Was recommended to come here and was finally able to make the trip. A decent selection of beers with a lot being IPAs. My friend got a pumpkin cheesecake stout and I got a "Oh Yeaa" which is a sour mixed with kool aid. Mine was ok but my friends didn't taste like pumpkin nor cheese cake. There were surprisingly A LOT of kids running around and slightly loud which I was surprised they were allowed in. Service was quick and friendly which was a redeeming quality. I would come back maybe to try something else as a second try but not dying to get back immediately.

Great vibe. Very family and pet friendly (pets outside). Their beertenders were excellent and very fast. There's a 2.99% credit card fee added to each bill when using a credit card. My wife had the Refresh which is a pilsner style and light. I had the So Fresh So Clean which is a Cold IPA. The 16oz glass was 6.5% ABV and $8.50. It was great. My next one was the Maine Event which is a New England Style hazy IPA. A little citrusy, but very good. Same ABV and price as well. The last one was the Rewind which I think might be their best. More of a West Coast IPA. Same ABV and price. They don't serve their own food, but there's a Taco truck onsite. Using their QR code, you can order food and they will deliver to your table. There's parking next door, but it can be challenging when it's busy.

A brewery years in the making, Magnify Medford finally opened its doors on July 19, 2025, joining Kings Road, Farm Truck and Lower Forge for a whopping 4 breweries all within a half mile of each other on the same street. I've never been to the Fairfield location in North Jersey, but I've had plenty of Magnify's beer over the years and was pretty excited when I heard they were coming to Medford. We finally got the chance to stop in around 5:30 on a Friday night. The new building is huge and beautiful, though it does stick out as it doesn't quite match the historic aesthetic of its neighbors in a very historic downtown. I was surprised at the decision to have such high ceilings. In such a large, open space, it was incredibly loud and echoey. It is anything but intimate. It was packed when we arrived, with tons and tons of families with small children. You can only get beer at the bar, and there was a line all night, sometimes reaching all the way to the door. They don't do flights, and the smallest available size is 9 oz. Which will run you $4 - 5. My girlfriend and I tried 9 oz. pours of the So Fresh So Clean (cold IPA), the Citra Act (hazy IPA), Good Things Take Time (hazy imperial IPA), and the Froot Stripez (imperial sour ale). I did not care for the Froot Stripez - tasted too watery to me - but all others were excellent. We bought a four pack of the Good Things Take Time to bring home with us. Also of note: they charge a 2.99 service fee for all credit card transactions, which strikes me as odd given the size of this operation. Bottom line: the beer here is excellent, the surrounding town is wonderfully quaint, and the possibility of a brewery crawl all make this a worthy addition to your bucket list NJ breweries.

Huge addition to Main Street in Medford. We've been so excited about the news of Magnify opening in Medford as this established brewery will continue to bring life to Medford. The space is very large and can hold plenty of people. Small tap list during their soft opening but all the beer I tried is great. I'm excited for Magnify to continue to add new brews to their menu. We tried the Main Street Hazy IPA, Vine Shine, Froot Stripez Imperial Sour, and Born Puft Imperial Stout (which is a collab with Barreled Souls and brewed with cake batter & marshmallow - PHENOMENAL!!). Although I enjoyed all the beer I tried tonight but I'm going home with a bottle of the Born Puft. Both bartenders provided great service despite the venue being crowded on a Monday night!! Can't wait to visit again soon.

We were finally able to visit for the first time last weekend. Perfect day to sit outside. It's a great space with fun beer options. Loved my Watermelon Sugar beer. We'll def be back soon! Yay to a good brewery opening nearby!

Service was great! Our beertender Mackenzie was super sweet & helpful guiding us to which beers would suit us best. The beers were delicious and the spot was super nice! Modern, clean, bright and airy. Everyone was friendly and we loved meeting all the pups coming & going! Kids had a great time as well. The taco truck wasn't opened which wasn't reflected on Google but it was a short walk to grab a bite down the street. Super cute area!

Such a great space! The beer is cold and the service is quick, we got a table when we arrived even tho the place was packed. The line to order moved really quickly and the Maine Event was perfect on this hot day. I was so happy for the food truck too, the tacos were delicious. The women's restroom was super clean and the toilet paper was so soft! Not the crappy 1 ply stuff usually at bars. Can't wait to come back here next weekend. Try the vine shine!

Newest addition to the brewery scene in Medford. Nice selection of beers, food truck(s) available for some grub while you taste the offerings from the brewery. Great indoor and outdoor seating and live music and events. Fast friendly service!

We really enjoyed it here! I tried Flannel Season and it was very good. They also had a Shirley temple seltzer that is on my list to try next time. There are a good amount of tables, but it can get busy. We look forward to returning!

Nothing great. Feels like you're in a food court as the main room as so big and empty feeling. It was cold and very uninviting.

