I recommended Maid Pro to a friend whose house needed a thorough cleaning because his wife has had serious health issues and hasn't been available to make those arrangements as she did in the past. I am sad to say, he and his two adult sons were very disappointed in the service done today (rather lack of service). He said a feather duster was used to dust the wooden shutters, so dust flew everywhere. The stick like vacuum with a small hand-held canister they brought and used was insufficient. They did not mop floors or dust tops of furniture. When my friend tried to call the manager there was no response. read more

Had to get one of my condos cleaned after a night of insane gathering. MaidPRO arrived on time and got to work immediately after introducing themselves (lady & male combo). They did a fantastic job, they even made me break a sweat just watching their hard work, I had to offer them a Gatorade/water. BONUS! They even cleaned some items that wasn't on the invoice. Overall I was very impressed with how well their time management was, the team finished the job before the estimated time. I just wished that I took before & after pictures but was too hungover from the night before, I will snap some pictures next time. BEWARE!!! I am absolutely disgusted with MaidPro in Orange. I hired them to clean my house and ended up having my jewelry stolen by one of their employees, Kim. I had been using MaidPro for 2 years and never had any issues until now. Kim had been working for me for a while and seemed trustworthy, but looking back, I realized that little things had gone missing before, like medications. I filed a police report and criminal charges against Kim, but when I contacted MaidPro about the situation, they refused to take any responsibility. They claimed that they had no control over their employees' actions and refused to compensate me for my stolen jewelry. I am appalled by MaidPro's lack of accountability and their failure to address the criminal behavior of their employees. I will never use their services again and I urge others to beware of the risks involved in hiring MaidPro. It's not worth the risk of having your belongings stolen by their untrustworthy employees. I've been using maidpro for a few months now and haven't had any issues, they are always on time they do a wonderful job and are very reasonable price wise. When I need to change my days they are more than accommodating to my schedule. We have had the pleasure of Zelene and Patricia the last time and they were efficient and prompt with their service. They clean the kitchen, the two bathrooms, my master and the living area. Mop the floors, dust, take out trash and leave my home smelling fresh and clean. Had an appt this morning between 10 and 12 and they showed up at 1158am. And the one lady that was part of the disaster crew we had just a month ago. A new guy that we had never seen before. Vaughn wanted to raise prices earlier this year, we get it. But for suspect people that come and go no thanks. If it was one of the better crews then no problem. I absolutely love all of our interactions with MaidPro. We get a text on Monday as a reminder, e-mail on Tuesday about what to expect and later in the day our window of arrival on Wednesday. Efran and Minerva arrive on time and do a great job on our home. The 1st service required a lot of elbow grease to whip our home into shape. Now when they come they just make the house sparkle. I consider it money well spent-they are professional cleaners and can do, within a couple hours what would take me all day and the job they do leaves excellent results. I would rate this company 0 stars if I could. I asked them for a move-out cleaning in the afternoon because we are moving out in the morning. A few days prior a girl calls to confirm a 10am-12pm cleaning which I changed to a 12-2pm cleaning. I called today (day before move out) to ask if they could show up closer to 1-2pm, to see if they could be flexible with me as I was with them ,in which they were completely inflexible. They said they would be there at 12pm and LEAVE if the apartment wasn't ready. I asked for an hour to see if I could move stuff around after they threatened to cancel my appointment. I hung up with them and they called me back and left a voicemail that they canceled my appointment. I found a cheaper and more flexible cleaning service whose customer service is not awful. The cleaning was done, but the dusting wasn't completely finished. I had to go over the cleaning to a the higher standards I have. The fridge was cleaned on the top and sink was cleaned, but the dish soap was placed in the sink. I paid $147, for an hour and half and it wasn't an hour and half worth of cleaning. They were good for the first few months. The normal scheduled times and dates started shifting when the original team "wasn't available". I had them scheduled for monthly cleaning for 1.5hours and the normal team did an exceptional job, every time. I was advised the normal team was not available and they sent another team of girls. Upon arrival, I was told they were only supposed to be here for an hour then they called the office to clarify. When the office staff advised the new girls they were supposed to be there for an 1.5 hours, one of them had a bitchy face and acted like it was torture. With about 15 mins left, they told me they were finished and when I told them they did not vacuum the carpet, I was told they are out of time. WTF! Surely enough that was my last time with MaidPros. read more

