I have nothing to say but i love maggianos. I've never had a bad experience there and the food is always amazing.

I love Maggianos. There are a lot of really sincere, hard-working folks here. I love the lobster carbonara. Don't settle for the cheap pasta dishes that are designed to get you in and out. Pick a dish these folks make from scratch and enjoy it. I was told Mo took care of my dish and I was SUPER happy. Billie is an amazing server and will make you feel welcome and like you're in Mama Spagliano's kitchen... wherever that is in Italy. Don't complain if it takes too long or they run out (well, to a point.) They make everything from scratch. Imagine if you were having 20-700 people over in an 11 hour period. Plan for that. How much of each thing do you make? There is plenty good on the menu. That said, if you just want pasta and meat sauce... hit up the OG... it's actually really good and the bread sticks should be a crime. You won't leave here hungry. But if you're counting calories, bring a calculator 'cause they're gonna add up. Fast. Seriously. Check. This is not "casual fare" per se. This is upscale-ish fare. If you're a regular sweat pant-wearing Olive Garden regular, keep going there. But if you like a nice place to go out and enjoy an evening while hopefully keeping the typical D&B crowd out, it's pretty nice. read more

The service here is so good. Our waitress is attentive and is checking in at just the right times. We even have had 1 waitor check in to make sure we didn't need anything. We ordered an appetizer of brushetta and it was delicious! I ordered the chicken picatta and my husband ordered the crab cakes. Both were so good. I usually order the chicken picatta wherever I go and this is by far the best I have ever had. read more

Maggiano's is one of our favorite restaurants in the area! It's a great place to take the family. The food is always fresh and the portions sizes are really large. If you buy one of their classic pastas you also get a take-home portion, so you have leftovers for days! We have always had a great experiences and will definitely return in the future. read more

My fiancé and I celebrated our 7 ann. on Fri. Aug. 12th, 2016. Here's my Positive Report: The atmosphere and energy was full of life and gave that ambiance and vibe. The local was packed to capacity in the area where I was seated. Our waitress was very welcome and her aditude was very relaxed, please let our waitress know that she's a keeper and very useful to ur company, if my memory serves me correctly, our server did say something about going to school and is in the process of becoming a Nutritionist and or working in the Health Secture. My suggestion is this, why not set up a program where everyone in the company can learn about the ins and outs o the health value o all o the products that are being served in ur restaurant. The items that we ordered was: Spaggetti and meatballs w meat sauce, Caesar salad w xtra cheese and dressing, Lt Fettuccini Alfredo sauce w Chicken and Asparigus pieces. The colors o the dishes and flavors were outta this world, Yum!!! Negative Report: The area where we were sitting, was right next to a table that had a very big party and the little ones that were in that party were NOT taught proper manners on how to act in public, shame on u, allowing those lttle individuals to yell and scream and act as if they were at a playground. The restrooms were out o that rough T.P. that made our skin break. Over All: dispite the rude individuals o the lttle individuals, we had a blessed and wonderful early dinner at ur local. Horrible HORRIBLE service. The staff is completely unwilling to even try to be good to customers. They'd rather mess around with each other and ignore you. Bill was wrong, no effort to correct by the waiter or the manager when calling to correct after the fact. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

We've had food from this restaurant before and it was really good. Although 9/12/2018 our food was not so good. The crab cakes have more filling than crab meat and no flavor at all. The Lobster Cabrera was just so so. Didn't have enough lobster and no flavor. So, I don't think we will be ordering from here for quite awhile. read more

OT oversaw my family's reception for about 60 people. We were unclear about the exact number and it turned out we needed to start the reception more than an hour earlier than expected. We had our work Holiday Brunch Party with a group of 16. The food and service was exceptional. Our waiters Omar and John were outstanding. We chose this Maggiano's because of Omar. He has been such a delight and his hospitality is top notch. We would also like to thank Tim Scott, Asst. General Manager, for making sure our tables were setup prior to the full group arriving. This was my first time to the Springfield location. Usually I would have to go to Tysons to get my Maggianos fix. The quality and taste of this location is on point however the portion sizes are smaller I feel. Just as packed as the Tysons location, I was hoping it would not be! Great restaurant. We were attending a conference in Alexandria for the weekend. Made a reservation and when we arrived we were seating almost immediately. The hostess station was friendly and accommodating. Our waitress, Cheyenne, was friendly, polite and understood the menu fully and made great recommendations. We were served our appetizer by the manager, Lauralee, who was very friendly. The restaurant was very busy but we never felt rushed or neglected. Certain food are great and some just okay. Service is good but other than that if you don't love pasta as much go to a different place.

