Magical fun for all! We have passed MagiQuest many trips, until this last visit we decided to go for a date. My husband and I had the best time, completing quests and racing against the clock! It was a fun and immersive experience. It reminded me of the interactive experiences they have at the wizarding world of Harry Potter in universal. Would highly recommended for people of all ages! We did the three attractions and the extra money on the arcade cards and the total was just shy of 200$. The kids had a blast doing the wand experience and the mini golf. The mirror maze was a little short and only took up about five minutes to find our way out. The arcade had fun games and the prizes values were within reason. Great value for a family of 4! We spent about 4 hours there and did everything but the mirror maze. Kids had a great time and enjoyed the putt putt course most. Magiquest was fun however our youngest son (4) lost interest halfway through and his wand stopped working. Since some items don't allow you to activate if they aren't part of your quest, it does create a challenge and some frustration but that's part of it. My children have loved MagiQuest since the first time they played it at a Great Wolf Lodge. So when we found out that there was a MagiQuest in Pigeon Forge, we made sure to visit. My kids brought their own wands, but a rental wand comes with the price of admission if you don't have your own. Once you get your wands, you head upstairs and start your quest! The whole upstairs area is all MagiQuest. There are people around to help if you get stuck on a clue, and there is lots of room to walk around. What they don't tell you about MagiQuest is that you will be doing a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. You have an hour to complete as many quests as you can, but if you're in the middle of a quest at the end of the time, you can finish it up. You can also pay extra for more time by the half hour. By the end of the hour, my kids were exhausted and happy. Downstairs, you'll find an arcade and a glow-in-the-dark mini golf course that's pirate themed. You get a round of gold with admission. We visited at the end of the day and absolutely no one was in the putt-putt place, so we had it all to ourselves. It was a fun little activity to finish our time here at MagiQuest. read more

MagiQuest might be the best $100 a family can spend in the area. We bought the family package online - 60 minutes of quests with loaner wands, 18 holes of black light putt putt, a really cool mirror maze, and 48 arcade credits (3-4 games/person) for 4 people. Our 7 and 9 year old had the best time solving riddles and can't wait to return. Pro-tip: arrive early if you can. We were there within an hour of opening and practically had the place to ourselves, but it got pretty crowded by the time we left - would have required more waiting! read more

My boys (6,10,10) have been waiting years to attend Magi Quest. We go to the ones at Great Wolf Lodge throughout the year but this was the actual venue. They absolutely loved it and we have been multiple times on our trip. You can get a 30 minute pass, 60 minutes or all day. The 30 minutes is not long enough in our option and the game saves where you left off. They also have an arcade, mirror maze and put put. I arrived here around 4:30pm on a Monday afternoon while on vacation. I bought combo tickets online for my party of 5. The family pack (4 people) for $99 and the an additional general combo ticket for $25. The combo we got was for 60 minute quest, arcade credits, mirror maze, and putt putt. We did the 60 minute quest first. It required registration. Each party had to give name, date of birth, and pick a wizard name. This was interesting. We didn't finish though. There is an option to buy more time, but we didn't do that. It was busy. A plus is that there is staff around to hell during the quest. Afterwards, we did the mirror maze and it was fun. You get gloves to touch the mirrors. It was kinda difficult. We definitely went in circles. We started alone and then other people joined. I teamed up with another party and we found the way our haha. I led my group out. It was really funny because the other adult in my party saw me and the way out and started running. But the way the mirrors are set up, it's a trick. So they ran right into one, LOL! For the arcade credits, we got 8 credits per person which is really 2 games as most arcade games is 4 credits. So, that was kinda crappy lol. After the arcade games, we played putt put, which was the last aspect of the combo. It was really cool, honesty. It was glow in the dark. We left around 7:30pm. Not bad for 4 activities and 3 hours there. I would recommend! I'd suggest 1.5-2 hours for the quest though. read more

