WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge absolutely earned a 5-star review from me for the value alone. For one admission price, you get hours of hands-on fun: interactive science exhibits, the 4D motion theater, glow-in-the-dark ropes course, and unlimited laser tag and rides. It feels like more than just a "museum," and we easily could've spent half a day exploring and still not hit everything.What really stood out, though, was the military discount. As soon as we asked, the staff knew exactly how it worked, applied it with no hassle, and knocked a nice chunk off the total. That savings made a big difference for our group and turned an already good deal into a great deal.. Between the amount of stuff included in the ticket, the chance to replay laser tag and rides as much as you want, I honestly don't understand how anyone could rate this less than 5 stars. If you show up early, plan a few hours, and take advantage of the discount, it's one of the best values in Pigeon Forge. Try to plan the trip in the off season as it is nowhere near as crowded as it was doing the summer where it was too crowded to stand in line to get in. Ok, I had very high expectations. I had read a lot of great reviews, and with so many options from the same chain, it was hard to choose. My daughter was deciding between WonderWorks and Ripley's Aquarium, and honestly, I regret not choosing the aquarium. I expected this place to blow our minds, but it didn't. The attractions feel a bit outdated and could definitely use better maintenance, especially considering the amount of people they get every day. The best part was the laser tag -- everything else was pretty underwhelming. The 4D simulator was only partially working, and the glasses felt cheap. The earthquake experience was disappointing... my car on a straight road moves more than that. Plan to go with plenty of time, because between everything, time flies and you'll easily spend at least three hours inside. If you're thinking about going after 6 pm, I'd recommend leaving it for another day and going earlier. And if you're choosing between this attraction and another one... there's really not much to think about. read more

We recently went with two 5 year olds and an older infant. I wanted to like this place and staff was nice, but in the end, I found it VERY expensive for what you get for young kids. Wait times were long and we basically spent most of our time waiting at the ropes course which was cool, but the wait was almost an hour. Seems like the place overall is geared for maybe 8-14 years old. Would not recommend or return with young children, especially during busy seasons. read more

Spent 151 dollars for four people and the only enjoyable part was the brief upstairs part that had cool art pieces and illusion stuff. I think this place is very fun for small children, but it was also very crowded because of them. I wish online made it more apparent this is for kids and not just an illusion museum for non locals. We definitely had a good time there. We went to anakista a day before and would say this place is a lot funnier and a lot better value for your $. Located conveniently in Pigeon Forge, ample amount of free parking . Very interactive and kids had a blast. Would come and do it again next time in the area. Only thing that wasn't as nice was the food courts which had just the most basic food like hot dog and corndogs and pizza slices. They do offer a scavenger hunt book for kids to participate and find answers in the book and once complete can pick a present from gift shop. 4.5 stars. This was our second visit. First one we didn't get to enjoy for too long as we got there pretty late. This time was there by noon, our teenager loves this place. Lots of hand on and we had other family with us and their kids enjoyed it also. Staff were friendly. A great samaritan turned in my purse after I left it in an exhibit, everything still in it. Even before you step inside WonderWorks, you know you're in for a good time because the outside facade of the building is upside down. What! Then you enter the lobby and the lobby is upside down. This place is bananas! But don't worry: You're able to right the wrongs by going through the "inversion tunnel" to realign yourself and start your adventure through the museum. Whew. WonderWorks focuses mostly on science, education and entertainment. You'll find lots of hands-on exhibits for all ages. One of the big draws is the glow-in-the-dark ropes course, which is really cool and fun. My children also liked the weather area, which is where the "Earthquake Cafe" is located. This is an exhibit where you sit in a pretend restaurant booth you're shaken to all heck in a simulated earthquake. Upstairs, there's an interactive art space with optical illusions and other fun things. I liked the upstairs area of WonderWorks the best because it was quiet and calm. Many of the (loud) interactive things are on the first floor, and the (quiet) art area is on the second floor. After the art area is another loud area: an arcade! Then theres a laser tag arena (included with admission), and then you exit. WonderWorks is kind of a one-way jawn, so once you enter, you gotta keep going on to get through. You can't really exit from the entrance, as far as I know. I would say that WonderWorks is ideal for kids up to age 13 or so. My tween had a good time on the ropes course and a few other things, but it was my elementary-school kid who really loved WonderWorks. Your mileage may vary. In any case, this is a fun place for families to visit in Pigeon Forge. read more

