I was excited to find a cleaning service which used organic and eco-friendly products as this is very important for my family. After a few challenges speaking with someone, my initial cleaning appointment was scheduled. The person arrived on-time, was very pleasant, and seemed to work very hard, which I greatly appreciated. When I went through to look over her work and prior to leaving, there were several things which were not cleaned well or, at all. My bronze brushed fixtures in both bathrooms were not cleaned, my granite-top counters still had grit on them (which admittedly you cannot see but, if you ran your hands over the tops it was obvious), and my table had clear stains. I mentioned them to the lady and she cleaned everything with no complaints. I texted the POC and asked to speak with her as, I need someone who is detail-oriented and this person did not seem a good fit. After back-and-forth via text, I finally received a call to convey all that occurred and to request another professional. I was assured the new person, "I would like her cleaning" and a new visit was scheduled. On cleaning day and to my surprise, two people arrived with the primary person late. There was no explanation as to why there were two people (I found out afterwards that one person was training a new employee although the trainee worked mostly alone and in the areas where I had the most issues), and they came in and after a walkthrough, began cleaning. As they were getting to the end, I walked through and took pictures noting things which needed further cleaning or initial cleaning. Before I could share with the cleaners what the challenges were, they were gone. They did not say good bye, did not leave the checklist I was promised, and there were several things which were not cleaned AT ALL: Kitchen & dining room floor, refrigerator and stove top (both stainless steel with smudges/fingerprints/food), mirror in my daughter's room clearly was not cleaned, my guest bathroom mirror and sink were not cleaned...I was not happy. One of the things which gave me pause prior to scheduling the first cleaning is the insistence on payment prior to services rendered. I have used professional cleaners before and usually payment is rendered at the completion of the cleaning or your card is charged once confirmation of the customers satisfaction. My experience with service companies is, awaiting payment is sufficient incentive to ensure the satisfaction of the customer. I sent in photos (this is a requirement before they will even speak to you about re-cleaning) via text that evening and received an email the following day...an email reply not a phone call, which I was unable to review until the weekend. The email stated they could schedule a re-cleaning on the upcoming Monday morning at 9AM but by the time I replied on Sunday, I was told Wednesday afternoon is all they have open as the other openings were filled. My life is way too busy as a single parent with a highly demanding job to continue with a service provider which clearly has challenges so, I cancelled any re-cleaning along with any future cleaning with Organically Maid. I did receive an email stating I probably needed a dedicated housekeeper (along with some story about having a short office staff which was in reference to my concern about communications) as my needs are very specific. I need the things I am paying for done, and done properly. No one pays for services which are partially completed or left undone and it would have softened the blow if they had offered some portion of my payment returned as, nothing about the service I received on 2/6 was professional! I never spoke to or heard from the owner and wondered how aware of these things they were. If they were not, they should be now and hopefully it will mean better service for customers in the future. read more

After the Customer Service rep replied to my review, it further indicates that they do not listen and/or are not aware of how lacking the service was. If I paid for two hours, then I should get two hours of cleaning, not have to clean along with their maid, doing more than their maid does, Etc. but yet pay for the services I left twice and came back twice and almost nothing on the prioritized list was accomplished and the one area I told them not to do they did anyway and left it messed up, so clearly there's a communication, quality and ethics problem here. If at the end of two hours, they have accomplished almost nothing and have to rush to get things done when I'm there to do anything at all. then told by the manager it's been two hours and to leave, I have a problem with that. What did I pay $80 for? To do it myself? Apparently. I am not upset that I will not use them again. I would not dream of it -so instead of having a coined response, listen to your customers and improve your service. And having a non-timed service whether post construction or not if there's an issue with ethics is not a good idea. Only when someone earns your trust, would you ever dream of doing that. And post construction, I had already cleaned up and so had my contractor the bulk of everything -all they had to do is simple cleaning tasks like a make ready. My husband and I hired Organically Maid to deep clean our house we just bought before officially moving in. I had heard great things but in the end was disappointed. Organically Maid sent two maids to do a deep clean of our home, and they did a solid job overall. However, our kitchen cabinets and drawers were not cleaned out at all. Organically Maid has a 24 hour window where you can let them know if something hasn't been cleaned properly, so I reached out and they responded promptly and sent someone out the next day to remediate the situation. However, the next day right after they remediated the kitchen situation I was doing a walkthrough of the home taking measurements of various rooms for furniture and noticed a nail in the master bedroom. I know for a fact the deep clean we paid for included a vacuuming of all the rooms. At this point we haven't really moved anything into the home or done any renovations/furniture building because nothing we ordered at that point had arrived so far, so I know for a fact it wasn't our fault that there was a random nail in the master bedroom. However, at this point it was too late to have the company remediate the situation as the 24 hour satisfaction guarantee had expired. I'm really disappointed with the overlooked items during our deep clean. We paid over $500 for the deep clean before we officially moved in and I completely understand deep cleaning an entire home is a lot to do in one day even with two maids working together, but the overlooked items were really mind boggling given our kitchen is HUGE and none of the drawers and cabinets were cleaned. Additionally, we brought our dogs with us the day I found the nail. Our puppy would've at least tried to eat it if she found that nail before I did. My husband and I were considering hiring a maid service to come in a few times a month since we both work full time and are too busy to clean most of the time, and Organically Maid did not meet expectations to be that maid service. read more