I was not impressed with my first experience here. The waitress was friendly and served us right away but I didn't like the fact that she kept her cell phone in her pocket of her shirt the entire time... Unprofessional. If you are traveling and you want to order a simple pasta dish apparently you can't do that without taking one to go. I didn't want to take one to go so I ordered the chicken Parmesan instead. That and the spaghetti had way too much sauce on it and I could make a better dish at home. My husband had the filet mignon and he said it was delicious and the rest of our group seemed to enjoy their food, but men are sometimes easy to please when they're hungry! The last two times we have visited we have had minor problems. The first time there was an issue of a poorly prepared take home item. We always love going to Maggiano's however the location was not the best. My daughter wanted to go to Maggiano's for her birthday however this location was not our normal venue l. We typically go to the one in Richmond but could not get a reservation. The food was ok, the service was slow and very lacking in places. I kept having to remind the server about refills or additions. The timing of food being brought out was poor. My Linguine DeMare was decent however the broken shells from the mussels ruined the entree. I brought the rest home thinking I could pick trough it but almost broke a tooth on it and had to throw it away. Very disappointed it since we spent about 360.00 on a birthday dinner. FABULOUS fried zucchini -- crusty, nicely season, hot, and HUGE! 6-7 big planks, usually upwards of 6" x 2", so I get it as my main course (with dipping sauce) and take some home every time. The bread before the meal is OK, the olive oil for dipping excellent. Great service and atmosphere, including Sinatra and other easy listening stuff at just the right volume. I'll be back! read more

Unrealistic expectations with the wait time and the mgmt has no accountability. Instead of apologizing and saying the typical lip service that mgr say she was shocked and claimed she had been working in the front if the restaurant all day. Still a few kinks and stuff to work out, but the boyfriend and I had a rather pleasant experience. We didn't make reservations so the host gave us an estimated time of a 30-40 min wait (it was a Saturday night so totally understandable). We were given the option of being sent a text or given a pager to let us know when our table would be ready. I chose the text option so that gave us time to kind of walk around the mall and do some light shopping. About 25 minutes later I got the text letting us know our table was ready. Score! We were sat right away but I will admit it took probably about 10 minutes for us to get greeted. It's a good thing we weren't really in a rush. Although our server was very kind and sweet, the service was ssssslllllllllooooooooowwwwwwww. We ordered calamari as our appetizer which was ok (Great American still serves the best calamari in all locations in my honest opinion). We both ordered pasta dishes which were ok as well. Not the best because I've had better at the Tysons location. It probably took about 45 minutes for us to get our entree. The calamari held us over but some bread would have been nice too. Drinks were never refilled either until we had to flag our sever down for some refills. Bread didn't come out till we were already halfway into our entrees. Meh. I probably don't need the extra carbs anyway. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience. It gave the boyfriend and I a chance to have a good conversation and enjoy each others company. You can tell that there are a few minor things that needs to be worked out which I'm sure over time will happen. It's still new and I think everyone is getting used to things. read more

The waiter had no idea. 7 of us got our entrees, while the 8th person wasn't served till the rest of we're almost finished. No apology or explanation, nothing offered for our inconvenience. I normally love Maggiano's but my experience on Thursday was not up to par. I went with my date and we opted to get their Valentines Day special that is 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, a dessert, 2 drinks, and a box of zuccotto bites to take away. The food was great until my date found a white hair in her shrimp scampi. Neither of us have white hair so it had to of come from the kitchen. When we were deciding on dessert we went with the chocolate cake over the zuccotto bites, a recommendation from our waiter since he reminded us we were getting the box zuccotto bites to take home. If you like chocolate go with the cake, it was awesome. We then waited 20 minutes for our check. I get they are busy but 20 minutes is too long especially after asking for the bill twice. When we finally got the check, our waiter informed us they didn't have the boxes of zuccotto bites yet. How can a place offer a special when they knowingly don't have one of its items? Mind you we were eating an early dinner so it is not like they ran out for the day, they simply didn't have them. Another sour point is the staff, not our waiter, were playing games. Placing lemon slices on each other and following to see how long it would take someone to notice they had one on their shoulder. I enjoy Maggiano's food and professionalism most days but Thursday I did not. I bit my tongue at the restaurant but this experience had to be shared. read more

