I don't know, I mean I grew up in VS and went there most of my life but their bagels are small and the taste is average if that and on the weekends the lines are out the door. And its true what a previous poster wrote "Why use gloves for handling food if you're handling dirty money with those same gloved hands" I guess the gloves are to keep their hands clean. read more

I grew up on Magic Bagels: elementary school, high school and even into college. At times the bagels are fresh, incredible and difficult to beat, but consistency is a problem. Weekday mornings the bagels are not always fresh. Weekends have been my best experiences, despite a line that can go out the door; the bagels, delivered from the back, have always been amazing. The poppy bagel is subtle and typically delicious with the usual generous spread of cream cheese. The everything bagel has a perfect balancing of flavors. Specify how much cream cheese you want; many servers lay it on real thick! I love being lucky enough to get the bagels right out of the oven - slightly chewy and a light cripsy exterior. Very nice workers and great bagels very wide selection. I asked for a bacon egg and cheese but they weren't able to make it for me I forgot what they said maybe they were missing bacon I'm not sure. Don't go there. Place is terrible. During the week, kids work there. They're on their phones texting while your waiting at the counter. Then if you say something, they have an attitude. Go to the bagel place on Rockaway. Or A and S on Hempstead turnpike in Franklin. Square. Give your money to a place that appreciates it!!! read more

Unfriendly to African Americans!! I've always noticed that whenever I go here the reception is not too friendly. This morning I went and the owner a tall older gentlemen didn't even want to wait on me . When it was my turn to be waited on he began to do other things so he wouldn't have to deal with me and this isn't the first time! As I was leaving another lady was coming in the door that I also recognized works there regularly. I gave her a nice cheerful "good morning", she didn't utter a word to me. Their pretty good, they have a great amount of selections. I ordered a croissant toasted with sausage egg and cheese and the croissant was kind of burnt and the egg was too big for it so they need to work more on the visual part of their breakfast. read more

Super disappointed in this bagel shop. I've been to plenty of bagel shops in New York and although some are better than others, I haven't had a bad one. Maybe because I had high expectation of this place based on the reviews but I was very disappointed. I was way too far before I realized my bagel order was wrong. I came here today and I ordered a French toast bagel with walnut cream cheese. I asked the woman helping me what flavored ice coffee they had. She said we have too many flavors. I just looked at her. She did not name one. Not one. Then she told me to go to the other side of the store and there is a list. I go look at the list and there is 7 flavors!!!!! She couldn't name one????? I opted for the cupcake ice coffee with cream and sugar. While driving away I unwrap my bagel and realized I got a French toast bagel with REGULAR cream cheese. The bagel is sooooo tiny. The bagel did not even taste like French toast, it tasted burnt! No where in the iced coffee did I taste cupcake. Not even cream. Not even sugar. Just coffee and milk. read more

Best bagels I've had so far!! I 100% recommend their "Everything Bagel" with "Egg Salad". That is by far my favorite topping for the bagel. I love their Egg Salad bagel and you will too! Iced Coffee always taste delicious! Probably the best bagel store in Nassau County. I tried other hand rolled bagel spots around the county, and they are just not the same. Check this place out for good coffee and bagels! Be aware that the lines tend to be a little long on the weekends and on the weekdays in the morning. Delicious bagels! They are chewy on the outside and dense on the inside, the way bagels should be! If you go 30 minutes before closing, the bagels are half price! There is never a wait, just fast and efficient service. The only drawback is they only accept cash. read more
