Before calling maid pro we were using Molly maids and in the beginning they did a great job but we were noticing the quality of work was diminishing little by little to the point where we felt they were just "calling it in" so we decided to find another route. While doing a little research we came across MaidPro and gave them a call. We explained the issues that we were having with Molly maids and we were told "yes that is definitely not the correct way to clean, we will do a great job and our women will make sure everything is done right". In order to start a regular service we were told we need to start off with a quote wet deep cleaning" that would require three people for 2 1/2 hours totaling 7 1/2 man hours and this would cost $540. We agreed to this and couldn't wait to see the results. Needless to say, when arriving at home we were confused because it didn't even look like anything was done. And the few things that they did do were not done very well. I could not find any place where a "deep wet clean" was performed. The entire floor downstairs was not even touched! There were dead bugs on the windowsill. It felt as though somebody smeared armor-all all over the tables and then proceeded to use that same rag to wipe off a mirror! We contacted them to see about getting this done properly and we were told "we don't have time for that" and when they did send people to try to do what it is that we expected to begin with, they did a worse job than the first . One of the people that came to redo the cleaning told me that they were there for an hour, and did what they could, yet it was supposed to be 2 1/2 hours! And this second time that they came, she only had about 30 minutes available to do what needed to be done, which was basically not much. Especially when it is supposed to be a deep cleaning. They proceeded to send people over a third time and those people left us a note saying "I hope we did a good enough job in the time that we were able to be here" which says to me that They are pretty much squeezing us in. And no, it was not a big job! In the three times that they came here we were not able to get what it is that we originally paid for and they refused to refund us the money. My husband booked them and they charge me $450 dollars for a deep clean. This is after the clean. They were supposed to also do a load of laundry. None of this was done. They offered to come back to clean and noted they would call back the next day to possibly refund some money but never heard anything. Baseboards were not cleaned, large hair balls from dogs, didn't wipe down tables, didn't change sheets when given clean ones, didn't do laundry, and didn't clean tubs. I hired MaidPro to take care of my mother's home and they were only good about one thing - calling to set up the initial cleaning. Very responsive to my call, eager to set up the cleaning and get a routine established. Unfortunately their communication skills fell short after the initial calls. On the scheduled day of cleaning no one showed up during the 2 hour time window and NO ONE called. I called them to see "what's up" and they didn't even know the crew was running behind. They reassured me they would be there within an hour - and then 2 hrs later they showed up. Wasted our whole day. I don't live in this house but I visit regularly so I know what it needs. They were asked to just clean the common areas (not the bedrooms) because my mom's husband was not comfortable with that. They spent an inordinate amount of their time cleaning the refrigerator together (one person job in my opinion), yet left dirt/stains in the corners of the tile floors in the kitchen (I documented the spots to see if they would get in the corners and sure enough they did not) and they failled to wipe off the sticky spots on the kitchen wall (where clearly a soda had been dropped and sprayed a bit on the walls near the fridge). They called me during the cleaning because my mom's husband changed his mind and wanted the master bedroom and bath cleaned, resulting in an extra hour. What a waste - that room had already been cleaned the prior week so there is no way it took an extra hour to clean (nothing on the bed, nothing on the dressers, and nothing on the counters in the bathroom). They charged a great deal for the initial clean and it was sub par cleaning at best. However, since I'm not in Texas all of the time to double-check things, we scheduled them again for the next month. Once again - no show and then they said they would be available 3-4 weeks later. We have used MaidPro for several months and had numerous different cleaners, so the results varied. Some were less than satisfactory, appearing to be very "light" cleaning. However, Maid Pro was quick to address any issues that we reported. Recently, Racquel has been cleaning our home bi-weekly and our experience has completely turned around...she does an outstanding job! We've been very happy with our MaidPro service over the past few months that we've had service. While the service has been fairly consistent, there are some Pros that definitely stand out. I've been using maidpro for a month now and I'm super impressed with each and every clean. I have a dedicated pro her name is Kaylie and she is super hardworking and will go the extra mile to make sure you're happy with each clean. She's also very good with my dogs who can be difficult at times but shows patience and compassion and she brings some little dog treats each time she comes. Horrible job. I hired MaidPro to clean 3 bathrooms for starters. Cleaner did a horrible job. Bathrooms were half cleaned, master shower glass still had hard water stains on them, which I usually remove myself, shower faucet was not cleaned. Master bathroom cabinet was left with a lot of dust as was the upstairs bathroom. Kept spilling water on my bedroom wood floor that connects to the master bathroom, which I specifically asked that no water be spilled on the wood floor that is not supposed to be subjected to water. And to top it off, she did not understand english, so communication was poor. Quite aggravating. Will never hire or recommend them again. read more

