We are visiting from Texas and this place is very nice we need one back home we're definitely coming back

Brought my family here to celebrate a birthday. Every game we played was broken or out of order. The staff was friendly. The restrooms were trashed and out of toilet paper. read more

Woohoo!!! Talk about a fun spot to go! I tagged along with a friend whose daughter was having a birthday party at Main Event this past weekend, and I may or may not have let my inner child run rampant. I probably had more fun there than the kids, haha! I mean, when you walk into a ginormous place that has bowling, arcade, laser tag, pool tables, air hockey, food, drinks (yes, a full bar as well), what more can you ask for?! The first thing my friend and I noticed was how big and spacious it was... the second thing we noticed is that, even though there were a bunch of kids running around, the place smelled fresh and clean! I've been to other places where it's not pleasant being there because the ventilation is not the greatest and let's face it -- a bunch of kids running around, some still in diapers, etc... I think you get the point. But this place was NOT like that! It was fresh and super clean (thanks Main Event staff! Gold star for you!) While the kids were bowling, we sat up at the bar and ordered a Pineapple Mojito (I'm not sure that's officially what it's called, but it was a mojito and had pineapple juice in it). We asked our bartender not to make it too sweet, and she nailed it!!! It was sooooo delish! We also ordered some chicken wings that were amazing (there was too much skin on some of them, I thought, but yummy nonetheless). One thing I'd like to see management bring out with the chicken wings though is the little hand wipe towelettes that usually come with them -- they were a bit messy. Maybe? Perhaps? Then we played some games with the kids and had pizza (which again was pretty dang good! Not cardboardy or fake-tasting, and baked just right). The prizes the kids can "win" with their tickets are cool as well. Definitely a fun place to bring the family and/or friends to hang out, especially in the summer when it gets a wee bit too hot out during the day. Highly recommend! read more

This is your one stop shop for fun! They have everything from bowling to a ropes course to laser tag all with a full bar for adults! Me and my friends went on a Saturday night and only had to wait about 20 minutes for our bowling lane ($36 an hour). Each group is given a server and the food is worth purchasing- I'd recommend the meat pizza! We also played one round of laser tag ($8 per person) and a few arcade games. It's a great place for a party or a night out with friends. I had to deduct a star though for our server. She definitely didn't want to be there and it showed. read more

This place is new so it's very clean and quite spacious. It doesn't seem to have as many games as Dave & Busters, but I like it for it's clean atmosphere and hardwood flooring. There is also a bowling alley there $34/hour plus $3.50 to rent shoes. So it can get pricey - 6 people max to a lane. They also have a slew of tables to host birthday parties and a nice pizza restaurant, too. The hubs takes our son to Dave & Busters often and said though this place is cleaner, D&B is much cheaper and has more variety for games. We probably won't go here that often as it is quite a drive for us but were meeting friends there this particular day. read more

I always pass by this place and finally walked in to check it out. I got a 35$ game card which came with an extra ten bucks. That lasted my friend and I two hours of play time. My favorite was the 3d shooting zombies game. It's pretty intense. The game comes with 3d glasses but one of the glasses were broken and cracked. I hope that gets fixed soon. Another game that's pretty cool was the battle royale pacman game! It gets pretty intense with four players. I also love the esthetic of this place. The bowling balls were all color coordinated ad gives the place a really nice contemporary feel. read more

At first I thought this place was awesome...then they sell you on a wristband package to be able to do unlimited activities there. Sounds great right? But you don't know what surprise you're in for! We had a group of 5 all purchasing the wristband spending about $125. A couple reasons why this place is getting a bad review. 1) it's not even busy and they tell you 2 hour waiting listen to bowl. 2) it's not really convenient to order food and keep getting moved around and move lanes if you're bowling. 3) no one really has all day to get on a wait list, so that is where they rip off your party. 4) the service is just ok 5) it's actually cheaper paying for what you want to play. For example, we bowled 3x, it would have only been $90 average instead of getting the wristband. It's not busy and they make you wait 2 hours! Wow! Rip off! See the photo! read more

Such a disappointing experience honestly. I've been to main event with my family for years and I haven't encountered an issue before. Today I went with my family from out of town and all the staff was rude and not willing to help. My first experience was when I first walked in to buy a wristband. The man who was helping was not very nice, I asked about packages and how much it would be today and he was rushing and didn't seem to want to answer my questions. My second experience was getting ready to do laser tag. We asked to be put down and a woman rolled her eyes and acted like she didn't want to help. My third and final experience was when I took my sister to go get a cup of ice. We went to the kitchen and stood there for a few minutes while the employees looked at us but didn't acknowledge or try to help us. Finally an employee looked by us and said "I would go to the bar" Instead of asking us what we needed or offering help. I spoke to the manager and she apologized and was nice about the situation, although I appreciate her I was really disappointed in the main event experience considered I paid to go have fun with my family. read more

My company had a team-building event here. The service, food, and drinks were great. We had a great time bowling and playing laser tag. The bowling area is very clean, and we liked the option to have our pictures on the screen for each person's turn. The laser tag area was larger than I expected. We probably looked ridiculous to the kids playing in there, but we loved it. read more

