We had a deep cleaning scheduled with a *different* cleaning company for my mom who was scheduled to come home from the hospital from cancer treatment. The company totally flaked on us. Sparkle and Shine was the first company I called and Jennifer was empathetic and luckily was able to get us scheduled within 2 days. They already serve the complex my parents live in so it just felt meant to be. She was communicative, kind, and helpful. We will definitely be reaching out to Sparkle and Shine in the future! read more

The cleaning was ok but I wanted to be a regular customer and in the 5-6 weeks I was with them they didn't come 3 times at the last minute with random excuses why. The last time they texted me late that their daughter was in the ER the night before my cleaning. They never showed up again and I finally texted to see what was going on. They said oh we thought you were mad since we didn't show up. It was all very odd.... I pay at time of service and they saw my house in person when they came to quote. Not sure what happened..... read more

I hired Jennifer to come out to do a first time professional cleaning on my home. I explained over the phone in advance the areas that I thought would require extra care, and that since it was a first-time cleaning, I thought it might take longer than a normal routine clean. Jen came out with her husband Greg, and together they did a fantastic job. They were very respectful of my space and items, and I felt like the price was fair given the size and amount of hard work they put in. My shower glass has never sparkled so much, even when we moved in! Would definitely recommend! read more

Scheduling was very easy, I like that communication can be done via text. Cleaning crew was prompt and they did an amazing job on the deep clean, will be using them on a monthly basis moving forward. read more

Jennifer is super responsive, and very kind and helpful with all the questions I had when I reached out. Sandra, gabby and Alyssa came to for the initial deep clean and they did a fantastic job! We have hard water and they got the stains and build up off of our shower glass and it looks great again. They were also kind and respectful and wore shoe covers in the house. They did great work cleaning the problem areas like around the bath tub and grout. Looking forward to working with them again. read more

Great communication, easy to schedule, and quality work! I signed up for bi-weekly after the first cleaning, and I look forward to a clean home. The pricing is fair, I've done my home work and I am happy with the pricing I got quoted. Thank you Jennifer and team! read more

Like many sports families we are constantly on the go. Contacting Sparkle N Shine was a great decision. Jennifer's team came out and did a deep clean in the kitchen and restroom. Jennifer is easy to communicate with and did a great job with outlining what our needs were. She also made sure to incorporate everything into the scope of work. I am happy to say I will have the team back again next month. read more

I requested a move in clean for a 1 bedroom condo. The previous tenant had already moved out and everything was gone. I hadn't moved in yet, so the place was empty. I got in touch with a bunch of cleaners and ended up going with Sparkle N Shine (Jennifer and her team). Communication was great and setting up an appointment was easy. The prices were also very fair ($110/h for 2 cleaners). Unfortunately I was disappointed in the overall quality of clean. The clean was estimated to be about 2 hours for a deep clean of the condo. Jennifer was clear that maybe it would even go over since I also wanted particular things done. I ran some errands as they cleaned and they ended up finishing in about 1.5 hours. I was hesitant as it seemed really quick. I looked over the place and there were a bunch of places that they missed... even the ones that I emphasized that I wanted done. As I pointed them out, they would quickly clean it and move on. I felt very uncomfortable having them stay as they seemed so eager to go. I did not end up having them go through everything again. Jennifer reached out after the clean to check in (as she wasn't there), which was very nice of her. Since there were still places missed, she sent her husband to finish up. I really appreciated that as well. Overall, for the customer service, I would give them a 5. Unfortunately for the quality of clean, it would have to be a 2. read more

I scheduled a house cleaning for my mom for the first time and they did a fantastic job! The owner was responsive in scheduling and the two cleaners were on time and did a great job! My mom was at ease and said she would like to have them back again. Overall great experience! Thank you! read more

I just bought a new house and needed a cleaning after termite fumigation and just hadn't been cleaned since I purchased it. I called different companies but Jennifer was very responsive, asked great questions to determine what kind of cleaning I needed and the appropriate pricing for it, and sent out a great team. The cleaning crew of two were friendly and professional and went above and beyond. The house was truly sparkling and shining after they finished. I am now scheduling a regular cleaning with Sparkle N Shine! read more

Wow!! Best cleaning service I've ever had! Jennifer and her team are easy to contact, reliable, friendly, conscientious and love leaving my house "sparkly clean"!! Very professional yet already feels like family in my home. I love the surprises they do like folding my toilet paper in a hotel like style. Little details mean a lot! Always happy to come home to my clean house. Such a blessing! Thanks, Jennifer and Team!!! read more

We had a three person team who came and did a deep clean for our 3 story, 4bed/4bath house. They were efficient, thorough, quick and friendly. They take the final walkthrough seriously, and spot clean any additional areas that we wanted further polishing. Additionally, the coordinator Jennifer did a terrific job coordinating and making sure the cleaners arrived, executed the work thoroughly and the house was left in a satisfying state. Thank you for the fantastic job! read more

Great house cleaning service! Jennifer responded quickly and asked lots of questions about what I needed. She and two more gals came out a few days later and were right on time and got to work immediately! Efficient yet thorough as they cleaned our two-story home! I appreciated the ease of payment options she offers. Venmo, Zelle, etc. Quality cleaning job! I will definitely be recommending her to my friends in the area! Give her and her crew a try! read more

