I've been going to magic straight salon with my mom since I was about 6 years old and I'm 20 now. I can definitely say that the stylists are like family to me and they are so charming and very outgoing. Im glad that I was raised around them and their salon, my hair was always so smooth and very well cut. As I got older it was very hard to go all the way to pico Rivera because it was kind of far for me so I decided to try local places. Little did I know that it was no where near the same service and experience as magic straight salon. I've always been know to have super long and healthy hair and once I cut it somewhere else my hair was no longer growing the same way and I had a lot of split ends which I never had before. Thankfully I made my decision to continue going even if it was a little far it's so worth it and I get to see my favorite stylist! Their work is so beautiful and you could definitely see their passion for it. I 100% recommend to anyone who needs a hair stylist and I can promise you that your experience will be amazing. These guys are the best. They pamper you and are so sweet. They really know what there doing. I would recommend people to get there hair done here. Ok, I am SUPER low maintenance. I'm a bun/ponytail kind of girl. I don't have time and don't particularly enjoy doing my hair. My mother in law on the other hand always has her hair done. She takes very good care of her appearance and looks very good for her age. Whenever I need any type of service I go to her. She always guides me in the right direction. She has been going to see Carlos and Aaron for a while now. She constantly colors her hair and it always looks nice and her hair is never damaged. For a while she was dying her own hair and it looked... not great. She went to Carlos and Aaron and they fixed her right up! I have A LOT of hair. It's long and wavy and It grows very fast. Carlos has been cutting my hair for about two years now and my hair has never felt better! I have virgin hair so all I do is get it cut, but it's always a wonderful experience. The conversation is always good and we laugh a lot. Not only do I love their services, but they are both very good people. It's always great when you do business with someone who you know appreciates you. Carlos and Aaron make you feel at home. They offer you coffee or a soft drink while you're getting your hair cut. They always make you feel comfortable. He makes suggestions, but is not pushy. They are the best hair stylists I have ever been to and I will continue to go to them for as long as they continue to cut hair. Needless to say, EVERYONE NEEDS TO COME HERE. Prior to coming here I hadn't gotten a haircut in about 3 years. I had let my hair grow (reaching my lower back) because I had cut my hair to my ears due to another hair stylist frying my hair. I thought I was time to cut off my split ends and add some layers since my hair was starting to thin and lose volume due to my ends being dead. I was skeptical to cut it because of horrible experiences. I came across Aaron and Carlos and let me tell you...the BEST haircut experience I have ever had. Terrible place.. Supposedly closes at 8pm. And its 532pm and the guys there dont even open the door or tell you why the door is locked. So rude. Stood outside thw door for a couple minutes, rang the doorbell and he just started acting like i wasnt there and started messing with his phone. Great customer service. read more

Where to begin . First of all I wanted a aline Bob (diagonal forward ) . I gave a reference of a picture to what I want my hair to look like at my consultation. Second the stylist could not section my hair right (my hair was long mid-length to back). But of course there's not right or wrong way to cutting a Bob but I seen piece of hair sticking out and a lot of disconnection going on . my hair line at my neck, I got a burn from him using the clippers . I rather go to Regis if I'm going to pay $50 and not get my hair checked correctly and make sure the haircut was on point. By the way I'm a hairstylist so I know what I'm talking about. I really disliked my hair cut and the burn on my neck . To top it off he was talking inappropriately about sexual stuff like if he knew me well enough which I don't know him at all . I'm wondering if I should report it to the California baber and cosmetology web . read more
