I highly recommend the acoustic vibration table for those who are squeamished about being touched or are energy sensitive. I truly enjoy letting my mind escape into itself while the reverberation of music designed to relax your muscles and your mind echos through every fiber of your being. When living in San Diego, I did trade with a client for use of her VT table and am so lucky I found one here in the Vegas Valley and so close to me. *fate* The studio itself is cozy, featuring a massage table, the VT table and low ambient lighting for those who are photo sensitive (personally I loathe bright lights in any "relaxation" experience.) The hospitality and positive energy from the staff is always a welcomed escape from the everyday flavorless experiences when dealing with society. I highly recommend making the Vibro Acoustic Table experience at Mother Earth Holistic Arts Studio in Henderson a monthly part of your life - if not weekly. REASONS TO VISIT: 1. Plenty of Parking 2. She's incredibly intuitive, in tune with your body, and somehow manages to find every knot without you saying a word. I'm so grateful to have found a massage therapist who's not only highly skilled, but also kind, professional, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She's also trained in cupping and hot stone therapy, which adds another layer of relief and relaxation to her sessions. She knows exactly when and how to incorporate these techniques to maximize the benefit, and it always feels amazing. My husband and I actually found Heather through a Groupon about ten years ago when we booked a couple's massage at Massage Customs. At the time, he wasn't thrilled--he thought massages were "weird." But after that first visit, we were hooked. We started going once a month, and eventually he bumped it up to every two weeks! With both of us working in high-stress, professional environments, seeing Heather regularly has made a huge difference in our overall wellness. Beyond massages, we've had great conversations about nutrition, health, and even shared some of our favorite books on mental wellness. She's thoughtful, knowledgeable, and just one of those people you feel lucky to have in your life. I can't recommend Heather enough--she's hands down the best massage therapist in town, and you will not be disappointed.
