I brought my 12 y/o (turning 13 in 3 weeks) daughter for her first ever brow shaping experience. I get threading (not here yet but will be next time I bring my kid) but she was so nervous about the pain she wanted to try waxing first and specifically hard wax vs wax/ linen strips. We went in around 10:45 no appointment and while there was a wait (4 girls ahead of us) it was so worth it. I didn't get the lady's name but I know it wasn't Nadia because all these other clients were clamoring over when Nadia was showing up etc. Anyhow, once we were up I told the lady it was her first time and we wanted to shape them but keep them thick and natural and wanted to wax vs threading. This lady was sssoooooo sweet and kind and assured us we were in good hands...even though she had me hovering over her as I wanted to make sure my baby girls eyebrows would be excellent. She waxed her brows, trimmed them then went in with the thread to give her beautiful clean definition. We also waxed her upper lip and again she went in with the thread to make sure it was super clean. I wish I would've asked her name but I felt a little rushed since it was getting packed and I could feel the daggers from the others since I'm sure we took too long for them (eyeroll goes here). They do take cards but have a sign they prefer cash over card due to the high fees (which I'm assuming their merchant services provider charges them 2.5-3.00% per transaction plus batching fees) so luckily I had cash. A whopping $17 for all this care and detailed treatment of my lil girls brows. I'm a super happy mom. We got a punch card and next time we're both getting cleaned up here. I'm so glad we came here, I searched and searched for the place with the best reviews around me that was also budget friendly and didn't require an appointment weeks in advance. I found this place a couple weeks ago on yelp. I walked in just for an eyebrow wax. There were two ladies working, I didn't catch their names but I watched both of them do threading for several people so I decided to give it a shot and I love it!! Why have I never done this before! They are very affordable, offer other services and they are so friendly!! Though they do take credit cards they prefer cash. Now I am a bit over the top with the level of expectation I have grown accustomed to receiving, even in the worst of scenarios, if you understand what I mean.. Even though it was past her closing time and my eyebrows have basically been beyond salvagable for the past 12+ months, she was very accommodating and when she realized the level of perfection I'd be satisfied with she tried achieving it to the best of her abilities. I'd expect even the most seasoned esthetician would have a difficult time pleasing herself let alone me bcuz of how f&*$ed up my eyebrows were.. I believe in a couple months of seeing her every other week no one could even tell how horrid they were for so long. So Amy isn't here anymore. But that's okay! I got my brows done by Annie, and she did such an AMAZING job. I'm always hesitant of trying new people, but a lot of people were requesting her. I actually prefer her more! I definitely trust the people Nadia hires. I tend to ditch threading places because once the business becomes successful with the owner, they tend to hire mediocre threaders. But not this place. I went today to get my eyebrows done at this place specifically because it shows 5 stars. I went in with full eyebrows hoping to get the same shape I usually go for which is full/straight but with a light curve to them towards the end with a sparse box shape to them from the beginning part of the brow. I've been going to some other place for about a year now but the girl has unfortunately moved so I decided to give this place a shot. I went in with high expectations I even showed the person who did my eyebrows a picture for her to get a better pricedeal of what I wanted and I left very disappointed. I enjoyed coming here since I just moved to the area and found it. They did an amazing job. I was happy with everything until I came in to get my eyebrows threaded and I was with a friend. There was two of us waiting and two employees working. One employee was done with a customer so she took my friend to do her brows, then comes another customer as a WALK IN and no appointment let's make that very clear. the other employee went to take her before me, even though i was waiting before her and after the other employee verbally stated that i had been waiting. it just didn't seem fair especially since then they tried to cover up that she had gone and come back, but by the way she said she was going to come back again to get her eyebrows done because she didn't need them right now, it was clear she was just friends with the employee and i didn't appreciate the whole interaction, especially since i was the only one waiting, she didn't sign in, and she walked straight to the chair read more