The location is perfect - right on Main Street in the historic downtown area. There's a pleasant vibe in the tasting room with a variety of seating including a few leather couches. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They offer events like monthly trivia and monthly karaoke. But the beer. Sigh... I just can't get into it. Now, I'm no professional beer critic. I wouldn't say I have a discerning palate capable of detecting subtle notes of hop varietals. And taste in beer is of course subjective. So take this with a grain of salt. But I have definitely had a lot of beer in my life, and I just didn't enjoy the beer here. When I came here in July of 2022 for the first time in awhile, I had a flight and didn't enjoy what I had, but I wanted to give them another chance. But when I came back over a month later in August, they hadn't introduced a single new beer in that time. The menu only had six beers and two seltzers on tap. Of the beers I tried, the Troubadour (porter), Winter Witch (golden stout) and the Healthy, Wealthy and Weizen all lacked enough flavor and just seemed too watery to me. The Piney Punch (radler) was on the opposite end of the spectrum with loads of pineapple flavor. This was the one decent beer of the bunch, if pineapple beer is your thing. The last beer I tried was the Jabberhoppy, an Imperial IPA with 100 IBU meant to "showcase a balance at the upper limits of bitterness. This is a double IPA that packs together six of our favorite hops..." Where do I begin to describe this one? It was certainly interesting and unique, but not in a good way. Too bitter, not enough flavor, maybe just too many different hops for its own good. It just didn't taste like a normal double IPA. And this is certainly nitpicky, but the beer didn't seem cold enough when it was served. So overall, if you want a nice spot to hang with friends, maybe do some karaoke, this place is perfect. But if you're after excellent beer with more complexity, you might need to try elsewhere.

Everything was chopped evenly and broiled to perfection. I did get a decent amount of clam. The description says bacon but I'm glad it wasn't big pieces of crispy bacon. It almost seemed like pancetta. I wish I took a picture. They are a little greasy so I'm not sure why they serve them with a side of butter. I think that's a waste. I ordered the Reuben for my entree and upgraded from chips to potato salad. This was an amazing choice. One of the best Reubens I've had in awhile. I was nervous at first seeing the thick bread but it all came together. It wasn't greasy at all. The corned beef was crispy which made it easier to bite. Who hates trying to bite through tough corned beef???? The amount of sauerkraut was perfect. One half of my sandwich had the perfect amount of dressing. The other half was dry. I usually ask for a side of dressing but didn't this time. I am so glad I upgraded to potato salad. It's only $1 extra and I highly recommend. This reminded me of my family recipe. This sandwich comes with chips and I'm not sure what that means. I'm not a huge potato chip person.

Hard to tell exactly when it opened, as their website offers scant information, but they first started posting on Facebook in 2011 if that is anything to go by. They don't have a large footprint in the NJ brewing scene as they don't distribute to any liquor stores or bars/restaurants (they don't even offer beers in cans to go), and they don't do any big events other than the typical karaoke or trivia nights. What they do offer is a nice place to hang out in an old historic building right on the Main Street in the downtown area, and a solid lineup of beers. One thing that makes them stand out is a great selection of beers on nitro. From my experience with NJ breweries, you're lucky to find a single beer on nitro. At Village Idiot there are seven of them, most of them dessert stouts like a cookie butter white stout and a salted caramel milk stout. All that we tried were delicious and not crazy high in ABV like other dessert stouts. Flights are only $10 which is pretty cheap compared to other NJ breweries. Of note is that as of November 2025 they no longer allow outside drinks including water bottles like Nalgenes and Stanley Cups. Too many idiots sneaking in alcohol, according to their social media. Overall it has a bit more of a dive bar vibe only frequented by locals rather than a traditional NJ brewery, but the beer is definitely good enough, and the surrounding Main Street charming and quaint enough that I would definitely return.

Decent sized parking lot, and a nice little tasting room inside. Nice decor and variety of seating, including authentic German beer garden tables and benches. It was pretty dead when we visited, just six people at the bar who all appeared to be locals. The bartender was quick with service but didn't engage with us further. $7 pints and $9 flights of four 4 oz beers. There were 9 beers on tap and one seltzer when we were there. We each had a flight so we got to sample most of what was on the menu. Unfortunately we didn't really like most of what we had. The Mexicali Brews (a mojito Pilsner) was definitely interesting in that I've never seen a beer like it before. It was the best of my flight. The Galway Girl (Irish red ale) seemed too watered down, the Stalk n' Hops (cream ale) was just ok, and the Gravity Storm (DIPA at 9.45%) was, I hate to say, atrocious. The Double IPA is by far my favorite style of beer, and this was too watery and had a bitter aftertaste without any of the smooth, nuanced hop flavor I've come to expect from other DIPA's. Most breweries will offer a brief description of their beers, including intended flavor profiles, hops used, etc, but there was none of that here so it was hard to tell what they were going for and what went wrong. If you're local, I'm sure this is a nice place to hang out with some friends and beers. They do a lot of fun events including food trucks and live music.