We were looking for a monthly cleaning service and thought we would try MaidPro. We were quoted $160 for 5 hours of work + additional Tip. Come to find they were only there for 3.5 hours. I was beyond disappointed when I returned from work to find basic cleaning issues as floors, fridge top and mirrors half way done, if touched at all. I called the Orange location and the receptionist is pleasant, but the boss can only return calls quickly if it is for a new sale... Save your money and time, get a referral from a neighbor for an independent housekeeper whom you can trust. read more

When I first contacted MaidPro to set up cleaning for the very end of my pregnancy and when my baby would be born, I was excited at how great price was and how nice they were. I specifically asked if MaidPro was good about arriving on time. I knew I would be staying at home and my schedule would need to take into great account for when MaidPro would get here. I was assured that yes-- if I asked for mornings, I'd get mornings and they definitely come in the time slot they say they will. I told the customer service guy that this is what I was most concerned about. For my first cleaning on August 1, I was given a 3 hour time slot for the team to arrive-- I spoke with MaidPro and was told that a) my team was still finishing up at another house because a long time client needed some extra things done b) wouldn't I want them to stay late if I needed extra things done and was a long term customer (thus implying because I was a new customer, I wasn't as important) c) he could give me a 15% discount and d) while this doesn't happen often, it does happen on occasion. They were about 3 hours late showing up. I filled out the feedback form discussing my experience (including the part about arrival times being import) and received an email saying that they will make sure this never happens again. On August 15, they scheduled the maids to come first thing in the morning, but they got lost. They did not call me or MaidPro to alert anyone to the fact they were lost. When they finally showed up, almost an hour later, I told them they could have called and they acted super shocked this was an option. I decided that since they were lost, I shouldn't be too upset that I had to wait longer for them. Fast forward to August 29, I was given a time slot and when they were late I called the office. The team was finishing up late for another customer and had failed to let MaidPro know. I was told that I should have received a call, but no one had called me. I was told they were 30 minutes away from me, but still needed to finish what they were working on. I again expressed my frustration and went over the fact that I was assured this wouldn't happen again, that I felt lied to and that I had scheduled things expecting them to be here and gone by a certain time, etc. The "solution" was they would schedule me for first time in the morning on my days so I wouldn't have to wait extra time and give me a 10% discount (as if $6.80 makes up for having to reschedule my entire day). Now today, I was assured they would be her first thing. I have been in slow early labor since Friday (it's Monday) and getting up and about to be ready in time for the team to get here was literally painful. Then I got a TEXT saying they were late and I had a new time if 1-2pm. I had NEVER given anyone permission to TEXT me. I don't even let my doctors office text me. I called MaidPro. I was told that the team had an emergency and had to go to the airport-- he was just notified. I understand that and I understand there's nothing he could do about it. I explained my frustration over the entire experience from feeling tricked, the assurances I'd been given, the fact that because I was a new customer I didn't seem to matter, etc, but he kept focusing only on today. I would not have been upset about today (an emergency is an emergency after all) if it were a stand alone incident. All he could do was ask them to come straight to my place from the airport. I hung up with him and called my husband. We decided that this is the last time we want to work with MaidPro-- I would have canceled today's, but if I don't have this baby today I have to be induced tomorrow and really need the house to be cleaned as I can't do much at this point. I called back and explained that we wanted to cancel all future appointments and was offered a free cleaning session for today and that MaidPro would do their best to make sure this didn't happen again. I explained, again, that I felt lied to and if MaidPro had just been honest and said that they don't typically make it in their time slots it would be an entirely different story. The reason they get as many stars as they do is because the teams do an AMAZING job and the cost is reasonable. If I were not home and was at work not knowing what time they came, I would probably give them a 5 stars. read more

