Instructions were given on where the key would be and where to place it, those directions didn't get followed and then they said I didn't give them key instructions. The basement wasn't cleaned due to them being worried about the dog. They claimed they couldn't find the light switch. The light switch is at the top of the steps and there's another set at the bottom. Dog was secured in the crate the entire time. Not once did anyone call and ask about the light switch, they didn't ask if it was safe to go downstairs and instead of just saying they messed up, they wanted to argue. In addition to that, there is a light right at the basement door before you open it, had they turns it on, they would've seen the switch ‍. My gut tells me they forgot or kissy didn't want to do it. It's terrible service, they did a very basic job and I do not recommend ever. ‍

I told them that I had a job interview and then would be seeing clients from home and could not be interrupted during specific hours, and they promised they'd arrive beforehand. They were over two hours late and interrupted my meetings. After the "cleaners" left, I noticed that several areas had been missed, including basics like trash not being emptied and my tub and shower were not cleaned at all. I was able to catch a few of these areas before they left and they did clean them, but there were several more to the extent that I needed to clean after they left, defeating the point of hiring cleaners. They also charged me more than originally quoted. When I texted the person I originally met and scheduled with (who was not there), he apologized and said he had been made aware of the issues and would make it next Friday to clean before my birthday party. The next Friday, he texted me after he was due to arrive saying he was overbooked and asked if he could come the next day. I told him he could not and never heard back from him. Nervous he wouldn't come at all, I then said he could come early the next morning. I never heard from him and had to skip my birthday brunch to clean my house for the party later that day. Long story short: extremely unprofessional, unreliable, and dishonest. DO NOT HIRE! What kind of company admits that they ripped you off then does nothing to fix it? UPDATE: the owner contacted me to threaten me for posting reviews. Still no apology; just a threat. And to be fair, he did refund half of the cost of the poorly done cleaning after I posted the review as well.

I hired this company specifically for a post-construction cleaning, and before booking I asked multiple times if they were experienced with post-construction cleaning. I specifically explained that I expected the ceilings, walls, window sills and tracks, light fixtures, inside and outside of cabinets, shelves, bathrooms, and all surfaces to be thoroughly dusted and cleaned because construction dust gets everywhere. They assured me they knew exactly what a proper post-construction cleaning involved. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. When they finished, it looked like many areas had never been touched. Construction dust was still covering window tracks and sills, shelves, mirrors, bathroom fixtures, countertops, shower walls, tubs, toilets, inside and outside of cabinets, and even decorative fixtures. There was still debris left on the floors, dust around plumbing fixtures, and residue throughout the bathrooms. The fine construction dust that I specifically hired them to remove was still everywhere. When I contacted the company, I expected them to make things right. Instead, the manager became argumentative, raised his voice at me, accused me of trying to take advantage of the situation, and refused to provide any refund. That level of customer service was just as disappointing as the cleaning itself. At that point, I had completely lost trust in the company. Although they offered to come back, I politely declined because I no longer had confidence that they would do the job properly, and I didn't want to waste any more of my time. I ended up starting the cleaning myself and now have to hire another company next week to finish the job correctly. We were planning to move into our home immediately because we have an upcoming trip, but instead I lost my entire morning dealing with this and still wasn't able to move in. I paid a premium expecting my home to be move-in ready after construction, but instead I was left with more work, more expenses, and a great deal of frustration. My interactions with Yliclean started in March 2025 and problem still not resolved and service not delivered. I purchased a Groupon for $130. I called to make an appointment for a cleaning and they said they might not be able to do it because my house is too big for the 2 hours I paid for. I explained that the cleaning do ace does not include the mother-in-law suite, and was told to call again. --I missed the expiration date by a week because of a car accident and the merchant was not able to arrange with Groupon to get me an extension. I had to call them myself at which time an extension was granted, no problem. I contacted the merchant with this information, at which she said that she would wait to hear from Groupon and get back to me. No answer for a few weeks. I reached out repeatedly to the merchant. As of today, she still has not had effective communication with Groupon to make sure she will be paid for service to me. I followed up several times. The only response I get is that only Groupon can fix this, which makes no sense. Groupon said the merchant can proceed since they approved the extension.... I totally wasted $130 for no good reason that I can see.

I looked under the scale we had talked about...dust remained. The floors were washed as expected, except nothing was touched that wouldn't be extraordinarily obvious. The outside of my staircase railing, the space under clocks, desks, lower window sills, cobwebs on legs of furniture, etc. we're left untouched. The price tag, approximately $80 to $90 per hour. Don't fall for the "house price", get an hourly rate for cleaning. Photos are a few examples of what was left behind. I have many more.
