In addition to other services, this company holds itself out as a gutter cleaning company. I have used them several times and am totally disappointed in their haphazard and lacksadaisical approach to this task. I have one troublesome downspout. I have explained this to every worker who comes out. They never really clean the gutters and have never undertaken cleaning out the clogged downspout. Nevertheless, they have been real quick to ask for payment, most of the time before they even go up on the roof (they will not put up a ladder near the downspout despite the fact that it is easy to get to and is my problem area). Would I use Naudus again? Never. Would I recommend them to others? Nope, not unless you want to pay for a service that they do not do in any way close to a workmanship standard. My fault is that I kept using them thinking they might finally repair my gutter. read more

This company has done my window washing over a number of years, as well as orchestrated replacement windows. Their window washing is outstanding. read more

We've used them for windows twice on a 4-story row house. We are very happy with the work they do. They sent two guys. They are efficient and move fast but the windows look great afterward. I wasn't thrilled to watch one them climb out on the ledge of our top story windows without safety gear but he was totally comfortable. They used a ladder to do the outside of the lower floors. We'll use them again next year. read more

They went up on the roof but did not actually clean out the gutters. We found this out soon after when we decided to get out the ladder and check the gutters ourselves. We found hunks of leaves and other debris blocking the downspout. We called to complain, and they came back and did a better job, but there were still bits of gunk along the gutter. We will not be using them again. read more

We requested our siding be cleaned/power washed. I arranged a time for an inspection and estimate. It was carried out on time and with different options. They were able to work our house in earlier than originally expected. The two employees doing work had proper covid gear and practiced social distancing when we were talking to them. read more

Gutters cleaned in two homes all they did was blow off the roof. Had to tell them to clean the walkway. They left a mess in the both homes. Save your $, BIG RIP OFF. They did offer a 10% discount told them the check was in the mail. They could have offered to do the job the correct way. Will make sure to never use them in the future. read more

Great company. Very trustworthy and they do an excellent job both for painting and for other general contracting work. We left the crew at home with a key for several days for painting and several handyman jobs. No problems and the work was all done very well and to our satisfaction. For painting the rates are more affordable and discounted with Duron paints as opposed to something more fancy like Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, or Olympia. read more

This guy must have been in the neighborhood doing a job. Decided to knock on my door because he liked one of the cars in the driveway. Insisted on leaving his name and number, Stanley, 703 231-0722. Totally sketchy, freaked wife out and when I called the number witch was so important to leave, never called back. I'd be careful. read more

Naudas can do anything you want them to do and do a terrific job. We started out with window cleaning. Then we moved to barn construction , replacing siding, bathroom construction, re-tiling, painting inside and out our house. The company even turned attic room into a playroom for children. The workers are fast and capable. read more

I had scheduled a gutter cleaning with this company and didn't think it'd be much of an issue since it was not a large project. I decided to give this company a shot especially after reading the Google and Yelp reviews which were fairly decent. Scheduling was easy so that was not an issue. When I called I was able to book an appointment about a week later between 11am to 2pm. They said someone had to be home during the cleaning so luckily my husband was able to work from home. The day of the appointment, I was notified that no one had come by the house yet and it was 3:30pm. I called the company and spoke to Earl who had said there was a big project in the morning so his guys were running late but were on their way. No apology and no phone call letting us know they were running late but fine, he said his guys were on their way so no biggie. When the workers did arrive, the lead worker was rude and unprofessional. I had contacted the company office again letting him know that the lack of professionalism was not alright and asked if there was a possibility of a discount of any sort. He said it's not up to him and it's up to his driver (lead worker) to price services - which seemed odd to me as the person I was talking to was the office. We asked the driver (lead worker) about possibly discounting down the cost and he said he doesn't deal with prices, that's the office's job. I called the office again and told him what his lead worker told me and the office simply said he cannot lower the cost and as the season gets warmer they get busier and it was his fault for giving me a time range of "11am to 2pm" instead of "after 11am" which apparently is what he tells his workers (definitely a big lack of communication between the office and the workers which can continually lead to issues such as mine). After I told him his lead worker was rude, he said that shouldn't have happened and would add a 10% discount. However, his workers finished the job in about 12 min (which may be the average time, I don't know so I'm not rating on how long it took to complete the job) and my husband had already paid them via check per their request. I guess I will see if they honor their word of the discount by sending me back the discounted amount, but I'm not holding my breath. When I got home, I noticed a roof shingle on my driveway, gutter leaves on my driveway, window ledges, deck, and side of the house. Overall, the company was not what I expected it to be. Unfortunately, I will not know if they did a good job on the gutters until the next rainfall (so I'm not rating on the work because I can't see how well it was cleaned) but company wise, I should not have had to call them multiple times regarding issues that shouldn't have happened in the first place if this company were professional and organized to begin with. I will most definitely never use this company again. read more

