I gave this place a few chances just to make sure I was not the problem but today I decided I will not be back. So here we are. I came last month for a fairly simple mani/pedi, a chrome French on my hands and feet. Was very happy with the pedicure until it came to my hands. The shaping was all off and when I voiced my concerns to the man who was doing my nails he would become visibly frustrated, became rougher, sigh and tell me I don't know what I'm talking about (mind you I'm a hand a foot model so of many people, I'm definitely somebody who knows). I was charged just over $170 before tip. Before I left I was asked to post the mani pedi to my Instagram after mentioning I was an influencer earlier, which I would have been open to had I been treated as a valued customer. Normally nail salons would comp or offer an extra service in exchange for promo, so I found the request entitled. I tipped and left. Yesterday I went back for the exact same mani-pedi - again very happy with the pedicure, I asked for a soak off on my hands, to which the man replied that I will not need one until next month. This time around I didn't want to tell him when he made mistakes because I didn't want the horrible attitude and pain I received last time and just watched him make the mistakes. Down to the fact that he didn't buff my nails and they're thick and extremely bumpy, the edges are peeling and catching on everything because this should have been a new set. This time I was charged $208, almost $40 extra in comparison to last month, and I don't think I will be coming back because this place is dishonest, the man does not listen to his customers and provides a poor quality service for the money that is being charged. read more

The service was good - my mani-pedi very decent looking. This local nail salon Seems to have plenty of loyal clientele and I was satisfied with the price and services but... let's talk about hygiene here!!! I noticed none of the pedicure stations were using plastic around the water tub to soak feet - I requested one because I was nervous I wasn't going to get one if I didn't - my nail technician Seemed to have a struggle even knowing how to use the plastic and almost gave up on it but somehow managed. The place is not organized at all. Every single piece of furniture is completely disheveled and some dirty. The decor and complete look needs an emergency face lift - perhaps also hiring some cleaning staff as well. Colors are not organized and randomly placed around and it was hard to even focus on which color to choose due to it. Everyone is super friendly and my 2 stars are only because of the decent service but it really deserves less than that otherwise. Acrylic and gel nails seem to be very popular there. read more

My cousin and her friend come here all the time and rave about how good it is and how long their nails last. Finally I decided to come with my sister, and I am absolutely obsessed with this nail salon! We had no wait and were given exceptional service. They have so many color options and are so friendly and helpful. I got a pedicure for $19 and acrylic nails for $35 ! AMAZING !! There isn't any other spot doing these prices and quality. My sister got gel acrylics which is normally $50 but she got a design which ended up being around $65 it depends on your design the extra cost. She loves this place now the attention to detail and overall kindness and cleanliness was 10/10! They shaped my nails perfectly I'm in absolute shock! Love love love read more

When I typed up the name of this place in yelp, I was in shock to see they had a 4 star avg review. Then it made sense- there are only a few reviews. I just moved to Ridgewood and needed a mani & pedi for a wedding I was attending. This was the closest nail spot to me so I went in to give them a try. The.Worst.Decision.Of.My.Life. As soon as I sat down...the arm of the chair came down really hard and the nail tech (although that is not what a real nail tech is like) made a snarky remark about it breaking off. Bitch why would I purposely slam it? From that moment, I should've known this wasn't going to go well. The nail tech that did my nails was one of the Spanish ladies. There were only 2 Spanish girls that day, this one is NOT the one with the more Roman shaped nose-she is the other one w/the nasty dye job. Literally, the worst mani/pedi of my life. She rushed so much through my pedicure...that I couldn't believe I finished BEFORE the lady that was next to me whom had started way before me. Let's see what else? Grabbing my legs/hands aggressively as she was doing everything. NOT nice at all. I don't need to have a convo w/you but shit, crack a smile! The paint job on my hands was mediocre and later when I looked was streaky! Smh...It took every bit of my soul not to curse the shit out of her and walk out, but I had a wedding to go to and needed to be in Jersey. I normally say that I would give a place another try with a different employee, but not this time! Fuuuuuck that! Maybe the owners don't care because they seemed to be busy. My favorite nail place in Maspeth(Utopia Nails) will remain my nail spot, even paying more money! At least when I go there, I get treated with respect, it's cleaner, and no one ever rushes doing my nails. It's true what they say - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I'm surprised to see the low reviews on here since this is my go to nail place. I started going here two years ago when I moved to the neighborhood every two weeks on avg. gel manicure and pedicure every time. $32 mon- wed, $36 thurs - sun. Reasonable. You will need cash to pay since they stopped excepting credit cards. Jenny owns the place. It's always clean and I know they keep it clean per their routine at night. AC in the summer/ heat in the winter. Jenny is about making sure the tool and equipment are sanitized. Bathroom works just has an out of order sign on it, not sure why? My favorite techs are Shirley, Michelle, Gloria and the guy, I don't know his name but he's cool. Everyone else seem to be good but they rush you when they are busy. The form and shape of the nails are good, as for the quality they look shiny and smooth but when you look closely they don't look as smooth as they feel. My first time and I am well pleased. Was in need of a pedicure on a Sunday evening and after stopping into a few shops on Myrtle Ave close to Seneca Ave I decided to drive up towards Fresh Pond Rd. I've been going there since I was 16 years old (4 years) Angel was my go to, but because of covid, she sold the place over to some new people and unfortunately, the service is not the same. The only good people I recommend going to is the new owner for manicure and the two Hispanic ladies for pedicure. Everyone else there isn't as skilled. Prices have risen because of covid, so it could be a little expensive depending on what you get done. read more

The one complaint I have about this place is that they do no honor appointments. I think if you call and specifically ask for a particular tech to do your nails, then that should hold true as soon as you come on time through those doors. I am so dissapointed! Have been coming here for reg mani/pedi for over 3 years. I recently tried SNS powder gel and loved it. The 3rd time i got the powder gel done it cracked in 4 days. Supposed to last 2+ weeks. I went back and got treated horribly for complaining. I couldn't believe it after being a loyal customer for a few years. If you are for basic mani/pedi this place is ok but, they don't really care about their customers. Not sure what the owner/manager's name is. She sits right by the door and takes payments from everyone. This lady is horrible with the powder gel was too busy multitasking that my nails were damaged. Also, they have very limited options for gel color. They are outdated and over priced. They charged me $5 more for filing my nails a different shape, rediculous! i had also noticed throughout the years of the fast turnaround of employees. Nobody last more than a year here. Wendy does a good job but she is the only one and over booked with appts. Anyway, i recommend going across rhe street! I had been going to wrong the place for SNS!
