    Happy hour menu

I went back with my bestie for (happy hour) we both went for all you can eat crab legs. They were good, we got the mixed vegetables as our side... very good see my picture! The bartender was so nice, he and the 2nd one that relieved him. The restaurant views.from the bar were beautiful this fall. We will go back soon!!!

I love Mahi's. They have a really nice patio area and outdoor bar that is bumping in summer and there is usually live music outside in the middle area between them and Chic's. The menu is large and full of seafood and other items to satisfy those who don't like fish. I especially love their steamed shrimp bc it's served in like a white wine sauce or something that is SO good. Very large and delicious shrimp too. I craved it while pregnant and got it all the time. They have a nice and various menu with a kid's menu with a killer burger and fries - like, legit if she doesn't eat it I'm going to. Service is always kind and the inside is pretty. I'm a fan. It's not fine dining, but it's a nice spot at the beach for lunch or dinner.

We walked about 15 blocks to get here on a rainy night. It was cozy inside and not too many people around 7pm on a Tuesday. Our server was great; she took our drink and app order within a few minutes. The sushi was beautifully rolled and tasted fresh. The seafood pasta stood out; a balance of sauce and flavor. The namesake fish was flaky and nicely plated. Great choice for sushi enthusiasts and casual diners.

It was a busy night but we had great service for our party of 6! The blackened fish tacos were loaded up and delicious. Although just a side, the fries were also SO amazing -- pro tip ask for extra old bay to dip the fries in! Not to mention the key lime crush which was probably the drink I've ever had. Cannot recommend it enough! The vibes were great, there were vines draped around and the view of the beach really set the vibes even though it's February. 5/5 loved it!

Mahi is a solid boardwalk spot with a chill vibe and a great view -- perfect for a nice day at Virginia Beach. Service was one of the highlight of my visit. My server, Ashley, was incredible, super friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. I went with the Maryland-style crab cake (as a Marylander myself), and while it didn't quite match true Maryland standards, it was still enjoyable cant be too picky. The succotash wasn't really my thing, but the mashed potatoes were a win. Drinks were on point, well mixed, no skimping, and actually strong in the best way. Overall, Mahi is a laid-back spot right off the boardwalk where you can grab a good drink and a decent meal. It didn't blow me away, but I'd absolutely come back next time I'm in town.

An overall excellent experience at Mahi's from the management, our waiter, wait times, food and drinks. I had walked in on a Sunday, mid-afternoon asking to speak to a manager about a last minute reservation that evening to accommodate 20-25 people. Shay was absolutely great to work with and told me our tables would be ready at the time requested. We were sat in a back room with plenty of space amongst everyone. Our waiter Zach was awesome handling our entire party throughout our time there and he had a great personality. Everyone was very happy with their meals and drinks. Their crab dip is delicious, so good that I just ended up eating a spoonful of it. Sushi is always fresh. We would happily be back again!

Inside the Doubletree on the beach. Indoor and outdoor seating. Extensive menu with surf n turf and sushi. I didn't try the sushi. I'm into shareables and they were impressive. Almost fine dining style food however you walk into the restaurant and the decor and seating are plain and simple. The waiter we had was amazing and welcoming. The new fashioned drink may be one of my favorite drinks ... basically an old fashioned but with tequila. The ice cream cookie is also recommended.

Mahi's was all around an amazing dining experience! I would 100% recommend this place and hope to be back soon! Things I loved: -We were greeted immediately as we entered the establishment -Our server, Lauren, was attentive, professional, and kind -The photographer who takes pictures of your party ($20 per framed photo or $45 for a set of 3) -THE FOOD (seriously this was the best and most fresh poke bowl I have ever had + the sushi was amazing) -The atmosphere was quiet and the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing (we sat inside, but there is also seating outside) -The virgin Pina Colada (so refreshing after a long day at the beach) Things I didn't love: -N/A

Oysters were not fresh, yet, they were as advertised: raw. Pre-shucked, we found them dry. We would not go back for oysters on the half-shell even if they offered free rye. The entrees were good and our server Amber deserves a 5. The music was loud which made it difficult to reprise.

Nice spot near the beach. We came for happy hour and had appetizers with drinks--everything was good. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is more upscale modern.