Main Event is a blast. Pricey, but a blast. Main Event is a Dave and Busters style entertainment complex principally featuring bowling, laser tag, a rope climbing course, and arcade games. The place is rather high end, but not excessively so- theres table side service at the bowling alley, but not to the extent seen at posher places (a welcome relief, multiple course meals need not be at a bowling alley). Thankfully, everything is super clean. The price of entry here can be on a per-game or unlimited pass basis. The former is about $6/person for laser tag or ropes and $26/hour for bowling or something like $40+ per person for unlimited. In other words, you can easily make things cheaper with the unlimited pass, if you have the stamina. The food here is good for bowling alley food. I would not want anything simpler or more complex. I tried the garlic fries, which were slathered in butter. Normally, that would be a problem... but they were delicious. There is also lots of alcohol available, though I wouldn't recommend drinking it in conjunction with some of the more energetic games (e.g. laser tag). The laser tag here is manic and fun. I couldn't help but shake the idea that some people were way into it and played it way too much, but that added to it. It was fun to get my butt kicked! Note, however, that the place had major stank - some people had overwhelming BO. Bowling was great. The lanes were excellent, the machines fast and fun, and the software on the scoreboard was entertaining (you can take pictures and get statistics!). The arcade games are good but could be better. No DDR, but Pump it Up was present. Lots of ticket games, which are kinda lame. The driving games were a blast. All machines are retrofitted with credit card like readers, which might have been done to add price - a single driving game was $1.75(!) All in all, this place was an expensive blast. read more

If you are looking for good food, keep looking. The easy self seating service has gone away for a much more complex waiting area, even if you can clearly see empty seats. The menus have been removed for a convoluted QR code menu that, while normally useful, combined with the bad internet, is nearly impossible to use. The portion sizes have been decreased dramatically for the same price. The burgers have sauce placed directly on the bottom bun making it nearly impossible to eat as it immediately falls apart. The tablets they are using to take orders seem to be from 2013, and are incredibly slow and unresponsive. The only reason it's getting two stars, is because the employees are very good at their job and they are not at fault. My mother has said that even McDonald's has better food, and she hates McDonald's. The arcade? Like most modern arcades, is practically child gambling pretending to be fun. read more

We had such a great experience for my sons 5th birthday!! Evelyn and Trinity were amazing! The pizza was delicious and we didn't have any problems with the games. 10/10 recommend having your child's party here! read more

This was my second time visiting this location and it was worse than our first visit. I decided to give this place a second chance after moving here but, once again, my fiancée and I waited at the bar for 10 minutes before anyone so as far as greeted us. The managers were across the bar watching the game and avoided eye contact as if it would cost them their life. The place was dead and i can see why with the customer service that is close to nonexistent at this location. Management sets the example for this type of service and this is something that should be addressed. I will not be coming back and I will warn my coworkers and family members so they can avoid this place at all costs. Dave and Busters will be our go to from here on. read more

The website makes it look vast and extremely busy. However it is quite small and there really isn't a lot for a large group to do if you don't like bowling and you don't want to pay $1 to $2 per video game. We drove an hour to celebrate our son's birthday with people who live in the area and it looks like a bust. The building is lovely and the games are bright and engaging. There are a handful of pool tables that have been claimed by very poor players who don't intend to leave any time soon. The staff is friendly. The prices are steep and I am not convinced it is worth it. read more

I was invited here to go bowling with coworkers. When I arrived I got my pass and let the host know we were on lane 6. He gave me my bowling shoes and said I could join them. I get to lane six and waited to be added and it never happened. When I went back up and ask why he said they have a waitlist now and I had to be added to the wait list. Smh what a bait and switch. They also ended the current game my coworkers were playing and we couldn't order food or drinks from the lane either. I went up to the bar to get colors light draft and the bartender went to get it and the line was frozen. He offered the bottles but draft is obviously the better deal... Didn't offer anything else because of it. We ended up ordering the Cinnamon sugar donut holes and they are ehhh. The chocolate was a nice touch. No napkins at the tables and the server didn't bring any when she served the donuts. Just a big L all around. We didn't bowl or play any games. Hoping to get a refund as I'm very disappointed with the service provided by this establishment. So I talked to Mike at the front desk regarding a refund as we weren't even there an hour and didn't do anything. He was kind and understanding and apologetic. He said they don't offer refunds but in return offered credit. Didn't really want credit as we had no plan on coming back. We explained how we were here to bowl and the situation. He offered to bump us up to the front now and tossed in arcade passes. We accepted the offer by this time it was past 11pm. We played the free throw game a few rounds and then saw Jurrasic Park. That game was the only thing I enjoyed. My coworkers had their name on the bowling list and they were paged. We got our shoes again and went to lane 3. Lane 4 still had trash and drinks sitting on the tables. Finding the right size ball took a better part of 10 minutes. They were all sitting in the ball returns on the empty lanes. We bowled 5 frames this time it was almost 1am and my girlfriend was tired and upset with the evening. We left and my coworkers stayed. When we dropped off our shoes the hand sanitizer was out. I went to wash my hands in the men's bathroom and the paper towels were out. I am dissapointed with my first impression of this establishment. I hope they figure things so other guests don't experience what I experienced. read more

It's a fun place to go but buying a gift card is kind of deceptive. You can only use it when your Physically there. So you cannot reserve a lane and pay for it ahead of time with the gift card. They might want to update their technology. Don't sell gift cards if they're highly restrictive. read more

My friend, Cooper had to wait about 30 minutes for his chicken tenders and he still hasn't gotten them.