Don't be fooled by the 5 star ratings like I did and just look at the other low rating reviews. This place is definitely just mediocre at best. The cleaning job itself was acceptable, but tbh I've had other cleanings done before where it actually smells nice and clean or just adding those extra touches of making your bed and fluffing the pillows on the couch. Don't expect much of that from here. The main problem with them though is their pricing model which charges you an hourly rate for the first visit and then a more reasonable flat rate as long as you agree to keep a recurring service. Before I even decided to move forward with them, I asked Jennifer if I would still be able to keep my flat rate even if I wanted to extend my recurring service to once every 2 months. She told me it was not a problem but after that time came around when I asked about my next cleaning, she then told me that it would go back to an hourly rate since I did not keep my recurring service to every 4 weeks. Apparently, she would be losing money if I wanted to keep my flat rate for service to every 2 months. Unfortunately, everything we agreed to earlier was over the phone, so shame on me for trusting them to keep their word. I'm certain she will respond here saying that she never agreed to any of this, but I know what I heard and it was the only reason why I decided to go with them in the first place. Very deceptive business practices from my experience at least. Btw, in case anyone is curious about pricing specifically - I was quoted $120/hr for 2 people and $150/hr for 3 people for my 3BR/2.5BA. It took them about ~2.5 hours for the first visit which came out to $280. Then it would be $165 for the recurring rate. I do NOT recommend them but if you still decide to try them out, proceed with caution and get everything in writing from them. EDIT: Since we're going to be more specific, let's be clear that I only booked two cleanings, not three since there was a miscommunication on the third cleaning date so that never happened. And of course I would want to book more than once, isn't that the whole point with trying to keep a flat rate? I also never said I was unhappy with the cleaning, I said it was acceptable but like I mentioned above, there are other places that are just better. I would have looked elsewhere after the first cleaning, but no one wants to have to start all over again with a new vendor esp after dropping $280 for an initial cleaning and I didn't want to lose out on my flat rate either. I'm just trying to be very transparent so that no one else makes the same mistake that I did. There was obviously some poor communication that happened here, and I'm surprised that someone in the business this long wouldn't even try to offer any resolution as a sign of good faith towards a new customer. read more

Sparkle N Shine did a great job for us. They were able to come out within 3 days of my calling for a deep cleaning of our house. Other than three or four minor areas they did an amazing job, from the baseboards to the bathrooms. read more

I was in need of a deep cleaning at my apartment so I contacted a few places and decided to go with this company. I've had a bad experience with a cleaning company before so was somewhat skeptical about hiring another one. However, I decided to take a risk and I spoke with Jennifer once I decided to contact them. She was professional and willing to work with my busy schedule which I appreciated. I finally set on a date to be able to have them come by and she said her crew would be here between 11:30-12:30 which was fine with me. They got here at exactly 11:30. The two people that came did an amazing job cleaning my apartment! I am beyond happy and will be using this cleaning service again for sure. I am glad to have took the risk! read more

Contacted Sparkle N Shine less than a week ago and I was able to schedule an appointment very easy. Jennifer the owner was great to deal with. Called and text depending on what was convienent for both of us at the time. Araceli was amazing! She was on time, efficient and super sweet. She did an amazing job on a bathroom that hadn't been cleaned in months from a tenant. Came out smelling great and clean. I will defiantly have Araceli come back soon to help us out. read more

First time working with Sparkle N Shine to get the whole house cleaned up and surely not the last . Jennifer was very quick to respond, friendly and professional she gave me a very accurate quote. Very easy to communicate with, she went above and beyond to accommodate my tight schedule. The cleaning crew did an amazing job, they missed a couple areas so when I contacted jennifer about it she did everything she could to make sure the the crew would come back the next day to make it perfect and they did! Melissa and her team came on time and were very professional and friendly, she kept me updated during the time they were cleaning to let me know when the job was done . Overall, only good things to say about Sparkle N Shine and would recommend strongly to work with them ! Good job and thank you guys. read more

