This is way better than I thought it would be. I figured, bland strip-mall suburban restaurant (and was partly right) but still, the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is awesome, and there are tons of TVs, all tuned to sports. The place gets crowded fast if there's a big event going on. A little pricey, but like I said, better than you expect for what it seems to be (by which I mean I'd choose this every time over Chili's or some crummy chain like that). There's also a pizza bigger than the table, so that's always an option. read more

The name of this place leads you to be believe it is an Italian restaurant. It is not. It is a sports bar. It is not a dive, but not far from it. There are four large TVs above the bar showing sports events. But there is also a smaller TV in the corner of the bar blaring out heavy metal music from MTV videos. I found that loud music annoying and totally not needed. I ordered a Reuben sandwich (as did the gentleman sitting next to me at the bar). Both sandwiches were extremely over cooked. Although the bartender discounted the sandwiches 50%, the experience was not a pleasant one. If you want a drink and much better bar food, go to Top Spin. It is only 2 minutes away. read more

Great atmosphere, friendly, down to earth staff. Best local hangout around! Ask for Brandon he'll take care of you.

Updated review as of 4/2019 Only one bartender remains that has been there the entire time I have frequented Mags. It's a convenient place to stop in and meet up with friends; especially just before the kids extracurricular activities or afterwards. They support their local teams which is where the loyalty of the patrons comes into play. SADLY, since the change in staff, the service has declined in both efficiency and friendliness. It's not the same anymore. The food is mediocre at best and that hasn't changed. *** previous review I've been going here frequently for 3+ years, mainly for the sportsbar atmosphere. I like the bartenders and they usually deliver my beverage of choice as I sit down. I give the bar and the bar tenders 5 stars but the food is blah, so I'd give it a star. I wish they would add some new items to the menu. I haven't found anything on the menu they do extremely well or well for that matter. They support their community and that seems to breed the loyal patrons. The owners could stand to update their TVs read more

Customers must wear masks, waiters and bartenders wear masks, and yet, the kitchen staff DO NOT. I ordered pick up only to find the two individuals preparing my food wore no facial covering. I left and the food went straight in the garbage. Sad to lose this in my list of places to go because I love the food, but I can't take chances and don't like that they think they can either. read more

The service and food has definitely been affected. We ordered wings, salad and pizza online. Upon arrival, I asked where to pick up the food and her response was "over there" and she acted like I was bothering her. My wife and I entered the bar and covid 19 must be over. Everyone was sitting together with no masks! The bartender took his time when I tried to get his attention. It took longer than usual to receive the food. When we got it home..the wings were cold and it was the pizza was missing sauce and cheese. I should have took pictures....sorry. You may want to eat in the restaurant, they have more spacing. read more

The burgers are great. The pizza rolls are great. The wings are super awesome. This is a great family-friendly place when you've got kids wanting to run around but you're also wanting to watch the game. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff. read more

This place has a great bar atmosphere and great bar food. Actually they have some items on their menu that you might not expect to be good but they are. Ribs, the ribs are great! Pepperoni rolls might be the best in town. Burgers are good, wings are good, pizza is good, and so are the salads. Skip the mac and cheese it bland and boring, but to be honest that might be the only thing we have had that we don't like. Staff is great, attentive and cordial. Great place to catch a game or hit on the way home from a game. read more

We visit Maggiore's almost every week and get fabulous food and service. While it's a family joint where "kids eat free" (normally a deal breaker for us), the design of the place keeps rug rats happy on the restaurant side. Adults on the bar side can enjoy lots of sports and even a 100oz beer with their meals. I hope they will broaden their menu just a bit for more vegan options (like a veggie burger...?). read more

My husband and I are regulars here, and we both agree that their pizza is the best in Cedar Park. We also regularly get the pizza rolls, which have never disappointed. I'll agree with previous posts that their salads are a little bland, but I don't eat here for the salads, I come here to drink beer, watch sports, and eat good pizza and/or rolls. We usually sit at or in the bar area, so our service has always been great, but on the few occasions where we sat in the dining area or on the patio (little to no kids running around) our service was also really good. We are thankful that this place opened up, as the other sports bar options in the surrounding area - which are no longer around or have changed owners and names 3 times - left ALOT to be desired. Great place to go if you want to cheer on your favorite team and have (hopefully share) a 100 oz beer and some good pizza. read more