I've been through several cleaning companies - I try to stick with official companies that are licensed and bonded since I leave them my keys and pay with a credit card. I've had bad experiences with about 4-5 either lazy cleaning, or couldn't keep the scheduled dates or were difficult to get ahold of. I LOVE MaidPro they always do an awesome job of cleaning my house, they're professional, responsive, licensed, bonded, will keep your key so you don't have to be home for them to come and allow you to pay and tip with a credit card on file. PERFECT. The cleaners are all very efficient, detail oriented and friendly. And Vaughn the owner is so responsive and easy to get a hold of. I have had other cleaning companies clean my house and none compare to Maid Pro. They clean the baseboards, door frames, and even the cupboard doors are wiped down! This is in addition to the vaccuuming, dusting, mopping, etc. I've even had them clean the windows and it's all been taken care of without any fuss or complaint. The cleaning teams are always professional, friendly, and courteous which I really appreciate, as well. Vaughn, the owner, is always respectful and kind whenever I speak with him. He handles things just like the pro he is. And during the time my mom was very ill, he was so accomodating with day changes. In addition, I received so many compliments on the Maid Pro teams, from nurses, friends, and family that would be visiting our house during that difficult time. MaidPro is amazing! I have had nothing but a great experience every time they clean my home- which it every other week. My husband and I both work long hours and it's so nice to not have to worry about spending our entire Saturday or Sunday (our days off) cleaning the house. I come home to a perfectly clean home just the way I would do it! Before I hired MaidPro I would clean my home every Saturday- mop the floors, dust everything, clean the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen, vacuum etc. We don't have a huge home (1800sq ft), but with the way I want my home to look it took over half the day for it to feel spotless and disinfected. Earlier this year my husband grew tired of spending the day cleaning and honestly so did I. He said, "Let's just see how much it would be to hire someone." So we checked out some places on-line. We tried two other services before we tried MaidPro, and boy were we happy when we found them! MaidPro was cheaper than the other two places we tried and they would clean during the day without us being home which is great for us! If I am forced to be at my home while they are cleaning it (like the other two places required) then it defeats the purpose to me. I might as well clean myself! However with MaidPro they do it while I am at work, so when I get off work I get to come home to a beautifully clean house. More importantly, I trust them in my home while I am not there. There was one incidence where a picture frame was broken when they were cleaning off a shelf. Stuff happens like that, I totally understand. But, I felt they really went out of their way to let me know about it and apologize for it. They left me a note explaining what happened and they even called me to ask what they could do. To me it was no big deal that it was broken, I just really appreciated all the effort they but in trying to fix the problem. I even have an inside dog who they are so good to! It's not a problem to have the dog inside while they clean which is great because I wouldn't make my dog stay outside all day anyways. I just appreciate that they are nice to him and aren't bothered by him being there. They fill out a form after they are done cleaning marking off everything they did etc and they also put notes on there. It made my day when they told me how much they loved my dog and how cute he is!! Definitely scored extra points for that one!! Vaughn is so wonderful. He is friendly and professional. I know that if I have any special requests or need to postpone my cleaning I can talk to him and it will be taken care of right away. All I can say is I don't think I will ever go back to cleaning my own home again!! Ha ha! My husband says it's the best decision we every made because it frees up so much time for us on the weekends now and I have to agree with him. They do a wonderful job, are honest, affordable, reliable, and are sweet to my dog- what more could we ask for? I will be using MaidPro for a long time, that's for sure! read more

Hooray MaidPro!! My family was blessed by the SoCal Happy Honda Helpers, yes they are real, and were gifted two months of weekly housecleaning by MaidPro. Our last cleaning was on Monday and I am so sad. Juanita and Susie were our cleaners and they were so amazing. They were thorough in our home, the blinds, the floors, the bathrooms, the kitchen, emptying trash, changing sheets, scrubbing baseboards... Top to bottom...just amazing. I have a newborn, a six year old, a small hairy dog and Chronic Progressive Multiple Sclerosis... So it has been so very hard to keep up with household duties... But having MaidPro was such a relief. I truly appreciated all their help and great service. Dec 2014...Just an update... After the two months of service gifted by SoCal Honda had ended...I realized that Juanita and Susie were very much missed and very much needed and so...we are continuing to use these wonderful ladies from Maid Pro. Hooray!!! Vaughn has been so wonderful and great to work with when scheduling these two ladies. We have cleaning done every other week and I am so grateful. When limbs are numb and aren't able to grip objects because of an illness...it is such a blessing to have someone that can come in and help clean what I am unable to; with a smile and quiet understanding. read more

