Crepe was soggy soft, wayy too much nutella, strawberries were not fresh, drenched in a sugar syrup, staff spoke zero english, such a waste of $10. Would highly NOT recommend. Sure looks pretty but does not taste good. read more

Magic Pan - Creperies Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

30 minutes and counting waiting for my crepe. Two people ahead of me had to walk away from their orders (paid in full, never received crepe) in order to make their flight because of how long this is taking. If this takes another ten minutes I will have to do the same. Honestly at this point I'm not even mad, I'm impressed at how it's even physically possible to take 30 minutes to produce one crepe. read more

I have never been any where worse. Ever. Would zero stars if I could. At approximately 7am 10/28 my husband and I hopped off our red eye, starving, with twenty minutes until our connection. Our expectations were low, we needed something quick and filling. We were not greeted by staff. When I said "good morning" the cashier literally replied "what do you want?". No smiles, no professionalism or kindness. We received a thrown together, sloppy, mess of a sandwich while watching the same cashier spill hot coffee on another customer and then not even apologize or offering her aid. She asked for ice for her burn and was told they didn't have any. There was no cream or sugar. Not one staff member thanked us or even smiled. I should have walked away immediately. And we were not the only upset customers. read more

This is a review for their sweet crepe - I got the hazelnut crepe and added strawberries. $12 is a little steep for a crepe, but my flight was delayed, Dunkin was out of donuts (!) so I came on over here. This crepe hit the spot!! Fresh strawberries, generous chocolate, and their whipped cream was REAL. If you want/need to treat yo self, this is the place to go! read more

Ehhhhh just mediocre. I came in, excited by the generally upgraded food brands at DCA and by a fun concept like crepes taking center stage in Terminal C instead of a regular fast food or sandwich shop. Well unfortunately, it did indeed taste more m like "airport food" than "fun crepe stand". I got the turkey and Swiss with tomatoes on top. It was hearty but soooo oily and greasy. The turkey also didn't taste extremely fresh, and the tomato could have used some seasoning (just a teensy bit of salt or something) to brighten it up. This also hit that weird zone where it's not enough food to be a filling meal, but also too large to have two for a meal. Overall, don't expect too much - I recommend you see this place as a quick(ish) stomach filler rather than a good adventure. read more

When I saw a crepe place in the airport I got excited. However, they microwave some of their stuff and it left a lot to be desired as far as the flavor was concerned. I got the egg and veggie crepe. It was okay, That's just about it. Nothing to write home about. read more

-5 stars for service. Incompetent or just lazy??? Not sure, either way horrific. While on a layover, I decided to get an ice cream cone with sprinkles on it. Apparently the women either didn't hear me say sprinkles or didn't understand me. Regardless I paid and she gave me my ice cream. At this point I realized that she didn't put sprinkles on the cone so I asked her to add sprinkles. She stated she couldn't because it was 75 cents. I said no problem and handed her a dollar so that she could add the sprinkles. She told me that she couldn't add them now because it was too late. Clearly, I thought there was some sort of miscommunication because logically that doesn't even make sense; so, I asked if there was someone else I could speak with. Another women who appeared to be a "manager" of some sort walked over and I explained to her that all I wanted to do was add sprinkles to my ice cream cone. She also stated that it couldn't be added after the fact and that she would have to void the sale. This still didn't make much sense to me but I said ok could you just void the sale and then simply ring in another sale with sprinkles? Again, I would think this would be a fairly simple task for anyone with a half of brain. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, this "manager" stated she was unable to do this. At this point, I was so enraged with the shear stupidity and/or laziness that I just had to walk away. I can't believe that a business who is trying to make money wouldn't allow a paying customer to add something to their bill, I'm still completely baffled by this! Moral of the story avoid this place!!! Wait until they go out of business and maybe a different place will open up and they will hire somewhat competent employees ! read more

I ordered my food and was directed to an order number on the receipt that would be called when my order was ready. I waited a while and there didn't seem to be any other customers waiting for their food. My number was called and went to grab my food. One of the workers said something while turning away and I could not make out what was said. (The place is located in the gate area in a busy airport.) Since whatever was said was not clearly directed at me, I grabbed my food and sat down. About 5 minutes later, the staff started yelling at me saying I'd taken the wrong order. There was no attempt at figuring out what happened from my end, just yelling that I took the wrong order after they told me what it was, then glaring and walking away. I lost my appetite completely after that treatment, and I am utterly confused by what system they are using to ensure orders are correct and given to the right person. The food was also mediocre so this is not a place I will ever eat at again. read more