My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed speedy service, delicious food, and a waitress who went out of her way to ensure we were well taken care of. Highlights included some of the creamiest cheese sticks I've tasted as well as a tantalizingly seasoned chicken parmesan sandwich. The $3 margarita wasn't very strong, but it was easily tasty enough for the price. Overall, I think we found a new casual dining spot for our regular rotation. read more

Love the place. The food is great. Best pepperoni rolls I've ever had. Have been here many times with never a bad experience. They have a late happy hour too from 10 to 11pm every day. The website is wrong on here though. I submitted a change. Should be: Http://www.magstexascom/ read more

Maggiores has really good food. In addition, the prices are really low for the quality of food. I have tried burgers, sandwiches and spaghetti at the restaurant. All were outstanding. I only wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often. read more

Went here for first time with my family. The waiter literally told my father "to hurry up and place his order because he has places to be" as he rudely tapped his pen on his paper. Very rude service. Then after waiting for 20 minutes did our waters come out. We were all in shock. I can not imagine going back there after that experience. Just wow. We should have complained on the spot- but we were all so tired from moving - we just wanted to get that nightmare over with. Yes- this happened last night- Sunday- and yes I we got servers name that I will not post publicly. read more

Took 30 minutes to get 2 appetizers with 2 tables in restaurant. Server kept apologizing. That should have been a clue. Food tasted metallic and fried app obviously tasted like oil needed changed. Service good However. read more

Where to begin.... Burger over cooked, patty 1/3 the size of the dry bun, tatter tots undercooked and no seasoning, pizza was a shame, raw dough throughout the middle and a tiny portion of chicken for a $11 10" pizza! We got it to go and couldn't even eat it. What a waste of money. Please save yours and go elsewhere.. read more

Came here back in November 2018 because it was the local Bills Backers Bar. Came in about an hour before game time, so I was the first Bills fan there. When I asked the waitress where the Bills fans met, she had no idea. Finally was told we were outside. I was fine being out there, but the problem was the TV had a glare on it. Whoever is in charge of putting the TV's on the right games had no idea what was going on. The entire first quarter of the game had the wrong sound. When we as a group asked for it to change, they got us audio, but no video. Then the complete wrong game. Food was really good, and according to the regulars there, it was usually more organized when the owner is there, so I'm definitely willing to give it another shot if I happen to be in Austin during football season again. read more

I started going to Maggiore's about 3 years ago on a whim and it has been my go to favorite sports bar and restaurant since. It is a good family atmosphere with a typical restaurant style seating area, game area for the kids and semi separate bar area for adults. The bar and restaurant seating area are loaded with TV's so no matter where you sit, you'll get a good view of your game. The food is wonderful. I have tried nearly everything on the menu and haven't had anything but a great meal. I would highly recommend the Coop pizza if I had to pick a favorite though. The staff and bar staff are wonderful, quick and attentive. While the venue is enjoyable and perfect for Saturday and Sunday football games, the staff are the real reason I keep coming back. Every visit has been a welcoming experience where we could enjoy ourselves, relax and not feel rushed at all. If you're looking for a great sports bar and restaurant with superior food where kids are welcome, you won't be disappointed here. read more

Our family just moved to the area and we were looking for a new place to try. Based on reviews here on Yelp, we couldn't pass it up. Our waiter was super nice and helpful with suggestions. The food was amazing. We tried a little of everything. Mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, wings, tenders, pizza and the Mags burger. We couldn't pass up dessert either. Nothing disappointed us. Great vibe too! Thanks for the much needed and excellent change of pace for our family! read more

Solid laid back bar scene. Nice chill spot outside with a huge TV for sports. Little game area for kids and the pizza rolls are the S**t! Oh, and they have Golden Tee! Great place and surprisingly have awesome pizza. read more

Had an unfortunate experience last week. Party of 6. They forgot my sons order. We were all done eating before he got his meal. When the check came my husband noticed they didn't remove cost of forgotten meal. Waitress said she'd check with the manager to remove. She then brings back the ticket my husband notices again they didn't remove my sons order. He found the manager and asked if the waitress brought it to their attention and the manager said no. When we asked the waitress why she didn't ask the manger she said she asked the bartender?!? Food is decent and nice patio - reason for 3 stars. House wine is nasty. Stick to beer or mixed drinks. My son and his friends love the pizza rolls. read more

