Just moved around the corner a few months ago and had to share how much I love this place. I've been to so many laundromats with rude, indifferent, or even hostile staff. The staff at this place are so incredibly kind, cheerful, and attentive. I have some cycling clothes that need special care and they've always made sure to separate them and treat them right. They washed and tumble dried my new silk blouse and cashmere sweater. Any professional laundry owner would know the difference or even suggest dry cleaning for those fine articles of clothing. They however accused me of lying about asking for dry cleaning. I showed them the $395 receipt from Bloomingdale's for the blouse and asked them why I would want to wash it. They ignored my logic and insisted on calling me a liar. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you value your expensive clothing. read more

Went here for years before moving out of the neighborhood. The whole staff is super nice and they took great care of my clothes. I would do drop off wash/fold as well as dry cleaning. It was always ready fairly quickly and the prices were reasonable. The few times I needed alterations or help getting out stains, they were always super helpful. I rarely post on Yelp but I was checking reviews pretty intensely before I finally chose a laundromat for delivery/drop off service. I've honestly been terrified to get wash and fold service in the past as I've heard so many horror stories. I bit the bullet today and called Cypress for delivery wash&fold and am amazed!! They came within a few minutes of me calling them and all of my clothes arrived about three hours later, perfectly folded and literally separated by type or clothing and color! Everything is amazingly soft as well! I'm never touching a washing machine again as they totally spoiled me. My only problem is that I didnt have them wash and fold every article of clothing I own so my closet and dresser can be immaculate. They were really nice and sweet as well and seemed really appreciative of my business. I'm happy to support them and will likely call them once a week. read more

Beware: I came here to drop off a few pieces on behalf of someone very familiar with and used to have very high regard for this place until we picked up our last order. I had gone a week prior to drop off some dry cleaning given to me by the person who trusted this business and told them it was dry cleaning. The man, who I assume runs or manages the laundromat, was on the phone when I came in and put my clothes on the counter. Having my clothes on the counter, I said these were for "X person," Since they didn't know who I was referring to, probably because they hadn't seen the two of us together, they asked for a phone number. The ticket I received was sparse with information and didn't indicate laundry or dry cleaning; I assume because they were on the phone and trying to multitask. Going off of the knowledge that I had said dry cleaning, I assumed the information given was understood. To my and the person whose clothes I had dropped off's shock and anger when we picked up the clothes from the laundromat, they had been washed and dried-- a silk shirt, a cashmere sweater, and a pair of velvet pants were all shrunk and mangled. We went there for accountability for the miscommunication and reimbursement for the clothes that had been mishandled, only to receive unprofessional responses to our complaints. Not only was I called a liar and profiled as untrustworthy, but the people I went with as well were not regarded with respect for their materials or the compensation they were asking for. In the past, we had had courteous interactions with the owner and workers there; however, after today's event, it seems they have little regard for making thoroughly sure that the clothes entrusted to them are treated properly. Further, their attitude towards mishandling was certainly one that did not put the customer's satisfaction at the forefront. read more

My building's dryers were broken, so I was forced to find a laundromat in the neighborhood to take my wet clothes. The load was pretty big, so lugging the soaking 20lbs wasn't on my list of favorite tasks. I found Cypress through Yelp and walked over. The man inside was so rude to me and refused to let me use the dryer. Apparently, I would have to re-wash my clothes if I wanted to use their machines, as they don't allow you to use one or the other service. Thinking it was just a language barrier (because that's just crazy), I asked the woman inside who confirmed the crazy rule. I couldn't believe that they would refuse service to me in such a manner, after I explained my dilemma. I was forced to lug the bag to the next laundromat where they were not only nice enough to let me use the dryer, they gave me a card for the machines free of charge! read more

Although quite small (maybe only 15-20 washers) this laundromat is pretty fantastic. The washers are FAST and got my clothes WAY cleaner than my old in-home washer. The dryers work well and are enormous. And the folding table is big enough for several people to share. There are plenty of carts to use, and the prices are reasonable. Not to mention, everything is CLEAN. I haven't used their drop-off or dry clean services yet, but there were lots of customers who seemed happy enough with the results. The best part by far, though, was the attitudes of the people working there. As soon as I walked in and looked a little lost, I was taken under the wing of the female owner. She directed me to the empty washers, helped me get quarters, and just basically made sure I was well taken care of the entire time I was there. (Now, I'm not an idiot or anything - I can do my own laundry just fine - but I was a little overwhelmed at first, coming there for the first time, etc.). So she just made me feel so welcome and put my mind at ease! When she went on break, a man came in to oversee things, and he offered me some candies. It's the little things like that that just make a place great. They obviously care a great deal for the customer's experience. I'm really glad that this place is close enough to make my default laundromat. TLDR: Though it's small, the place is clean, reasonably priced, and the machines work well. 3 years I've been dropping off my laundry here for a wash and fold, never had one complaint.

