Owner…read morewas dishonorable and lied for a year straight. 1 year ago I bought a brand new CMMG Banshee with Trinity as the FFL. I immediately had Trinity put a new Elftmann trigger in. While waiting for the install, Aaron (one of the employees) put a big scratch in the lower trying to get the trigger pins out. He came out and showed me, apologized, and said they'd make it right. I said no worries, we'll figure it out. Trinity initially wanted to "try for a warranty claim" through CMMG. I felt this was dishonest,but didn't fight it as I just wanted a new Banshee. I didn't fight that. In the August timeframe they told me a replacement was available. I came in and when I arrived it was the wrong gun all together (different color, version with a 3 inch longer barrel, etc.). I re-provided the guns info and was told another was ordered through CMMG and "5-6 of their distributors". Was told I just needed to be patient and wait for the gun to arrive. Since August I have called to try to get status and continued to get the run around from Trinity. I've left countless messages and Richard (the owner) refuses to call back or provide info regarding any of the order numbers. This has been going on since September. It's now March 2021 and I called CMMG to see if I could get status from them. They said there was never an order placed. Again I told Richard and he pretended to be surprised and said he'd dig in and get back to me. I said all I needed was proof that the replacement was ordered through CMMG or ANY of the distributors he said it was. He will not provide that info or return calls. I stopped in again last week and it was the same story and the staff just says they've left him message after message to call me back. At this point it's been a full year since Trinity scratched my brand new extremely expensive Banshee. They refuse to correct the issue and continue to duck calls & emails. I believe they have been 100% dishonest and are engaging in extremely poor business practices. It's one thing when you're just going in to spend money with them, but it's another when they damage your property and are actually on the hook to take responsibility for it. This review is posted so that others don't fall into the same situation. I wish I didn't have to write this about a business in my local 2A community, but unfortunately that's what it has come to after a year of trying for resolution. Trinity - shame on you guys for the way you chose to handle yourselves.
