It's a very practical neighborhood shopping center -- a convenient one-stop spot with everyday essentials, restaurants, and new stores currently under construction. I'd encourage people to continue supporting it. Not every shopping center needs to be a major destination like the Irvine Spectrum. There's value in having diversity in shopping options and experiences, especially places that simply serve the daily needs of the surrounding community. Major anchor stores still operating: Walmart Supercenter Trader Joe's Sprouts Farmers Market HomeGoods Ross Dress for Less Ulta Beauty 24 Hour Fitness PetSmart CVS Pharmacy Food spots still active nearby: Cava Sourdough &Co. Olive Garden Panera Bread Chipotle Mexican Grill The Habit Burger Grill Panda Express McDonald's

Then you have the expanded Trader Joe's and a Sprouts sharing a common parking lot, so all your food needs are met. Ulta has returned, but to the same place Party City was. Overall, the mall is coming back to life, even though the indoor mall is gone. A couple of things to know. You can't drive the length of the place in the back anymore, as the property, once owned by JCPenney, is completely fenced in, blocking your path and at least the old entrance to the back parking lot. The other is that even though there's a sign that says "Panda Mart", there is zero activity when you look inside the store. Sears still owns that property and building, so that's on them. In fact, if you walk down the path between Home Goods and 24 Hour Fitness, you'll see all that is left of the old mall. That's because Sears owns that section and didn't opt to tear it down. Between Home Goods, Walmart, and some food eateries, I find myself coming here more often than I realized. Maybe not as much when there was a full indoor mall, but not by much. BTW: If you go to their website (as of this review), it looks like they didn't renew their hosting agreement, so it's gone. That's a bummer because the map always showed what was coming soon.

Subject: Ongoing Quality Issue with La Chapalita Tortillas…read moreHello, I am a loyal customer and business owner of Birriería Castellanos Taquizas Events, and I have been purchasing products from your store for over 4 years. I regularly buy La Chapalita tortillas from your location at 1265 N Kraemer Blvd, Anaheim. I'm reaching out because over the past 4 weeks, I've noticed a consistent decline in the quality of these tortillas. They are coming out hard and stiff, not soft and flexible like they used to be. When heated, they no longer have the same texture, which directly affects the quality of the tacos we serve to our customers. This is a serious concern for my business, as my customers have already started noticing the difference. I've continued buying from your store hoping the issue would improve, but unfortunately, it has remained the same. I would like to know: If you are aware of this issue If there has been any change in product handling, storage, or supplier batches And most importantly, if this problem will be resolved soon I value your store and prefer to continue buying from you, but I need consistency and quality to maintain my business standards. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Javier Birriería Castellanos Taquizas Events

The food court is also closed during construction. I only come to this location for gas and prefer shopping at the other Tustin Costco. As soon as I pulled in, I got stuck, not moving for over 15 minutes (not an exaggeration) while someone decided to hold everyone up until a couple unloaded their flatbed cart of items into their trunk, then put the cart back (as they should), and then tried to pull out. Only they couldn't because so many cars were lined up in both directions, and nobody could back up to make room. It ended up being a 14-point turn for them to leave. Meanwhile, 3 other people were trying to pull out of their spots, so we all had to wait for them; then people tried to turn too sharply into those spots... and this was a Tuesday!! Not even a busy day!!! There also isn't a food court because of the construction, so if you want the 1.50 hot dog/coke combo, you'll be disappointed. I only had 30 minutes to run and grab something, and it was all used up sitting in the parking lot, so I left. Once the construction is done, I'm sure it'll be beautiful, but for now, go to the one near the District.

My partner ended up going inside first while I parked. It was the best way to optimize our time without having both of us annoyed in the congested parking lot. Once I found parking, I went straight inside and began finding things off our list. Despite how busy this Costco is, it had a lot of selection on what we needed. We were able to find everything we needed - produce, frozen food items, seasoning, oils and more. The value is always good at Costco and we actually saw a lot more deals on the items that were on our list, so that was a positive in our books. The lines were not crazy long and we were helped by friendly Costco employees throughout the whole way. We also had to return something and the customer service at this desk was wonderful as well. Other than the parking situation at this Costco, it was well-stocked and had great value!

I practically need my own warehouse to store it all, yikes! You usually can find someone to help you within a few aisles, and they are most helpful and friendly. If you need to return something, they have a ultra-generous policy. Highlights for me: the fresh fruit and veggies section, fresh meat, fresh whole roasted cooked chicken ($4.99), vitamin and supplements, the wine selection, the booze, and the samples around lunchtime! Tip: Go early or go late, but not at lunch or 530pm - the checkout process is long and tedious. Unless, of course, you need lunch and want to go for their AYCE samples! Location specific: Garden Grove, CA ==================================== I had a very good experience at this location. Super customer service, and although busy, great shopping. Love that this location has lots of Asian goods. Easy parking. All good.