We hoped that going on a Tuesday afternoon would mean less people and it appeared that way when we arrived. After going inside and playing $50 worth of games, it was apparent it's empty because it's just not good. Every game we played was faulty in some way. Some only had 2 balls, skee ball just stopped returning the balls and left us unable to finish the game. The 18 credits we wasted on a shooter video game had the screen blacked out entirely but wasn't marked as out of order. The floors by a basketball game were so sticky it nearly pulled my shoes off. Will never return to one of these again, but the memories from this visit will last forever. read more

Only reason it doesn't get five stars is because the first time I came there was a great bargain and the second time I came I had to pay triple the price for the same attractions! Laser tag is super fun-- must try! Gravity is for those brave souls who like to suspend themselves while walking across planks. Bowling has a nice twist as you get to take photos and cute little videos play as you get strikes, spares and gutter balls. Good for a date or a big group because there's so much to do! They also have arcade games, a bar and pool tables. Lots of big screen TVs with sporting events playing. read more

I took my son out on Halloween to this place The Main Event. This was the poorest experience ever! My son and I are having fun playing the games. Until its time to order food. I order a beer at the bar the gentlemen stated that he let my server know and for me pick out a table. I do so and waited. The waitress said she be right there as she walked pass my table to go talk to her friends who sat after we did. So I sat and sat and sat some more as the corny manager walks pass twice without saying a word. Now let me tell you I sat over 15 minutes. So that young little girl of a waitress needs to get her priorities together. Take care of business before you go being social. And the manager get some customers service skills. Wont be back... Grossed out... And walked out! read more

This place is a rip off. We paid $46 for a family of 6 for laser tag. One of the guns wasn't even working and when we asked the guy to give us more time he made up some excuse why he couldn't do that. They also only give you 6 minutes for laser tag. read more

Main event has advertised 7.99 all day game play. Sounds like a great deal to bring the kids and let them play for awhile. Once you get here or if you read the fine print on the ad you find out it is only for bowling, pool, laser tag or gravity ropes. And it would be 7.99 all day for each. THIS DOES NOT ALLOW for video arcade game. They are super expensive for what you get. I think dave and busters or even peter piper pizza would be a better choice. The last time we came here they allowed us to buy a hour of video games but i guess they canceled that deal. read more

Fantastic service, Logan was our server and he was attentive and extremely helpful! The food was delicious I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews on the food it was great! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was fire! It was sooo good definitely recommend trying! My kids opted for the boneless wings and they were also very tasty. Ambiance was great, super fun vibes and upbeat energy! Great game selection my kids had a blast. Bathrooms weren't super clean, however I find most public bathrooms aren't the cleanest so I'm still giving them 5 stars read more

The number of young employees there walking around with AirPods in their ears and texting on their phones while customers ask for help astonished me. Watching three employees stand behind a counter on their phones, instead of offering help to customers shows where customer service has gone. This seems to be a big place for birthday parties for kids, and hope of those parents are paying that kind of money for a party the employees cater to those groups. But there clearly is a lot of families there not for a party, but just a day out and not a large party. The food service was subpar, but the food was not bad. Really needs some management/employee training to remember no customers, no job. read more

Went here with my work team for a team outing and we had a ton of fun! Just be careful though because this place has potential to be a little bit of a money pit. Some of the arcade games are a little expensive to play and you can blow through $40 in a matter of a few minutes. The laser tag was tons of fun even though I got hurt playing it. For what this place cost to visit, you would think they would have better and faster service. Getting a drink at the bar takes an unusually long time. Especially on a Wednesday around 5pm. I thought this place was great! I got the summer pass & felt as though I got my money's worth. Bowling atmosphere was great. We played around with their camera option on the bowling monitors. Laser tag was fun, but they didn't give out official start times so I felt as though the game wasn't fair or didn't have official "sides". (Hey laser tag is competitive). Ropes was fun too We only ordered the thai wings & parmesean garlic fries. Those were so good!!! If I were to complain about anything, it would be the price of their drinks, but then again I'm from Michigan so I don't know how things price out here in Arizona. read more

We decided to bowl here during our visit to Phoenix/Tempe. They feature current arcade games, billiards, laser tag, gravity play, and bowling. They have a restaurant and serve food and drinks at the lanes as well. The waitress was very friendly and checked in on us twice, although we did not end up ordering food. The complex is very clean (even saw an employee scrubbing down the arcade games) and features music and fun lighting effects at the lanes. I like how they had the bowling balls organized by weight and size; very organized and easy to find what you want. Cons: We waited to be helped at the counter and several staff members saw us and didn't come over to help. We paid $30 for one hour of bowling, which seemed a bit steep. read more