Went to the bar to grab a drink and they allowed a child to sit at the bar with parents and found that a little odd. I stood there for a few minutes before someone asked if I wanted a drink. We ended up sitting at tables outside the bar and service was good. We order a kids meal chicken strip meal-delicious and strips are huge, and a Mag burger. I asked for meat, cheese, bacon, and fried egg only on the burger. It came to the table with all that but with jalapeños. My son's mouth was burning and not expecting that. We had to send it back because it was too spicy and what they brought back was even more strange, they brought the meat, cheese, bacon and egg NO BUN. My son said it was still spicy so my guess is they picked the jalapeños off and put it on a plate with no bun. I will give them another shot though but this was our first time there and this is our experience read more

Had a burger on $3.99 BYO (Build Your Own) burger night. Classic hamburger with add-ons for .49 and .99 cents depending on the topping. Burger came out medium without having to request for it which is really the only way to eat a burger. The pizza rolls were also great, reminds me of Double Daves's rolls but without all the extra dough and just what you're looking for. Overall vibe was nice, I'll be coming back here again read more

This is a very good neighborhood bar and restaurant. They have a good happy hour during the week and it's all day happy hour on Sundays. That is perfect for the upcoming football season. They have lots of tv's to catch the games too. The service is good and the staff is friendly. This place is close to my house so I've been here several times and have tried many things on their menu. Their Italian dishes are good and they take pride in them. They have good sandwiches too, but their burgers are really good. They can add grilled onions and I highly suggest it. The buns are good too. They have chips and salsa as well as queso. I recommend the queso, the salsa can vary at times and sometimes the garlic is a little heavy but the next time it's good again. That can happen when salsa is homemade. I love to dip their seasoned fries in the queso, mmm. My favorite item is their chicken wings. They are fried perfectly, and they have over a dozen sauces to choose from, and I haven't had a bad one yet. My favorite is the hot terriyaki, which actually has some heat to it, which pairs great with a cold pint. Very good place, I keep going back and I think you will too. read more

I'm rating this 3.5 , but yelp will only allow a 3 or 4 , so that's that. Looking for a swanky place for date night? Well this certainly isn't that place. It's a typical family friendly american restaurant which plays sports on tv, has pizza and beer. Looking for a place to let ur kids run wild while you enjoy a 22 oz thirsty goat ? Well now you're at the right place. Although I've lived close by for over 2 years now, it took me so long to give this place a try. I'm glad that I did. Thursday night, it wasn't too crowded. We were directed to a table immediately , and waited on promptly. It is refreshing to go to a restaurant with friendly service. Beer bottles were $1 off (Thursday) and there's a small selection of draft. Mind you, I'm not a bottled / off the rack / big name beer gal, so the lack of craft beer sort of disappoints me. The good ones were all bottled - I do wish they expand their tap selection. As any vegetarian would, we diligently ordered the veggie 10 inch ($9.99, comes with 5 toppings ). The reason I have a 3.5 star review is cos the pizza is 'meh'. The crust tasted like dominos pizza and I didn't really like that. Yelp has this part spot on -3.5 stars. There are many appetizers to choose from as well, but I didn't try any of them. What this place lacks for in great pizza , it makes up for in ambience. As a mom of a 3 year old , you have no idea how much I appreciate the awesome patio which is also fenced. Your kids can run all they want , but they won't get hurt. The service was really good. I keep stressing on that cos it is one of the most important aspects of running a good restaurant. Plus- the music they play : is AMAZING. None of that awful pop noise - just good old classic rock , that goes perfectly with that 22 oz beer. Cedar park residents - do check this place out. Families - y'all will love the ambience. read more

It's been going downhill for months! But tonight it hit the bottom, slow service ordered salads, 14" pizza, tea and beer. 15 min later we get a 9" pizza and one salad. No drinks! I have been here several times. The food is generally overcooked and not great. I had to send two appetizers back to the kitchen. Come on .. do it right the first time. It's bar is ok and it's good for afternoons when you want to unwind. But there are so many more that are better. read more

