Do not get your eyebrows laminated tinted nor waxed at this place. If you do I'd proceed with caution. I went in hoping to come out with beautiful eyebrows instead I came out with overly processed eyebrows that curled the next day and two eyebrows scars due to wax burn. Also the tinted was gone, faded. When I told the technician about the burn all she said was " I recommend you add neosporin it will help the burn". Lady you burned me!! Now I have have a scar on my left top eyebrows. No apology, all she kept on saying was " you like huh", ya no!!! I blame myself for trusted a so called professional. This technician clearly needs more training or don't do it at all. And yes I paid full price plus a nice tip! Over $100.00. But I will never go back nor have anyone there touch my eyebrows again! I decided to treat myself and called Magic Brow to schedule an appointment. I got a eyebrow, lip and side burn threading along with a full Brazilian wax. GIRLLL, Destiny made it such an amazing experience. She knew it has been some time since I've gotten a wax and she prepped me accordingly. Honestly, I barely felt anything (granted, I've been waxing for most of my adult life), but she didn't apply wax that was too hot, she got all the hairs in one stroke (she did do a cleanup later but it was literally minutes), and the biggest issue I've had with other estheticians is somehow they get the wax too sticky or something and it pulls up the skin. So came here on Mother's Day weekend to treat myself to eyebrow tint. Loved the result but the next day, woke up with itchiness, swollen eyebrows & eyelids. Went to see doctor & got antibiotics. Found out that I developed a reaction to henna & it was probably left on too long. I remember the woman who did my brows, did leave me for 10-15 min to do another customer's brows. I have been coming to this location for many years. I am very happy with the service but recently, I noticed that one of the newer ladies heavily upsell and try to promote other services. I don't mind the upselling, but do it either before or after the threading and not during threading. I was very irritated because if someone is busy with my brows and lip threading, it's hard for me to ask questions, talk or make any decisions on services while I'm in pain from the threading. I just have to give this place a shout out. I've heard threading horror stories so I was always terrified of ever getting my eyebrows done. I originally went in for a wax but the attendant talked me into it and even though it did hurt a bit (the bottom of the eyebrow hurt the most to me) my eyebrows have never looked better.