We had a wonderful time here with our kids during our vacation. Yes, the tickets are pricey, but plenty of things to do for kids. I highly recommend purchasing tickets online to save a few bucks. Right away my kids loved the entrance. The service throughout the place was very friendly. There are a lot of things to do no matter what you're into. The ropes course is great for older kids and the bubbles exhibit is great for the younger ones. There is food at the end of the visit but we skipped since we had already had a long enough visit. If it's raining during your visit I would highly recommend stopping by to keep the kids busy. read more

This attraction is amazing, fun, very well priced! For the price of the ticket you have free rein of the entire place. The rides, rope course, simulations are free with a purchase of ticket! They have actives for all ages, spend 3 hours in this place and had an amazing time! I enjoyed the theater experience, my fiancé enjoyed the roller coaster ride. Pretty expensive for what WonderWorks has to offer. It took about an hour and 10 minutes for my girlfriend and I to move through the exhibits. Our favorite thing was the inversion tunnel you immediately walk through after checking your tickets. Multiple exhibits were broken such as the multiple Flight simulators. During COVID laser tag and another exhibit are closed. We agreed it wasn't a waste of time but it definitely could be considered a waste of money for ~$30 each. read more

I'm 23 and went with my parents while on vacation. We spent hours inside and got to go on one "ride". The lines were long and the employees move very slow. It's definitely a place for middle schoolers/tweens and their parents. Spent $35 dollars a person for a very boring time. Wear sneakers if you go because almost everything doesn't allow open toed shoes. They weigh you on certain rides so if you're weird about that, don't go. read more

If your child is autistic, has sensory processing disorder, or simply needs a little flexibility, do not waste your time or money at WonderWorks. This place is a sensory nightmare--blaring noise, flashing lights, chaotic crowds--and the staff? Utterly unhelpful and shockingly rude. We asked simple, reasonable questions about accommodations, and were met with eye-rolls and condescension. There was zero compassion, zero effort, and absolutely no understanding of how to support neurodivergent children. For a place that claims to be educational and family-friendly, the lack of basic human decency was appalling. This isn't just disappointing--it's offensive. There are far better attractions in Pigeon Forge that don't make children with disabilities feel like they're a problem. WonderWorks should be ashamed of itself. read more

Let me start with this place could easily be great...but. I hate doing that, because we really had a great time. We were, however, on top of people. The need for times tickets, even if slightly more expensive, is palpable. We went on a Friday,but the weather was not great. If the fire department showed up, it would have been shut down. The other negative, perhaps due to the overcrowding, there was a good bit of items which needed repair. Several things did not work. . The gift shop was a bit disappointing for such a cool facility. Last negative, the flow is made to go one way. It is not made to go backwards easily. WonderWorks, many of these are doable fixes. So, now to what made it still worth it. The outside was so cool. There were a few areas set up for pictures. The ropes course, climbing wall, rides, and laser tag are all included. For many places like this those cost extra. My child had never done a climbing wall or a ropes course. We got up on the ropes and he didn't want to do it. I liked that I hadn't paid an extra amount for something which he would not do. There are a lot of really cool experiences, but some need additional employee maintenance, such as the bubbles which needed more water and solution added. I do not regret it at all. We truly enjoyed it but I think it could be the best kids' place in the area. read more

We decided to give this place a try while on vacation in Tennessee. Our kids are 14, 12, and 9 and seemed to be the perfect age to enjoy Wonderworks. They all really enjoyed it! The museum is set up like a trail you walk through, and you can stop and do different activities as you go or choose to skip. They have science demos, rock climbing walls, high ropes, gyroscope, and other cool displays. My youngest loved the giant bubble makers and the bed of nails. The bigger kids enjoyed the self propelled ride that takes you upside down and the dance image area. We spent about 2.5 - 3 hours inside and even ended the day with the laser tag. My 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price and the lines. The price seems kind of high for a family, and lines for certain things were just too long - We never got to do the high ropes course because the line just wouldn't move. They don't have a set time limit per person, so you just have to wait until someone decides to quit and come down. For a rainy day activity on vacation, I think this is still a good option, just try to find an off time or off day so that the lines are manageable. read more

We came in on a Sunday (Father's Day). It was fairly busy, but we had no idea what to expect. We had 4 adults and 3 children (7,5,18 months). There was SO MUCH to do! The 7 year old was able to do just about everything inside and boy did he want to do it all. When you think of Wonderworks you probably immediately say it's a big tourist trap. Even though it is true, it is worth checking out.
