The space is quaint and intimate, but feels like the perfect spot to kill some time when you're doing laundry or just on a fun little date. They serve beers and cider; no liquor, although you can get a shot soju for $4. I had a mango and peach cider from Downeast that was quite delicious. Most of their drinks were $10 each, which was reasonable. This is a great spot when you want some entertainment as you can play their pinball machines ($1 each play), skeeball, or any of the free boardgames they have. Be sure to bring cash, but there is a machine that gives you a change of coins.

I decided to bring it here. Staff was welcoming and friendly and got me set up easily for the wash and fold. Turn around time was next day and convenient. Received a text when it was ready. The folding job was great as it made packing my suitcase extra easy. Next time I'm in town I won't hesitate to use the service again rather than bringing dirty laundry home to do myself.

I liked the pricing, compared to other cleaners, and they did deliver on their 24 hour promise, so it might be worth it for that alone? Maybe? But the item came out --- fine? It is not worth the walk for us, so I doubt I'll be eschewing my local cleaners to return, but glad I tried something new. There is not a cash tip jar, we were asked to tip on the screen like I was ordering a specialty coffee item. Confused everyone I was with. Not appropriate for this kind of business. They also charge for pickup/delivery which most cleaners do not.

I came in, started my wash, and came back about thirty minutes later to move my clothes to the dryer. The warm welcome I got? An angry "Hey you! What are you doing here?" shouted across the room. Nothing like being treated like a criminal for doing laundry. Another employee saw what happened and tried to smooth it over by saying, "I'm so sorry, we just have people who come in here to mess up the bathroom." Oh great, that definitely makes being yelled at feel so much better. Apparently wearing a T-shirt and gym shorts is enough to raise suspicion now. Who knew laundromats had a dress code? Maybe next time I'll wear a tux so they know I'm here to wash clothes and not commit a crime. Convenient location, but I'll gladly take the extra walk for a place that doesn't treat its customers like a problem.