What a great way to start our morning. friendly helpful staff is always a plus. We started with pirate golf around 10:50 Amd breezed through it with no waits (Tuesday) then went up to the scanner hunt, boys 11 And 14 had a great time. Bought them wands to save their progress since we visit the area once a year. I will say it got super crowded by 1pm up in the quest area which is kind of a deterrent but if you start earlier it wont be bad. Not enough to take away stars. Would be nice if they capped the number of people allowed up there at a time. Mirror Maze was short and sweet. Wouldn't pay for it on its own but glad it was included. We have one for our family and kids take turns doing quests. Return price for all day magiquest with your wand is around $25. We went here today for the second time and had just as much fun. If you enjoy riddles and wizardry, you should definitely check this place out. The four of us (2 adults, a 14 year old, & a 13 year old) loved it. The 'castle' actually houses the MagiQuest adventure, Pirate Golf, and an arcade. You can find a $3 off coupon in some of the coupon books found as you go into Walmart, but to use the coupon you have to do a combo package of all three. We only did the MagiQuest adventure upstairs this time, but we have done the Pirate Golf in the past and enjoyed it. The arcade looked really nice as well. Also, if you've played before, you can start back where you left off without having to start all over. If you buy a wand, you can use it at any MagiQuest location and keep up with your progress. My son bought one with a dragon on it the last time we were here, and he used it to play today too. Keep in mind though that reading is required to play the adventure, so young kids who can't read yet, may not enjoy it as much. Of course, you could always work together on the same quest at the same time and still enjoy it. That's what we did our first time, because my son wasn't sure what to do at first. My kids (3, 6, 8, 10) had a great time here recently! We did MagiQuest, pirate mini golf (indoors), and the mirror maze. All of the activities were fun and my kids loved our day here! The MagiQuest area was pretty well spread out, and it was helpful that you could pick quests in any order, and do it at your own pace, but it was quite crowded, so we had to wait for stations a few times. Nothing too crazy, but I highly recommend going at a non-peak time, so you aren't wasting your time waiting for others. Also, sometimes it took several tries to get some stations to respond to our wands, which also ate up our time. *There is no way you can do everything in MagiQuest in an hour and a half* so just know you will leave unfinished. We did MagiQuest, left for lunch, and then came back for the other things. Everything you pay for is loaded on a play card, so you can come and go without feeling like you have to use it all at once. read more

It was a little hard for me to understand at first. The initial instructions given by the staff weren't clear. When you go to Magi training they give you a loaner wand or you can buy one. You go into a room for training where they show you how to use your wand and what the goal is of the game. After training you go to some touch screens and decide which runes you want to earn. After earning the needed runes you can go on an adventure. Adventures are basically defeating a foe. read more

But other than that it's good and I if you love Harry Potter or like it, I would recommend Magi Quest. This surprisingly impressed me. I see how kids can spend hours finding their quest items. And the game saves your progress in your wand, that you can bring it back year after year. We saw toddlers to grandparents all working to solve riddles and find pieces - and it's so cool that within three rooms you can work towards a dozen or more quests. Even though it's an older building it doesn't have much wear and tear. And everything worked as it should and without difficulty. Honestly, their system is TONS better than Universal's Harry Potter, which did not work for over half the designated "magical" places where the wand should have activated something. I'll take this over that any day. Our kiddo is much more satisfied with this experience. Additionally, staff is great at helping with clues instead ruining the mystery and flat out telling you the answer. We just had a birthday party here for my granddaughter. This place was awesome for all the kiddos. Not everyone participated in every event, but it was super cool that the birthday party package came with everything. Michelle was super responsive and friendly while planning the party and they left plenty of cups, plates, napkins, and silverware in the party room so we didn't have to bring them. They also left a little "gift" for my granddaughter filled with fun stuff & candy. She was thrilled! I will admit that the party room is really loud with terrible acoustics when you have several excited children, but that only lasted for an hour and everyone spread out to do their own thing. My daughter wants to bring her kids back for a full day of the MagiQuest game because they liked it so much. For the party package, they collect a small deposit and you don't have to firm up the number of people in attendance or the extras until you're actually there the day of. This worked out well for us as we forgot to get Capri Suns for the kids to drink. We were able to add the beverage package on at the last minute, and it was plenty for everyone. Super friendly staff and kid friendly environment. I highly recommend a magical party here! read more