I've used Maid Pro for several years, in two different homes. Rafaela does a very thorough job, is friendly and polite, and makes any little adjustments that we need over time. This used to be a 4-star rating. They did a great job for months and months. I really liked them. But I had several really poor cleanings in a row. Basically, surfaces were wiped off but not cleaned. Everything was cleaned around, but not under. The floors were also not cleaned well. So I complained and was told a supervisor would come check the next clean. Well, if a supervisor checked it, they didn't do a good job either. It was just as bad as the other cleans... And they left my front door open. That's just not acceptable. There are too many other options. :( read more

Over priced for what you get. Broke several items in the house and deep scratch on kitchen counter. Didn't tell me about the breakage or damage, I had to just find it. Difficult to communicate - they do not speak english. Talked to the manager regarding this and she implied I was lying about the damage. No adjustments or refunds. Don't. ever. use. maidpro. My house was left with dust everywhere, crumbs left all over my coffee table, they didnt vacum in the corners of my house, and "forgot" to clean my kitchen sink and my bathtub. After I pointed out all the places they "forgot' to clean, I made a phone call in another room, and they just left without cleaning anything. Wow. Extreamly over priced and the people that attempt to clean your house are weird. read more

I have used this service for over 3 years. Jeanna has been with me for most of that time. Not only is she sweet and friendly, especially to my 93 year old mother who lives with us, she takes special care to especially take care of any concern my mom might have. Jeanna has a real challenge with my home, as we have two 100lb dogs, and 4 kitties. On top of that the master bedroom is large and filled with a king size set of black lacquer furniture with large mirrors to the ceiling, Most would go running down the street before tackling such a dusting task, but Jeanna makes it sparkle and shine every time she cleans. Every room gets her special attention, and you can tell she has added her special touch to each room when she us through. If you are lucky enough to have Jeanna come to your home, you will ask for her return over and over again, and as long as it isn't on the days she comes to me, then she's all yours. My family and I have been using MaidPro for several years and we are always extremely happy with their service. Every time we use MaidPro, not one, but two very sweet ladies come to our home and are asking what they can do to help and go above and beyond. The most recent time we used MaidPro, our house really needed a good cleaning, as I had been taking care of my mother post-surgery. We had a basket of towels that had come out of the washer- the ladies folded them and put them away. We had a hamper of dirty clothes in one of the closets- the ladies went ahead and washed them for us. We had the master bed sheets in the dryer- the ladies put them on the bed and made it for us. All without even having us ask! With two big, hairy dogs, and two shedding cats, there's never a hair in the house when MaidPro leaves. Jena has cleaned my house for a number of years. As another poster wrote, I also have a difficult house to clean as I have two dogs and four cats. Not only does Jena do an excellent job of vacuuming and cleaning the always present accumulations of pet hair, but she is always friendly, and always asks if she can do more, or if I have anything else I need her to do. I went through a period of time a couple of years ago with MaidPro when the level of service became erratic and I considered changing companies, but then Jena cleaned my house. At first I really liked the service and then it just went down hill. One week they did not even show up and I had to call them. They damaged my wall and have yet to fix it. I came home one day to see my kitchen sink still dirty. They charge more than most too and will not return your emails or calls!!! Horrible. read more
