I am so sorry to have to update my review... In the past months our favorite people have transitioned to office staff. While an exciting promotion for them, it was our loss. The cleaners sent in their place have been disappointing to say the least. Everything from grumbling to each other about how awful the work is, not being consistent to yelling f*** out when she dropped something. My sister and I used Maid Pro and we were very impressed. We have a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment that we don't have any time to clean, but manage to get very dirty! They sent two girls over and they took care of everything! Tub rings, toilet rings, picture frames, knick knacks- they even asked us what to concentrate on. After coming home from a business trip to an amazingly clean house I called them and set up monthly service. The first cleaning was a little expensive, but with every penny! This was the sixth company that we tried. And we are very happy to have them cleaning our house every week for more than a year now. What a difference from others! Vaughn, the owner, is very responsible, he is always available to talk, very professional in my opinion. If you don't like something the way team cleaned, you can always tell Vaughn and he will make it to never happen again. Everybody make mistakes, the way people correct them, that is what matters. If I found that they missed something, I give a call to Vaughn or send him a letter and he responds as soon as possible and next time it is fixed without any adittional fee. I don't believe in finding the cleaning lady or cleaning company that will do what you want and how you want it in your house right away. In my experience, it always takes some time. You need to "work" with them and help them to understand your needs. Vaughn and the ladies that are cleaning our house (Brittany and Lina) always waiting for my respond on how they did their job and I appreciate it. They never late, always do their job good and quick. First off, Vaughn was incredibly helpful and nice. My wife and I were looking for someone to clean our home, when I called, Vaughn was very helpful, answered all my questions and repeated all the important information. We setup a time for the cleaning crew to come in, when the crew finished, they left a note and a checklist of everything they did. The house was extremely clean, however there were a few places that they missed. My wife and I wrote them down in an e-mail and the next day I called Vaughn to tell him we were very happy with the service, however there were a few things wrong with it, we worked out a plan and a crew was sent over and they finished everything they had missed. Vaughn always kept his composure and dealing with him was worry free, he truly understands how to run a business. We will definitely use them again. read more

I have been using Maid Pro out of the Orange CA office for a while now and feel like they do a good enough job to deserve a 4 star review. I would say the only thing that frustrated me was their billing system and the fact that for the first several visits they couldn't get my show up time correct. They give a window of 2 hours that for the first few visits jumped all over the place when I specifically asked for 10am-12pm. Outside of that their staff is friendly and they do a good job. Their pricing is lower than most, but I don't feel like there is a substantial reduction in quality of service for the lower cost. I've moved on to a friend who has his own service that he is expanding in to my territory with, or I would probably stick with Maid Pro. Hope this review helps you out with your decision. read more

During the initial call to get service started I asked if references were available for the team that would be working our home - sure, not a problem at all I was told, we scheduled the start and I was told I'd get references soon. I called a few days later checking in on those references and was told, no this is not possible as we can't give away our clients contact info and he would need to get permission. I understand client rights and was not asking to speak to anyone who didn't agree to speak with me, and I expected if references were available when we were on the sales call that they would have already gotten prior approval. Being told no references were available I said I still wanted the service and would check the company out online. I was then told my appt was cancelled. I asked to keep it and we'll let the service speak for itself. I was told no, they do not want my business. I carry myself as a professional and was in no way rude or disrespectful on this call and my business was rejected. I'm not concerned with being rejected but more concerned why it was due to asking appropriately for assurance of reliability. We started using maid pro when we moved into our new home. The couple who lives here before did a lot of cleaning but not everything. Maid pro came in and made sure that the house was ready. I live up in the Silicon Valley area but needed a cleaning service for my son's house where he is going to college. MaidPro's were a dream come true! I scheduled the service with Vaughn. He was very organized and nice. I was nervous because (1) I don't live in the area, and (2) my son's house was going to be a challenge. He gave me a quote and called the day before the scheduled cleaning to confirm timing. The cleaning crew arrived, Juanita and Melissa--they were unbelievable! I had told them that a I knew the bathrooms, in particular would be difficult, so just to do what they could to make them better. I am not exaggerating when I say that they scrubbed the toilets back to almost new! I was in shock! The guys that live in the house were shock! They cleaned every inch of the house including walls and scrubbed the floors. It was a small miracle. And all the while, they were such kind women! I even received a visit from an office staff member during the cleaning to reconfirm the cost, the expectation for how long it would take and to make sure things were going as scheduled. They are a very professional group at MaidPro and they really get the cleaning done! I will definitely use MaidPro again! Just got off the phone with someone from their company. I filled out an online quote and they called me back within 2 minutes which was impressive. When I asked him what they charge for their hourly rate he kept on asking me questions. He would never answer the question. Then he asked who referred me and I told him another company and he asked what they charge. I told him the price. He said he can't beat it. Then I asked him 4 more times what they charge hourly and he always just said we can't beat it. This guy was annoying. He finally answered my question after I had clearly explain I just wanted to know what the hourly rate was for their company. Ridiculous customer service. read more

Very, very poor job dusting, even after repeated requests that special attention be give to dusting due to allergies. I would find massive dust bunnies in corners and under the bed on the same day I requested that they clean them. The people at the main office we're nice, but the cleaners themselves were often rude. I received perplexingly nasty notes from the maids on two occasions. They arrived on time, but often left before they'd completed the cleaning. Would not recommend. read more

Very poor service. My fiance had to point out areas missed and they were upset at having to go back and do the job again. She had to clean the kitchen countertop herself after they left. Unvacuumed areas in the bedroom, and moved my sofa to clean (why would you move a sofa??) which caused my tv to fall down. Overpriced at $114 for a 1 bedroom apartment even for a 1st time cleaning, and the manager wouldn't even offer a discount for the poor service, just a bunch of apologies for no action taken.