My daughter has been suckered by this airport creperie several times. How so? After the plain crepe is made the way you'd expect, the ingredients get added and it is microwaved to, for example, melt the Ham and cheese. This might be excusable if the crepes were cheap, but this being Reagan National Airport, everything is expensive. read more

Wow, this place is amazing! I cant believe airport food could be this good! My partner and I ordered the Santa Fe and Original Strawberry crepes, which were both egg-cellently crafted and tasty. This past weekend on our trip to DC we were delayed on both our going out and coming back flights. On our way to DC JetBlue systems broke down completely and on our return Sunday the weather played its part so our flight was delayed around an hour or so. As we had plenty of time to kill we had a light dinner and than decided to try this place which was serving a lot of different attractive desert options. As the choices were limited this was most probably the only option and boy they gotta improve tremendously. The 3 people behind the counter who were working were obviously over whelmed even though they had very light traffic plus I guess the ingredients used to make the crepes and sundae were not of high quality. Actually the sundae was just a regular cone and they were out of every topping option you would have liked. Recommendation: stay away it's a waste of Money until they improve. Also it's an airport but no excuse airports are improving food everywhere !!!!! read more

The Ham, Egg, and Cheese Crepe was large and hearty, but just tasted ok. It did quench my hunger, but I wasn't a huge fan.

Had an egg and cheese crepe which split with my 3 yr old daughter. Both of us got food poisoning, and pretty sure the crepe was the culprit. Service was also very slow. But having my daughter get sick obviously is terrible. Do not recommend. read more

If you're a restaurant at the airport and your sign says you serve breakfast from 5:00 AM, you really should be ready to serve at 5:00 AM. People have places to go and they can't stand around and wait. Also: crepes get cold when you let them sit around before putting in the filling. And then when you heat them back up in the oven or microwave, that kind of defeats the point of fresh crepes. The filling should be placed in the crepe while it's on the griddle. I mean, it's kind of nice that you can get crepes at the airport, but they need to be ready for airport travelers. read more

Now I know to make sure that crepe places make their crepes from batter rather than just heat up a pre made crepe. It was the best chocolate and banana crepe I had In a while. Leaving DC on an early flight so we were looking for a breakfast that would tide us over for a while and we happened upon this place. Interesting concept. You pick your crepe and they make it in front of you. We opted for the Santa Re - a crepe filled with eggs, pepper jack cheese, red peppers, onions, black beans topped with salsa, guac and sour cream. The make in front of you took a little longer than expected but the line did move. The three staff behind the counter worked hard, but making one crepe at a time didnt seem efficient. It was served hot and it was a filling meal. It was good, not amazing, but good and I may try it again, but there are other options in close proximity. There are plenty of seats with charging stations. I don't recall being asked of it was to go. I was expecting to have it served in a to go container but it wasnt. Rather, it was on a cardboard type plate so sitting and eating there is a must. read more

Yelp cliche warning: Meh. Yeah, that's what this place should be called. I think they get you from the smells of hot crepe. I'm glad I had lots of time to kill while waiting for my parents' to arrive. Otherwise, if I had a flight to make, I would skip this place. The service was slow as molasses, and there were only two other people in front of me. I ordered a plain crepe with cinnamon. Simple, right? Well, they started making mine and then added another customer's order to mine and then tried to tell me I can take that one if they scrape off the other customer's toppings. What the what? Uh, no. I see you making a new one, so I'll just take that and you can not not re-do someone else's order. Duh. read more

We had an early flight and wanted something for breakfast that was quick and easy. We both had the ham, egg, and cheese crepes at The Magic Pan. Portions are generous-- we could have easily shared one. Service was quick, and one of the things that impressed me the most was it was clean! They constantly wiped down the tables. I would definitely eat here again, but next time I want to try one of their sweet crepes. The coffee was good, too, and the orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. They were pricy, but that is almost a given at any airport concession. read more

Channeling Paris as I wait on my flight. I had a delicious banana and caramel crepe at this airport spot. It's a nice little reprieve amongst the airport chaos and the folks here are friendly and the crepes (at least the one I had) are delicious. DO NOT frequent. They cannot get orders correct. They then hold you hostage and refuse to give refunds while time ticks away to your flight. They also overcharge for orders. Tried this place twice. Shame on me. NEVER again!!! read more

I was so excited for a crepery at the airport. This place is slow-- seriously, its like they have never cooked a crepe and are oblivious to the fact they are in an airport. Employees are not nice or polite. Not a fan of the technique. They cook the crepe dough and then transfer to a plate and add the ingredients on top. By the time i got it, it was cold. I order a coffee and it had like a solid inch of space at the top. Not worth $13. read more