This place is a total joke and rip off. So for the MagiQuest part ... sensors on their stuff don't work half the time. They purposely make you waste part of your allotted time to complete the missions by watching videos you cannot skip. When the sensors do light up they still don't register on your profile and they overcrowd the place so you then wait sometimes greater than 10 minutes to scan stuff. Pirate Mini-Gold ... it was down so did not get to experience that. They gave us $5 off but still, in peak tourist season they cannot keep their mini-golf working. Arcade ... complete fucking rip off. You'd have a better time paying someone to kick you in the private parts. Overly rigged games, completely over.priced. Carnivals do not take advantage of parents as bad as this joke of a business does. They even have a game where you have to collect cards it dispenses. Problem is, if the game chooses to not give one then you cannot complete a set regardless of uou getting 3 or more of each other card. Therefore, they don't give put tickets so their creepy owners can keep your money. Oh and the food is overpriced movie theater snacks (movie theaters have better prices for the shit they serve). Their sodas are flat and their staff act all smug behind their counters. Worst part of the family vacation to Gatlinburg. Our kids picked to go here during our vacation, and the combo seemed to be a decent deal, plus we had a coupon. I think we paid $30 per kid for 4 attractions - 90 minutes of MagiQuest, the mirror maze, the lazer maze and a round of mini golf. Oh - and they got to keep their magic wand. Not too bad. The kids had fun running back and forth and doing their quests. I didn't understand it - and tried to follow them around, but got tired of it and just stood off the side upstairs and waited for them. I don't understand why another reviewer said it would be $6 to follow their kids through. There was no charge for us to accompany our children. It was just more annoying than anything - for us, and for our kids. Everything is upstairs on that level - the 3 different "rooms" - so it's not like they could go anywhere without being noticed. The only thing we couldn't go in with them was the mirror maze & the lazer maze, which was completely understandable. We just waited outside of these attractions for the kids. As for the mini golf - we were right there accompanying the kids the entire time as well. They were al so nice and let us wait inside and my kids run around while they finished setting up. We signed up to do it all and my kids and i all had the best time. Best value for families with kids around - without a doubt. $23 gets an hour of MagiQuest, mini-golf, mirror maze, and their laser game. In our case, we only paid that for the kids. The adults only paid for mini-golf ($10 per person). Adults can help/play along with the kids during MagiQuest, and if your kids aren't independent (at least 12+ I'd say) then adults won't be able to play really anyways. The mirror maze is fun - but it's just that, a mirror maze that takes 10 minutes. The laser game is cool but only takes 1-2 minutes per person. Mini-golf is really well done and maintained. Indoors and with black lights, it's definitely a good place especially in the summer heat. read more

We went their mainly for the black light mini golf which was pretty fun. When we got out our 3 year old wanted to play a few arcade game so i decided to load the lowest package on the card which ended up being like 35-40 tokens. But each game you went to was like 4 tokens to play....even more if she wanted one of us to play with her. We ended up playing like 5 games and those tokens were GONE. We had actually went to a arcade earlier this week and it was like 1-2 tokens per game and we ended up spending hours in that arcade. My kids love this place. We've actually been twice in the past year. Scavenger hunt with magic wands?! What's not to love?! We actually got a little lost in the mirror maze. The mini-golf is fun. I didn't love the laser maze, but my boys did. I've had nightmares some angry ex-staffer releases the video mess of adults trying it, like myself, who probably shouldn't. I've visited MagiQuest twice now and have had the best time on both visits. Even as an adult it is so much fun and really brings out the kid kn me. It's really such a great value. I was swindled into going here by my two little seedlings who unfortunately never forget a promise!!! I promised them last year I would take them to MagiQuest next time we come to town, and well, here we are. I suppose there could be worse ways we could spend our money, like two years ago when our now 10 year old wanted to bungee jump off a tower. The problem with that was the company running the operation has a notice when purchasing your ticket that states: NO REFUNDS if you change your mind after reaching the top of the tower. Well, sure enough, we put too much faith into the plea's of a 8 year old. But considering we don't plan to return to Pigeon Forge for a while, we are allowing a little extra spending budget for this trip. MagiQuest is fairly expensive. $24.99 for one single person if you just do the Quest and $29.99 for everything (laser, mini-golf & mirror maze). There are also other add-on that make your kids plead on hands and knees and before you know it, you're around $75 per kid. We stayed frugal and did only the Quest, one wand topper (out of their own saved money) and I opted for the $5.99 charge to walk around with the kids during their 1.5 hour allotted time to finish the Quest. THAT'S RIGHT, for $24.99, you get 1.5 hours that WILL NOT allow you enough time to finish. But never fear, they have more ways to milk you of your money!!!! For another $12.50, you can come back for ONE HOUR the next day to hopefully finish your game. But then there are other add-ons like special keys to open additional rooms during your Quest, that of course "enhance your experience" and cost even more money. Face it, this city is a tourist trap loaded with vacuums to suck your money clean out of your pocket! If you come anywhere near THIS place with kids, you will literally hear the sucking noise as soon as you enter the parking lot. But it will be our last time for a while, as we turn our future vacations towards National Parks like Yosemite. NOTE: The Quest was more fun than I thought it would be, but still not worth the money in my opinion. The only thing that made it easier to stomach was the fact that Daddy did what Daddy said he was going to do. Can't put a price on that!!! read more