That being said, I ordered from Sushi Vice. I'm not hating it. Before I placed my order with DoorDash, I actually called the restaurant and requested that they include cups of soy sauce and chopsticks, etc., because I was staying in the hotel. I only did this because if you order off DoorDash's menu, you cannot include Notes to the restaurant. It's ridiculous. With all that being said, I could not believe it when my order arrived it was exactly as I requested. It's not really a sushi joint. It's more of an Asian fusion type place and they have a very limited menu, but what they do have is very, very good. I highly recommend trying that beef fried rice thing. I've included a picture of it. It was freaking awesome. You won't be disappointed, but I would strongly suggest going to the restaurant and you'll probably even have a better meal. The next time I'm in Virginia Beach, which is quite often I'll probably just drop in to the restaurant myself.

The dining area inside is small, but it can still accommodate maybe one big group. There's also outdoor seating available. We came for an early dinner on a weekday, and it started getting busy pretty quickly. They were able to accommodate our large party inside since we had little kids with us, though we did have to split into two tables. Since we had small kids, the menu doesn't really cater much to them aside from the fried rice, but they were able to make a non-spicy version upon request. I did expect the food to be a bit larger for the price and portion size, so that was a little disappointing. The kids, however, enjoyed the fried rice, and you really can't go wrong with the drinks. Our tab came out to a little over $340. Overall, this place was just okay for us.

I ordered the spicy umami miso ramen with tofu, karaage, and a soft-boiled egg, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, comforting, and full of flavor. I'll admit I went a little overboard with the add-ons, but I was just too excited and couldn't resist. It's a hidden gem tucked into a shopping center and easy to miss from the main road, but there's plenty of parking and once you're inside it's much more spacious than it looks. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and everything came out fresh. Prices were very reasonable too, especially for the portion sizes and quality. There's also a wide menu beyond ramen, so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more. Before leaving, I grabbed a brown sugar boba milk tea too. I was already full, so I saved it for later--but even then, it was still really good. Overall, a great first experience--I'll definitely be returning!

I absolutely love this spot because it's never super busy, the ambiance is nice and the service is always great. I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen w/Oxtail and an extra soft, boiled egg. It was served very quickly and it was great. The broth was savory, the oxtail was tender and the noodles were perfect. I ate the entire bowl. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I didn't feel that great. I'm not sure if the pork or oxtail were bad but something did not agree with my stomach at all. I felt awful! It's not a buffet. And you can order as much as you want, each time. For example, we have 4 adults in our party. My order will go like this: 2 rolls (6pcs per roll) of Spicy Girl, 1 roll of Philly, 1 plate of BBQ squid, 1 chicken yakisoba, 1 avocado salad. And all that's going to come to you. Next round, you order all new items, as much as you want. I'm an including photos of the lunch menu. You can order all you want, over and over, from everything on that menu photo. Are your starting to see the possibilities? Even at lunch, you have the option to use the dinner menu, which costs $5 or $10 per head. It gives you even more options and items. We haven't tried those yet. So we all are Asian food conisseurs. We like quality sushi. We like good Korean BBQ. We love good Japanese restaurants, so how does the food compare here? It's say it's pretty darn good for $19.99 per head, unlimited. The sushi is maybe 1 step above buffet sushi, but it's good. The Yakisoba is almost as good as a Japanese restaurant. The Miso soup is fully just as good. The shrimp tempura is not quite as good as a Japanese restaurant, but for this price and unlimited, yeah it's really decent. The Bbq squid is exquisite. I can't say enough about that. The chicken nuggets and fries were even good. Both servers we've had were Jonny on the spot with recording and drink refills. I mean both times I got 5 refills on the Diet Coke and never had to wait. Impressive. It's our new place after church and we rotate it between here and Chic-n-roll. What's we left today, all very full and happy and pleased, we were already saying we can't wait till next time...

We decided to give Saruki Japanese Hibachi a try on a weeknight and were seated after only about a five-minute wait. One thing we really enjoyed was having the hibachi table to ourselves. Unlike many hibachi experiences where you're seated with other parties, it was just my family, which made for a more relaxed dinner. Our chef was entertaining without being over the top, and the cooking was done well. The steak and scallops were both cooked perfectly, which we appreciated. The meal came with the standard vegetables, although we noticed there were no bean sprouts, which are common at many hibachi restaurants in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We also missed the traditional dipping sauces that usually accompany hibachi meals. Instead, we were served a mayo-based sauce that wasn't really to our taste. The staff was happy to provide Sriracha when requested, which helped. Service was decent, and the food was good overall. However, with restaurant prices being what they are today, the experience didn't quite stand out enough for us to make a return visit. It wasn't a bad meal by any means--just one that ultimately felt a bit forgettable. This version comes across as fair and constructive while still explaining why you likely won't be back.
