I have been a customer of Maid Solution since July 2017 (over 8 years) and they always do a great job. I just moved out of their service area, and I hope that I can find a new service that is as good. In the 8+ years, I never had to contact the office about any service problems. Even with inevitable staff changes, my bi-weekly services have been consistently excellent. Like anything you buy (car insurance, housekeeping, groceries), even when you are very happy with the service you are receiving, you should check prices with other companies to prove to yourself that you are getting a great value. Well, when I checked with 3 different cleaning services (including one just 3/4 of a mile from my home) in early 2025, they were all much more expensive. Bottom line, Maid Solutions does great work at a great value. I'm going to miss them at my new home. read more

Between full time jobs, school, and life in general, our house was an absolute wreck (hangs head in shame). We finally decided to hire a professional service to help out. It was easy to schedule, the estimate was accurate, and the price was very reasonable. The team did a fabulous job, the whole house looked amazing, and my bathroom was literally sparkling. We used Maid Solution for nearly two years while living in Arlington, Virginia. We had to end services due to a relocation to another state for work. We certainly miss the ladies who helped keep our apartment clean! They were reliable, thorough, fast, and consistent every time we met with them monthly. Scheduling and/or rescheduling was also easy. Payment was also easy. In particular, we utilized the services during COVID when things were still uncertain, and the ladies respected wearing foot shoes and masks the entire time. We used Maid Solutions for 5 years and never had a problem. We moved out of state and paid $380 for a move out cleaning - and were very specific about somethings, like sweeping the basement and cleaning the floors and refrigerator, that needed cleaning. When our realtor said the cleaning was ok, but we needed to bring in someone else to finish the job, we wondered. When we got the pictures from the buyer's inspection, we understood. We shared the feedback and pictures with Paula. She apologized but kept our money - even though we had to pay someone else to do some of the job. Just a warning: be cautious if you aren't there to hold them accountable. Just disappointing after 5 years of loyal business. read more

Do not use. They do not value their customers time. Twice they canceled on me last minute when I rearranged my entire work schedule for them to show up and give me a quote. Once after giving me a 4 hour window when they would show up only to cancel a half hour before the window closed.... Incredibly rude and no regard for other peoples time. If they can't even do that I do not want them cleaning my house. read more

We hired Maid Solution for a trial run at an hourly rate. 2 maids spent 2.5 hours cleaning our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse. Our kitchen appliances look fantastic! The bathrooms are shining. They even emptied the diaper pail in our nursery, which is huge since it smelled awful. We are hiring them for bi-weekly cleaning services. I have been using Paula and Maid solution for years, and my neighbor does too. I have a single family house in Kingstowne and I have Maid Solution clean my house bi-monthly. Maid solution has very good rates, they are always on time, and I can even contact Paula (the owner) on short notice: She always returns calls within 30 minutes or less. As for the service, we could not be happier. I am a former Marine and I like our house to be spic and span at any given moment, I have very high standards. Very happy with this service. Betty and Sandra arrived right on time and cleaned from top to bottom, from beds to bathrooms. Not only was the house clean - their use of green cleaning agents left the house smelling great but not like a chemical factory. Nice touch! They even asked if 'everything was okay' before they left. The best cleaning service I've used. I had an initial cleaning and bi-weekly cleanings after that. I've tried other cleaning services, and what stood out about Paula's team is their friendliness and thoroughness. They worked hard the whole time but didn't just rush through everything. They really took the time to go the extra mile, organizing clutter, making the beds, taking out the trash and recycling, moving things around to make sure everything was vacuumed, and even moving the couch (a sectional!) to wipe down the base boards behind it. Everything feels much cleaner and more organized than I thought possible. A very thorough job, definitely the best bang for your buck. read more

The ladies are very nice, but the cleaning not so good. I used them for several months and started to notice that thing that they were supposed to doing weren't getting done, I am 1 person in the house so it really doesn't get that dirty. Window sill's weren't getting cleaned, sliding glass door weren't done, kitchen floor wasn't vacuumed before it was supposedly washed and the list goes on. Owner Paula was very nice and offered to send someone out to clean the things they missed, but at that point I was done. This wasn't the first time things were missed and I didn't want to keep paying for something I wasn't getting. There is no way you can tell me that 2 women can clean a 2600 sq ft house in 1.5 hours. They rush to get on to the next job at your expense. read more

I cannot recommend this service enough. Paula was wonderful to work with from quote to follow-up. I obtained a quote quickly and was able to chose from a long list of services. I ended up choosing most of the offered services. The two-person team arrived on time and did my whole house in 4 hours (3 level town home - 3 bed, 3.5 bath). We're getting ready to list our house on the market and take professional pictures next week and now I feel confident that our house will show even better because of the work they did.
