I requested that this automotive electrical shop, which holds itself as capable of performing RV-related work, assist with a minor electrical installation. I needed to have 3 electrical breakers moved from the main panel to a new electrical sub-panel. No repairs, no corrective work; just simple installation. I even provided essentially all of the components need to perform the work. I was promised that work would be done in 2 days. It took over a week for this work, which could have been done in a few hours by a skilled technician. I was charged for 17 hours of labor amounting to $2,000. When I complained about the bill, the manager retorted: "IF YOU WERE NOT SUCH A SMALL GUY, I WOULD HIT YOU RIGHT NOW AND TAKE YOU OUT." After I paid the bill, he still refused to give me my keys.