Had a terrible experience with them. I adjusted my work schedule to accommodate the fact that they said they only do first time cleanings at 9A, so ok. But then no one showed up and no one called. When I called them to find out what was going on, chaos ensued, and long story short, they sent in a back up person with not enough time to really do the job. They insisted it would be fine, but it was not fine. Possibly the worst cleaning job I have ever had especially considering I paid $250. It was so bad that when I eventually got an email from the company over a week later, I asked them if the person actually knew what service they were supposed to be doing. They seemed not to really care and showed no interested in making it right. I haven't heard anything from them since. They will rip you off and, if they show up, will do a terrible job. read more

before we moved into our new home from LA, i was excited that i found a cleaning company that specifies using all organic products. so excited i decided to book them prior to my arrival so my family and i would enter a clean house when we arrive in dallas. since i still had carpenters working in my master closet, i didn't expect the house to be 100% clean, i even told organically maid to leave the master room last. they started at 10am and ended around 130pm. they called me to let me know that they couldn't work on my master room because the carpenters were still working in the closet before the finished the whole house. at that time, i agreed, i could deal with just a dusty room instead of a dusty house. by the time when i entered the house the next day, it was like organically maid never even cleaned the house at all. granted that i had my carpenters working in the master closet, i'll accept the excuse from Aly, the owner, that dust from the woodwork would travel everywhere. what i didnt understand was how the dust traveled into closed drawers on the 2nd floor while my master room was on the first floor. Also THICK THICK THICK dust ona 2nd floor bedroom window's inside screen with wiping marks of a half ass job. i seriously didn't think that while woodwork dust could travel, the dust would decide to land on the window screen with such of a pattern ‍ after i called and complained the next day, Aly, the owner, blamed it all on the carpenters' job in my master closet. she offered to come in sometimes during the next week for an hr to help me wipe clean my counters and floor. I refused, since the day i called was a monday, i couldn't wait till the following week to have someone come in during covid just to wipe clean my counters. I rather wipe my counters myself, vacuum, mop, and clean by myself too. Organically clean isn't cheap... with that kind of price, i really expected a better job. it was my mistake to hire someone without being in town to see how they work. i paid for my lessons and hope that others would learn from my mistake and choose wisely in the future. read more

The office is respectful and kind, but told me my standards were too high for them after I complained that my maid - both the first and second time she was there - did not pick up the door rugs to mop the kitchen and halls. I have been using Organically Maid for over 9 months. I was a repeat customer, starting with weekly cleans and then moving to monthly cleans during busy travel times. I know I paid over $4,000 during our 9 month tenure with them as a business. We moved out of our house, cancelled the routine cleaning, but scheduled one more move out clean. I had planned on using them when we moved into our new house, but timing is unknown due to the crazy real estate market. Due to the way they treated me as a customer after I cancelled the monthly cleaning, I will not return. The Tuesday before the Friday move out appointment, they cancelled my appointment due to lack of payment. I have spent over $4,000 with them and have never not paid. In the past, I could pay the day before or even the night before and had no problems. There was a clear difference in the way they treated customers once you cancel the routine service. Its a shame because I would have used them in Dallas, which much more frequent cleanings, but will no longer be using their services. I would not recommend this company... their customer service could use some work. They also need to revisit their policies... if they are going to demand payment 4 days in advance of a service, perhaps they should consider holding cards for busy professionals who cannot make a payment within an hour of them texting in today's busy world. read more

I have 3 dogs and 2 birds which is a lot to handle and keep track of and at times noisy. However the Organically Maid team has been very understanding and accommodating. Great first-time experience with Organically Maid! I booked their $79 two-hour tester. I received a three-hour time window to expect the maid, and then I received a text message saying the maid would arrive in the next 20 minutes. Keegan arrived promptly. I showed her around and gave a few instructions, and then she went straight to work. While I am pleased with the work performed. Many things on the deep clean list were not performed. The maids informed me I would be contacted about the unfinished work but in 24 hours I did not get contacted until I reached out. I am overall disappointed with the communication. I was refused a phone call to discuss the situation and felt blamed for many things in our house. Several things were my fault and I recognize that but accusation from the company on why the work was not completed is very disappointing and is not helpful. We were also scheduled 2 maids and while I understand things happen, it would have been nice to be informed of the situation along with the plan for a second maid to arrive. I feel over all this this company while has good intention is very hostile towards you if you don't give a perfect review. All in all I will be completing the work myself. read more