I bought a house in Vienna, and within the first few months the kitchen sink started spraying water EVERYWHERE. As a new home owner I had no clue who to call or really what to do. Luckily the previous owners left a list of all the services they had used over the years, and Stanley Naudus had originally put in the sink. I had remembered seeing their trucks around town so I gave them a call. They were so professional, and super nice about the whole sink issue. Turns out they had installed it recently, and came out to fix it free of charge. Flash forward a year and another sink debacle, coupled with a light-fixture removal hole in the ceiling issue, and another call to Stanley Naudus. This time they were a little harder to pin down, ie. waited for a call back, and then some mix up about when they were going to come to do the work. That said, the two workmen who showed up were super polite, appear very competent, and worked quickly. They noticed the big hole in my ceiling and offered to do the work while they were already here for the sink for just a little bit extra. I took them up on it and while it wasnt as precise as I would have done it, I did not have to spend 3 evenings doing the whole sand down, primer, paint rigmarole. That alone was worth the extra 70 bucks to me. I dont know much on how their prices compare to others in the area, but the service is friendly and has a nice home-town feel to it. I would totally recommend for handyman services, and I think they do kitchen/bathroom remodels as well. read more

Wham Bam thank you ma'am. Crew seemed to be in a race to get done. Made the man-hour rate over $70 for the job. Ok job on the panes, but left dirty smudges on the frames and sills. No better on the screens, which we paid extra for. There have to be better people who will do a better job at a better price out there. read more

Used this company to do our windows and were very disappointed in the work that they did for us this time. Had used them once in the past several years ago to do our windows and thought they did a reasonably good job. But this time, shortly after they were paid and left we noticed that the top part section of our largest window (a 2 x 3 foot section) in the dining room had cracked from the outside and was laying in the window box) which would have had to be reached by ladder (from where only the technician had access to it at the time). When we reported the broken window right away to the company, the manager sent the same worker out who had worked on the window and he denied breaking the window and was very hostile and disrespectful in his attitude. The following day we spoke to the company official directly about the broken window and he said it was our fault because we should have walked through all three floors of the entire house with the team and inspected all 15 of the windows that his workers had done before they left. No discussion whatsoever! That was it! Unfortunately he had not provided us with a contract with that caveat! On the same day we called in a window glass expert contractor who verified that the window had to have been broken from the outside and gave us an estimate of $450 to replace it! What customer service from the Naudus company! Thanks but no thanks for any further business from us with this firm. read more

Our windows were looking tragic and with a busy work and family schedule I couldn't find the time or desire to do them myself. My father-in-law recommended these guys. They wash windows (inside and out) for $6/each plus $1/more each for sills and screens. Really easy to get an appointment and they were friendly and helpful. Would definitely use them again. read more

Naudus has done a variety of projects for us -- painting, general handyman work, cleaning windows, cleaning gutters. It's all been great, timely and professional read more

Great experience with Naudus on June 18. Roberto was a phenomenal contractor. My windows hadn't been washed in years (decades?) and in an old colonial so you can imagine that the windows were sealed shut. Had all windows and glass storms removed and cleaned. They look fabulous even after the rain that we've had every day since then. Roberto was professional, trustworthy and efficient. Prices very reasonable. I've used Naudus for gutter cleaning for years and now we have another service to add to list. read more