I've been using the pick up and drop off service for close to a year now and I have nothing but positive things to say. My clothes are returned perfectly. The clothe that I want returned wet or air dried I place in a separate bag with special instructions and they honor that as well. I see some negative reviews about not being able to just dry your wet clothes and that's pretty much every laundromat in NY. Maybe it's ok in another state but that shit don't rock in NY lol. read more

Everyone working was so helpful and kind. My washing machine broke so I had three large bags of laundry. They helped me take the bags out of the car without having to ask, they offered me a cold water bottle, and they returned the clean laundry the same day I dropped it off! I love love love these guys! They are so sweet, nice and hard working. I ditched my laundry mat that was closer because they actually care and are genuine, and their machines work perfectly. They use old school quarter machines and have no problem changing out your bills, I even used dimes in a pinch and they took them without issue. They smile every time I walk through the door. I saw one of the kids dropping off laundry in my neighborhood and he recognized me and waved. Great people! read more

A new family took over this laundromat last year and improved it so much! They are fast, friendly, and turn our clothes into neat, clean, perfectly folded squares. If the son or the dad see my car pull up out front they will even come out and get the laundry for me. And they somehow got my very dirty white bathrobe to look new again :) I am so relieved to never have to worry about mysterious stains or missing socks anymore! I came here after reading the Yelp reviews and now I can officially confirm that this place is 5 stars! Family owned and always so friendly when I drop my laundry off. They always have it ready by the time they say and my clothes are always so nicely folded. Jason, the son of the owners, is always so friendly and as a customer it is noticed and very much appreciated. My one request would be for their delivery service to be less than 25 lbs as a requirement but I understand. Either way, still coming back here as they are my new local laundry mat! read more

This is by far the best laundromat in the neighborhood. The family who runs the place are all so friendly, and they do a great job. I typically drop off after work and pick up after work the next day. Everything is neatly folded and packaged in plastic. They do same-day service too, if you drop off early enough. Sometimes I forget my ticket, but it's no problem because they recognize me and go to grab my stuff as soon as I walk in. One time, I thought they had lost a pair of my jeans (when actually I had misplaced them in my apt), and they took down my contact info, looked at their camera feed, and got back to me within a couple hours. They take their business very seriously. And their prices are good too, very affordable. As long as I live nearby, I will never go to another laundromat. read more

I live just outside of the delivery zone, but the amazing workers here agreed if I call on slower days they'd come and pick up and drop off my laundry. I've been here multiple times and have had no issues. But yesterday I brought in my bedding (comforter and pillow cases) to get cleaned. After I picked up my order and brought it home I realized there was black marker all over my white comforter and the pillow cases were missing. I go back to tell them the issue and ask for my money back and was harassed. I continuously told them I wasn't trying to start an issue and they kept yelling in my face. It wasn't like I asking them to pay for a new comforter and pillow cases I just wanted my ten dollars back. One of the workers tried to help out and told me if there was a mistake on the camera that he would pay for everything, and I kept saying it doesn't need to reach that. He told me how people try to scam them, and I explained if I was trying to scam you I wouldn't be here this long trying to fix the situation. They looked at the camera to see if they could catch the problem and eventually called me over to watch it with them. While watching we see a woman take the comforter out of the dryer and look at the stain, mess with it, and then just fold it. I tell them there it is and they kept denying it and got more aggressive. At this point I was speechless and other customers there were trying to help. All I asked was for my money back for the dry cleaning and I'll leave they finally threw the money at me and screamed to get out. I apologized to cause such stress and they kept yelling, I asked them if they could throw away my comforter for me to show it wasn't a scam and they threw it at me saying they didn't want that trash. I'm not one to try and cause issues, if it was one little dot on the comforter I would have let it go. But it looked like a kid had play time all over it and my pillow cases were missing. read more

Yes, they won't let you bring wet clothes to dry and I totally understand why. Drying is by the quarter, not a set price like $3/load. I love the flexibility and wouldn't want anyone to come and take advantage of that either if I were the shopkeepers. Anyway, love this place. They keep everything tidy. They are really good. Not saying it's 100% safe to leave your valuables unattended nor should you blame them for stolen or lost items. HOWEVER, I have to say I saw them yell at a man for taking a woman's personal laundry cart. They do the right thing and they care about their customers. They really put in that extra effort to greet and thank every customer when entering and exiting the laundry mat. Some one is always around to help with questions and some times they even help with lifting bags. I refuse to do my laundry any were else. They do drop off and pick up service and can have you're clothes ready the next morning. This place takes care of me and every one I've seen entering while I've done my laundry. I had been a patron of the drop off service for many years, before and after the new management. When the new management took over I was really happy with their work for the first couple of years. All of this has drastically changed in the last six months. It first started with me noticing a white residue on my clothes when I unpacked them from my laundry bag. It look like dried fabric softener. I took the clothes back, and they washed them again. One would have hoped that was a one-off problem. But, no---it kept happening, and happening and happening! It got so bad, I asked them to not use fabric softener on my clothes. And, yet still...there was a problem. When I finally asked the owners what was going on, and why this was happening, they tried to blame me. Which made no sense--why would I spend money to have someone do my laundry, only to mess them up all over again before even wearing the clothes?! Two weeks ago, the problem happened yet again, and after once again confronting the owners, I gave up and severed ties with this service. Not only have I found the white residue on my last batch of clothes they washed, I've found stains of washing detergent on supposedly clean clothes. I don't know if they have set machines to low water levels, or, are skipping the rinse cycle. All I do know is that they are cutting corners some how, and I've wasted a lot of money on having clothes cleaned, that actually came back more soiled than they went in. In all of the ten years, and several owners, this laundry has had, nothing like this has happened before. I'll wait to see who the next owners are. Until then, I've been walking a bit further to another laundry mat, to get the service I've paid for. read more