Ha. So I made a party reservation at 9. The first guest comes in at 8:30 to check in and soon everyone else started checking in. I come in with the birthday boy 8:45/8:50, and they informed that everyone else has checked in but they didn't have our table ready due to an 8 o'clock reservation and they asked for us to wait 15 mins. So we said okay that's fine I guess. Around 9:20, a manager(man) comes out, and apologizes for the wait and everything. My boyfriend asked the manager "on your end what are you going to do for us" the manager replied basically saying he wouldn't do anything for us but keep us waiting due to the 8 o'clock reservation. 9:40 comes around, another manager(girl) comes out saying "were getting your table ready now if you want to wait 5 minutes you can but if you want to leave we understand" she said all of this with a bitchy tone and it was rude. While we're waiting 40 mins already, we have rude customer service. They didn't ask to serve us any drinks while we wait or asked us to head to the bar while we wait. What was the point of making a reservation if we had to wait an hour. And not only did I order from the family menu, the food that I ordered had been sitting in the back for at least more than an hour which I didn't want to eat after 40 minutes. So when I went to return the pager, i had two girls giving me their resting bitch face. My Boyfriend and I told them that we would just leave. It was ridiculous. And then our two friends went to go grab the cake and I guess some of the workers started like begging and telling them our table was ready to be seated. We waited 40 mins. The food was made before the reservation. When I called around noon that day, reception said everything would be ready at 9 and that if we were late they would cut our reservation. Yet when they were late, they didn't do anything to take care of us. I understand you can't kick any guests out, but this is where time management comes in. They shouldn't have made a big party reservation at 8 and a big party reservation at 9. Parties like that always stay for more than an hour. That's common sense. read more

After all the bumps & bruises of opening a new location. I think they finally made a move toward success. The place was totally full and the wait was an hour. Prom was happening and all the attention was on the prom dates. I ended up seating outside and my wait was actually 5 minutes instead. Brandon was my waiter and he was on point with everything. He started off with a 30% tip from the start. I ordered simple so I had lasagna and a spaghetti with meatball to go ( my second dish ). Make A Wish has deals going with them so I only tried the lemonade special. Very nice and for a cause I support 1000% as a Wish Grantor with MaW. The weather was perfect and a breeze was making it worth bring outside instead of inside. The inside A/C was Alaska! I enjoyed my food and the bread was hot! My heart was set on Italian and it was what I wanted during my visit. Keep in mind my lasagna is top soccer any venue. I have lunch for tomorrow with the To Go food as well. This venue gives Springfield what it needed more choices. I will return to try something different rather than the normal. The Prom was nice to see our youth enjoying themselves as well. EARLIEST I can schedule is 10:45 pm I asked if we can do 10:30 he said okay. I get there at 10:45 pm they said the kitchen will be closing soon and said that they cannot find my reservation on the computer even though I showed them a text confirmation from the restaurant that I received earlier on my phone. How was the guy on the phone giving me a 10:45pm EARLIEST APPOINTMENT but the kitchen is closing when I got there? The lady that welcomes us (barely) said she will go get the manager to ask her if we can still be seated.The manager never "came" she was actually the same lady so she lied to me and she was making fun of her colleague's laugh which I thought that was not appropriate nor professional. This place probably lost 5 tables that night because as I was standing there a lot of people standing behind me told them they have a reservation also. I went to the Springfield, VA location for my birthday this past Saturday and the service was slow, and the food was not good at all. The pasta had no flavor, nor did the fettuccini alfredo. We were all really disappointed. They also did not bring the desert to my kids and I did not realize until I had left. The prices are too high for such bad tasting food and service read more

Pick it up guys! Went 4 days after opening. We had a reservation and still had to wait. We had to then wait 15 min before we were seen at our table. Food was awesome but serving staff needs some help. They also jammed us in the back when almost the whole side room was empty. Also, please label your takeout counter. It looks like the reservation counter and the first everyone sees when entering. It's very confusing almost everyone walked to takeout before being redirected. read more
