them and they did good work for a fare price. Feb 20th my truck had been on the lot several days, 21st city tagged it, 22nd I called and a work ticket was opened with notations that it wouldn't start. On the 23rd the city came back and the truck was towed. Main Lane's owner Chris Lane says he's not responsible to get it back to his lot. My thought is once a work ticket was opened on it, it became their responsibility; they should have talked to the City man again, taken the sticker off the window, like they said they did and should get it back. The tow fee is best $700 now and the owner is not responding to . Is it because the truck was on his lit taking up space, don't think so, the lit is huge, is it because I'm a woman???? Maybe that's it. I'm still hoping Chris Lane will do what's right... I'll let you know. read more

Been bringing my truck here for a while. Usually in and out for an oil change in about 30 minutes. I come every month (I drive a lot) and it's never more than $40. Seems like someone new is in charge every time I come in. This latest change in management is the worst. I arrived at 8:00 am this Saturday morning (when they are supposed to open) and no one showed up to unlock the door until about 10 after. I walked right in, filled out my paper work and he took my keys. 8:45 now and I'm still the only one in the waiting room. Manager decided to walk across the street to the gas station and on his way out said "thanks for waiting we are almost done with your truck." ..... interesting because I'm looking at my truck and it hasn't moved from the spot it was in since I pulled up. 9:10 now- one whole hour and 10 minutes since I pulled up, still the only person here, and they finally took my truck back. (Remember? the truck that was almost done without having even moved from my parking spot 25 minutes ago?) 9:19 and a man just came in asking for a oil change and he told him it wouldn't take long. Poor guy. 9:47 and said gentlemen decided to leave. 9:51 and they tried to charge me for full synthetic that I didn't ask for after making me wait for 2 hours. 9:59 walking out of these doors for the last time. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I came here to help my grandma with her car. They claimed it was ready however "weren't sure" when we arrived. On top of that were extremely rude. Rest assured I will be taking my business elsewhere next time. read more

I took my car to Main Lane on Saturday Oct. 5th, 2019 stating that I thought I needed a new battery because my car was having trouble starting. Christine opened the hood and ran some tests with a hand held device and said that it was not my battery, but my alternator. So I paid $381.00 for a new alternator. I picked my car up later (it was already running) and drove it home. On the following Monday I started it to go to work and it had the same problem of not wanting to start. I dropped my car off on Wednesday and Christine calls me to tell me I now need a new battery, that the new alternator made the battery go bad. She was supposed to take my old alternator to O'Reilly's to have them check it on their machine. She said she did, but had no documentation to prove it. So now I have to buy a battery at $190. I feel like I was sold something that I did not need. It was the battery all along. They would not do anything to give me my money back. read more