2nd time to eat here. Even though it's on the opposite side of town for us, we make an effort to stop on the way into town. Very laid back and welcoming. Appetizers: Mozzarella stix Drink: Order the tall Meal: The Rolls, chicken strips or the Mikey (you better be hungry) Dessert: Another tall Food is really good and done right. Looking forward to the next time I'm up that way. Only negative, wish the waitress knew the menu better. But she was sweet. Wish we had one of these in Circle C or South Austin. Maybe the owners will read this and consider it. read more

I have been back and service was slow, food came out wrong and overall the experience was just bleh. They seem to have fallen into the mediocre norm for Cedar Park. read more

Mediocre Food and TERRIBLE Service. 30 minutes to get the food only to find out it was sitting in a to go box all soggy, even though I never requested to go and planned to dine in. No water refill. Check was brought to be before meal. The girl bartender/server was just not there in her mind, like running all over the place unaware of her customers with empty drinks and plates to bus. I don't drink and set at the bar to order a bunch of food and watch some sports on TV and it was a terrible experience. The wings were average and cold. The pepperoni roll was pretty good but they didn't bring any sauce and then came back with pizza/marinara sauce, that was cold. The fries were good but soggy probably from sitting in a styrofoam box. My plates sat there with napkins stacked up and an empty drink and I quickly paid the bill and got the heck out of here. Cool ambiance and lots of potential if they had better food and more attentive service that didn't treat you like a transaction and leave you hanging without checking in on you. Would absolutely not recommend. There's a great sports bar with delicious wings across the street that is 300x better and they actually treat you like a human and are responsive vs just thumbing their phones and acting busy while doing nothing. read more

Great meal last night. Seth the waiter does a wonderful job of taking care of us. Our pizza and pizza rolls were great!

Great for the amount of tv's to watch the games but when it comes to service they are horribly lacking. Wait staff does not seem to care when you have to bus your own table the entire day and you have to flag down someone that will take an order and bring you drinks. Plenty of wait staff standing around at the register area. 2nd week in a row this has been the case. read more

Horrible service. Had a party of 8 in the bar to watch football. We had to get up to go to bar to order our drinks and food every time. When drinks or food was delivered to the table we were never asked if we needed anything (including the basics like plates and silverware) we had to fetch that ourselves as well. We bussed our own table and took every empty to the bar. Never was thanked or acknowledged. In fact, I feel we were putting the staff out. I worked in the industry and I have a high tolerance for "bad days" and mistakes but this is a way of business there. This is the second week in a a row with this service and attitude. Shame on us for going back. It will not happen again. read more

Food - I used to go here often as the food was so/so, not bad for what it is - a bar with food options. Some people call it "Italian" - I think that is a stretch. They have some food items that are considered italian. You know - food that a small kitchen could prepare. Staff is very nice and tries to keep up on busy nights. It can get packed so I think they are doing something right. I don't go when it's busy. Too many drunk little league parents... you know who you are! Don't deny! Drinks - Not bad if you want corporate selections / its not a pub with craft beers. Wine is limited. Well drinks are fine. I will give a big props to the TVs. Stevie Wonder is able to catch the game. I'd love to see this place pick up the food a little bit. read more

Who could hate a place with Owners like these guys! No really, have you read some of their replies to the reviews on here!?!?! I love when a business owners know when they've done it right but can admit when something may have fallen thru the cracks. Overall, good job guys! Dre and Tim keep me coming back. Well, them and the PIZZA ROLLS!!! Only complaint... people... if you're sitting in the restaurant and you have your kids with you. Could you please teach them a lesson? An easy one, like, this is a RESTAURANT NOT A PLAYGROUND!!! I can't tell you how annoying it is to have your kids running around, plowing into people, throwing stuff, annoying everyone around them, except you of course. You're like a horse with blinders on. I know that this is probably the only "adult time" you get each week. But the rest of us are trying to enjoy ourselves as well, and just because you're too lazy to be a parent, doesn't mean that the rest of us should sub in. The next time, your kid is jumping on the furnace outside, destroying the new flower beds, screaming in my ear, running through the dining area or out into the parking lot.... I will be the person asking "Where is your Mother?" I'd like for you to purchase me another beverage seeing as how you're child has knocked mine all over my pants.