Naudus has been working in our home for 30 years or more, and the fact that we have them back for so many things says it all. Window washing ... great care; power washing brickwork and walks .. amazing results; rug shampooing, efficient and careful; painting ... amazing attention to detail. They always leave our home better than they arrived, and they stand behind their work. Recommended. read more

I've used Stanley Naudus in the past and was pleased at first. From my view their performance deteriorated over the years. On last visit windows were not properly washed and one of the windows was badly scratched by razor blades. Although they ultimately had the damaged window repaired (it took multiple calls/visits), due to poor service, scheduling, and follow-through, I've removed this company from my recommend list. read more

I've used Naudus for window cleaning for over 20 years, and every time they visit I wonder why I waited so long to give them a call. They are courteous, always on time for appointments, and remarkably inexpensive. Best of all, they get 11 windows sparkling clean, inside and out, in about 30 minutes. It would have taken me all day. read more

I contracted multiple projects for the family room. 1) Remove brick veneer from wall; replace or repair drywall; 2) tile fireplace with travertine; 3) install crown molding; 4) build two window seats/storage benches either side of the fireplace. The drywall work was perfect. The two guys were clean, neat and very nice. The guy that tiled the fireplace worked hard, but did not do a very good job choosing or laying out the pieces, so the corners are quite noticeable - you can recognize the pattern. When he grouted the tile on the hearth, he really scratched it. It is quite noticeable. And I still don't understand why the overhang isn't uniform. It's half inch on one end and almost two inches on the other. The crown molding seemed okay, but as soon as the heat came on for the winter, the joints in the middle of the wall were not caulked, and separated, and had to be fixed. The biggest disappointment of all was the window seat/storage benches. Ar and I discussed 2 lift-top window seats with a piano hinge and decorative molding on the front. What I got looked like a child's toy box. No piano hinge, no decorative molding. And they installed shoe molding on the floor that a) didn't match the floor color, (floor was spice, not butterscotch) and they didn't even bother to remove the existing quarter round so they could miter the corners - they just "butted" them together. So unprofessional. I wrote all of this to the owner, and never heard back. My recommendation: If its drywall and/or painting, hire them - anything else, don't waste your money. I paid them a lot of money. I have pictures of the way they left it. read more

Long overdue review and I've never actually written a Yelp review. But the problems with their work just keep appearing. I hired them to do several repairs to my house this summer. It was actually weeks before they started despite assurances by the person giving me the estimate that he could fix a gutter that needed to be reattached to avoid water damage immediately. One of the other repairs involved replacing a large patch of missing drywall in the basement bathroom and repainting the room. They patched the drywall and repainted the whole room then brought me down to show me. At that point, they told me that there was a beam behind the drywall hole they patched that was rotten and would need fixing. In other words, rather than alert me to a problem that I would have wanted to fix, they told me when it was too late for me to ask them or someone else to fix it. It will now cost me more money to fix that problem than it would have before because the drywall will have to be removed and repainted. I also asked them to clear out a clogged gutter on my front porch and repair some damaged wood on the porch ceiling. Again, they did the work, painted over everything, and then told me that there was some rotten wood that they painted over that will need to be fixed. I would of course paid to have the work done properly the first time had they told me upfront. It was only weeks before there was a leak and I have to have actual professionals come out to make the repairs and then redo the work they did. They also broke the dryer vent in my basement. I didn't notice before they left because the paint on the wall was still wet and I could not look behind there. I called and asked them to fix it I emailed them and asked them to fix it. No response. They will cash your check and won't respond when you discover the problems with their work. I just discovered they used the ceiling paint to paint the trim in the bathroom instead of the trim paint I gave them. I would never use them again. They do not stand by their work. They will cover up problems rather than tell you. Then you will spend twice as much hiring someone else to do the work right. read more
