This is a well-stocked, clean grocery store. They have an adjoining food court and restaurant as well. It was not crowded when I was there on a Saturday morning and the line moved very quickly.

Food court next to store is worth a visit - good vegetarian food Good size store. Has all the essentials you need. A bit pricier but clean inside.

Fungus on the outer edge of spicy potato filled flatbread.

Fungus found in frozen food. I bought a spicy potato filled flatbread only yesterday night. I kept it refrigerated. But once I opened packet today morning , noticed fungus. Store is not careful and observant.

The South Bay really isn't short of Indian Grocery store's yet I felt that this one was a middle of the road average place. It's a decent sized place but the isles are narrow and cramped, prices are also not always listed and I didn't find Creamed Coconut here which is an essential ingredient for the Curry that I make. They do however, have a good selection of fresh Vegetables and is cleaner than most of the Indian store's I have visited. They also have a small selection of British item's, mainly Biscuits (Cookies).

Had a great experience with curbside pickup at Madras Groceries. Everything was well packed in boxes(masala powders, fresh vegetables, snacks, dairy, yogurt, etc) and delivered directly to my car's trunk. Prices are same as instore prices. It took just 5 minutes from my arrival to leaving the place. Curbside made job much easier. They had 2 parking spots reserved for curbside pickup. So, no need to park far away from door. Email them your grocery list (their website has the email address) and they call you when order is ready for pickup. Thanks to store Manager Vairavan and team. We got 95% of items in the quantities mentioned by us and I am satisfied. One small suggestion for them is to email back which items were out of stock for us to easily sort out at home or mention them in the return receipt pasted on the boxes.

I like the selection of exotic food. Worth a trip from time to time. You can find some tasty treats and good deals. Not bad for the price.

Love the ample parking, prime location, and how spacious it is inside. The rewards system is essentially a 1% cash back at a 1000pt cliff -- meaning you get $10 after you spend $1000 but no redemptions before that. Being a member also doesn't get you any additional discounts vs non-members. But hey it's free so it doesn't hurt. I'll always support there being more Asian grocery stores in the West Side of the South Bay. H-Mart always had that spot for me, but now it's shared. Mega Mart's marketed as a more premium store, but it does its best when they're running sales. Price between the two are pretty neck and neck. You'll spend anywhere from $70-$200 per trip cuz the small things do add up. They used to have prepped food marked off anywhere from 30-70% off in the final and early hours of the day. Now, it's an inconsistent luck of the draw. However, I've never had an issue with food quality with anything I've purchased whether it be prepped food or raw ingredients. 4/5, solid store. Hope they continue to grow and thrive as a mainstay of the community.

I've been driving by here for more years than I want to admit, and finally went in and was surprised and delighted by all the specialty foods and astounding selection that they offer. I think to really appreciate their amazing products, I would need some sort of docent to guide me through the store. It is so full of foods from eastern Europe, and even Middle Eastern foods, that I either barely recognize or had no idea existed. The variety is astounding. I'm so glad to have an option like this so close to home.

You can find a very nice selection of goods from various countries here. Candies, nuts, pickles, spreads, frozen dumplings, butter, condiments, wine, sausages and other cured meats, cheese, baked goods, ice cream bars, a small selection of produce, canned goods and much, much more. We had just had lunch so we purchased a small cheesecake flavored ice cream bar to share and some Lebanese grilled olives to take home for later. We are for sure coming back for some frozen dumplings next time we're in the mood... they had a huge selection. Fun!

Nijiya offers a fantastic selection of prepared sashimi, rolls, nigiri, and bento boxes. Be sure to get there early though because they do run out of items later in the day. They even have a small dining area with microwave for you to eat at if you'd like. I like that Nijiya is clean, and while the parking can be a little sparse at times, it's generally quite easy to find a spot as long as you're willing to walk a bit. If you haven't been, it's worth a visit to Nijiya.

It's been quite some time since I visited Hankook. I've always been impressed by their cooking…read morelineup. And as usual, their collection was extensive and comprehensive. They had the usual array of nonstick pots, which don't work very well for me. They had a small but useful section for clay pots. I thought Amazon and AliExpress had overpriced clay pots, but I was wrong. These prices were significantly higher. I can only hope these are the best of the best. Checking up on 99 Ranch, I couldn't even find clay pots in there more limited kitchen utensil section. I ran across one item where knockoffs are ubiquitous. They've completely flooded AliExpress and you have to watch it with Amazon. Hankook had the authentic item and at significantly lower price than both Amazon and Aldi express. I found a tea section to be well stocked. I also recognize some of the tea brands. 99 Ranch has gone with lower cost options, but if you buy 6 ounces of tea, are you gonna be stuck with an enormous supply. Better to go with reliable brands that I have enjoyed in the past. I loved the produce section. It was nice and fresh. It also had wider selection of produce than other supermarkets. The store itself is stunning. The the aisles are spacious. The store is meticulously clean. The shelves are fully stocked. There were only about two items which were shopped out. The snack area and the frozen foods were even more interesting. It's obvious in those two sections that there were many more Korean brands. I should've tried some, but it's hard for me to resist snacks and there was a good chance that would finish the entire bag in one go. Better to skip it entirely. The parking lot for the supermarket is spacious. I had no trouble finding a spot even though I arrived in the late afternoon when everybody has gotten off work. I live about two hours away. And I am very jealous because there is no Hankook near me.
