Kimberly contacted me immediately when I asked for a quote on doing a deep clean of my home. She was kind, courteous and professional. One month later, my husband contacted her to book the deep clean. She was prompt with her replies and maintained great contact with us, reminding us of the upcoming deep clean, etc. Kimberly and her team arrived and they got straight to work. She asked me if there were any specific areas to pay attention to, asked whether there were any rooms we wanted her to avoid (there was...the office). I hired Fresh Start to deep clean my small business (frozen yogurt shop). I met with and received quotes from 4 companies and Fresh Start's price point fell in the middle of the pack. Right off the bat I liked Kimberly, she was honest and straight forward about the level of work needed and the amount of time it would take. The past few years have been rough so I can't tell you enough the relief I now have from having a much cleaner home. She is so communicative via text and made sure to send reminders a few days leading up to my appointment. Her team (two people) arrived on time team and were super friendly. I chose this company because they had the highest reviews. They also had the highest prices. Kimberly was very responsive and available that same day which was great! However, I felt like the value wasn't there almost immediately by her presentation and explanation of their charges. I requested at least twice to be notified BEFORE they arrived at my house because I have 2 large dogs that need to be put away. Next thing I know, I receive a text that the cleaning crew is at my house and they are just going to finish their lunch and I have about 10 minutes to put the dogs away. That's not what I requested because my dogs freak out when unknown vehicles park in front of my house. Then, I go outside to unload some items from my car and they are standing in my neighbors yard (most likely because it's shady and my yard doesn't have shade) so I kindly introduced myself and asked them to please step OUT of my neighbors yard and invited them to stand anywhere in my yard. I take my items inside and return to grab more items from my car...this time, not only are they STILL in my neighbors yard but they are SMOKING. I canceled my service with them. I'm not going to pay a premium for that type of conduct. Update: the response to my review from the company is misleading and inaccurate. They did not arrive promptly at 12:15. They arrived between 11:50-11:55. My issue was never that the lady smokes. It was that she's smoking in my NEIGHBOR's yard. Lastly, if I am paying a premium for a service, I expect the personnel conduct to have common sense, manners, and overall top-notch quality. I needed someone to help me clean my home. I've never used a cleaning service before but my husband convinced me to try it out. I went with this company for the reviews. The staff was very friendly and very responsive and asked questions before getting started. Unfortunately during the cleaning process a lamp cover was loose so it dropped and shattered. They offered to buy a new one but we told them it was not necessary. I think what really got me was the fact that I was charged extra for them going over on time knowing that they had to clean glass that broke. I also found that the glass was not cleaned off the clean dishes and I almost ingested the glass when I grabbed a cup. I let them know to be more cautious for future clients.