I recently purchased a deep cleaning from Sparkle N Shine as a birthday gift for my 24 year old son. I spoke with the owner a couple of times about what I wanted to be done, we discussed how is apartment was clean (tidy) but was in need of a deep clean. I texted her exactly what I wanted to done (maybe everyone has a different idea about what a deep clean is)listed item, by item, and she agreed to my list. We also messaged via Yelp. So there was a lot of communication beforehand. The cleaners showed up on time, got to work and to my surprise were done in an hour and 15 minutes. My son's apartment is small, but 1.15 still seemed quicker than I had expected for a deep clean. My son lives about an hour and a half from me, so I was not there to do the walk through at the end (and the owner knew I wouldn't be there). I texted my son the list of things to check and I assumed the owner would also go over the list with her crew as well when they were done. My son was happy with their job and the cleaning crew left. I paid the owner and was excited to see the deep cleaning the next day on my visit to my son's apartment. Ok, so here it is. The apartment was clean, cleaner then it had been but It was not deep cleaned. For example, the inside of the oven was clean but the inside of the oven door was still sticky and dirty. If you run your finger on the top of surfaces (picture frames, tops of lamps etc.) there was dust. Not cleaned. Window blinds, dusty, not cleaned. Some areas of the baseboards were dirty. I texted and asked the owner if she wanted feedback about the job that was done. Since she's not on site with the cleaners, I assumed she would. And she did. We spoke on the phone and I told her exactly what I'm writing here. She heard me but kept going back to "well your son did a walk through and was happy." She didn't really acknowledge that a deep cleaning was not done, even though I went over the items listed above. She did offer to send out someone (within 24 hours) to deep clean the areas that were neglected on the condition that I was there when that happened. Due to my schedule, I was unable to do that. I asked her if she could do that next week when I will be there and she told me no. So here is my takeaway-for a regular quick cleaning, this company is fine. For a true deep cleaning, I have no idea since that's what I ordered and that didn't happen. On our call I even told the owner I would have happily paid more for them to be there longer to get the job done. In fact in our previous communications, we discussed my budget which was almost twice the amount I ended up paying since they were done so quickly. read more

Awesome team of cleaners, always on time, always masked up. Communication is great too -- they even text reminders for your appointments. Since there's often 2-3 (and even sometimes 4 people) cleaning, they're in and out in under two hours, which I'm super grateful for. They get all the basics done and then some, always remembering to clean oft-forgotten things like baseboards and light fixtures. I work from home right now and they've been very accommodating with that as well. Great team! read more

THESE 4 and 5 star REVIEWS ARE FAKE. Read and proceed with caution! Real Yelpers have real pictures elite status and tons of reviews on various things. The 4 and 5 star reviews are a fake pattern. Just found their company VIA yelp yesterday and called Jennifer to set an appointment and they had an opening for today!! My apartment hadn't been deep cleaned in a LONG time and it was getting past the point of me being able to properly clean it how I wanted to myself. So we left the house for a little and (Greg & Linda I believe?!) worked their magic!! We're so happy with everything and they got out stains that I couldn't get out for months. Will be using their services now frequently!! Thank you SO much! Very satisfied. read more

I just moved into a pretty dirty place with some old coworkers of mine and it was near terrifying to live in with how filthy it was. I called Jennifer and asked for someone to come by and just get the normal living areas cleaned: bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The estimate was more than reasonable and I had Araceli over the next week to do the project that is my new home. After three hours of intense cleaning for just one person, my home is now spotless - she even got some stains I was certain we're going to be there forever out of the floors and walls. Araceli kept me informed as she went from room to room and even stayed a little longer than scheduled to make sure everything got done to my satisfaction. Great company, great prices, great people. read more

Great Service and would definitely recommend. Was looking for a deep clean and Jennifer was super responsive from the start and very helpful with scheduling something that fit my schedule. On the scheduled day the team texted me to say they were running a little early and asked if it was ok to come earlier. They did a fabulous job and checked to be sure I was happy with everything before they left. Very thorough and quick. I will definitely be scheduling regular work with them. read more

This used to be a good cleaning company but they've steadily gone downhill lately which I is why I recently terminated their services. They cleaned my home for the last year but during the past few months I've had to call the owner multiple times to complain about hair left on the floor, trash not being emptied and bathrooms not being properly cleaned. I will say that the staff is always friendly but they just don't pay attention to detail. They are also unable to commit to an occasional change in schedule but it's a totally different story if they need to come on a different day. Bottom line, just average service at best. There are better cleaners out there for less money. read more

Not a fan of this company. They billed me an arm and a leg for the first cleaning (upwards of 300) despite the fact that I've always had regular cleanings at my house previously. I justified this by figuring I was starting a long term relationship for consistent cleaning, and then a few cleanings in they dropped me as a customer. The cleaning itself was mediocre - no moving of items, lack of cleaning under the raised couch), they offer no laundry service. I practically had to beg to get them to pull towels and even that was inconsistent. At 175 a cleaning I'd expect more. Long and short: mediocre. read more

I've been with Sparkle N Shine for nearly a year now and I'm so glad I hired them. Jennifer is great to work with and her team is the best. We've had Melisa for the last several months and she works her tail off. Melisa isn't just a hard worker, but she's super friendly and kind to our animals. On occasion, I have to leave shortly after Melisa arrives and she always locks up for us and makes sure to let our dogs back in before she leaves. The owners Jennifer & Greg are not afraid to get their hands dirty and will come and work alongside their staff about every 4th of 5th cleaning (it's usually Greg because Jennifer is running all the behind the scenes stuff). Also, there's been a few times when Jennifer has asked if I'd be willing move my time because she's trying to work around an elderly client's dr's appointment and I love that she's looking out for the needs of her elderly clients. Thanks to Jennifer and her team, my husband and I can spend our weekends with our son and not worry about cleaning. read more

I have been getting service from Sparkle N Shine for a few months and they have the best staff. When I first called to ask questions, I expressed all my concerns and the owner was understanding and helped alleviate everything. The staff that shows up really takes care of our personal belongings. They are quick, reliable, and very attentive. The work is amazing.