The Maid Pro cleaning is very good. The teams that come out each month for me are friendly and pretty thorough. Scheduling is straightforward and the main office calls prior to remind you of your appointment. However, I had a bad experience where the cleaning team didn't show up until 2 hours past the scheduled time. Obviously, I could not wait even longer for the cleaning. I called the main office with the concern expecting a resolution and was greeted with a message saying they were closed. I left a message and nearly a week later I have yet to receive a response. I liked Maid Pro but I can't give my business to a company that does not consider my concern as important. I'd like to use them again but I don't feel feel they particularly care as evidenced by the non- response. Luckily, there are a number of other choices out there. Update: Vaughn from MP evetually called me back. Since the original incident, there have been no recurrences and his team has shown up as scheduled every time. Thanks Vaughn. read more

My husband and I have no messy children, but we do have 1 old dog and 2 young pups. You can imagine the dust and dirt they bring in and out of the dog door! The thing I love most about Maid Pro is their consistent cleaning, and always asking me if they should concentrate on any certain area. They are quiet, so friendly (ALL of them!) and one can always speak English, thank goodness. They work from a to-do chart, check everything off, and do a great job. But the best thing is, we always have rooms that don't need any care or have a big project going on in them...and I just shut the doors of the rooms I don't want touched. This is fantastic for me!! Whatever your special needs, just talk to Vaughn and he will add the job for a reasonable price increase. For example, they don't clean inside my toaster oven, so I'll request that this be added on. I was contacted immediately after inquiring for a price for my home and communication was consistent leading up to our house cleaning. Our house was dirty, we had a layer of dust on everything. Efran and Marisol did a fantastic job. They were efficient and cleaned things I did not expect like the inside of my toaster oven and vacuumed my velvet chair to have nice lines on it. I was so impressed with how detailed they cleaned and in a reasonable amount of time. I didn't feel that they were cleaning slow to stretch out the time at all and also didn't feel like it was a rushed job. The manager is great as well, he made it clear that if something wasn't to our satisfaction, they would come back free of charge to correct anything. Luckily, that didn't have to happen but it was nice knowing that was an option. Very trustworthy people, I would feel more than comfortable leaving my home while they are there to clean. read more

Very disappointed. No show for my 10-11 window today. When I called to find out when they were coming I was told I would receive a call back to confirm if appointment was for today or tomorrow. No call back. So I decided to start cleaning myself and called to just cancel since I had no clue if they would even show up. When I called Don the manager was very rude and said I had asked for a 3 o'clock appointment and since I just cancelled then oh well basically. His reason for not calling was to not wake my daughter with a phone call, it's a nice thought but if my child is sleeping and I'm waiting for a phone call I probably won't have my phone with me. I've already been waiting at home all day for their service to arrive. I'm 5 months pregnant and have a 2 year old with out of town guests arriving tomorrow morning. A phone call would have been the right thing to do, to at least tell me a time frame. I will never use this company again. As a business owner myself, this is not how you treat customers. read more

This has got to be the worst customer service experience EVER. If giving them negative stars was possible, I would've done it. We scheduled to have them come on Sat and they emailed us with a window of 12-2. I sat at home that whole entire day until about 6 and NO ONE SHOWED UP. At about 1:45 I started calling them and of course receive a message that says their office is currently closed and to call back during office hours. I continuously call from about 2-6 to see if someone would pick up but no one did. I then write them an email to ask why no one showed up and the first reply I get is that people did. When I tell him (Vaughn) that no, no one did he continues to argue with me that yes, maids showed up and knocked on my door and rang the doorbell. Several emails later, he is still insisting that his maid absolutely showed up and even left a note on the door. Considering how for some of the afternoon there were multiple people home and no one heard any knocks or doorbell and no one saw any notes on the door there was no way we could've accidentally missed it. We then ask him why no one called if they knocked and there was no answer, he says that the maids didn't have our phone number. Anyways, so after spending a lot of unnecessary time arguing with him about how no one showed up the only solution Vaughn offered us was "If you would like to try this again, the cleaning date needs to be Mon - Fri."
