I know nothing about pop funk collecting, but this place is cute!!!! My niece, nephew, and I were at the plaza for cha2O and they saw from outside a window plaster of geeky stuff which appeals to them. They went there just to check it out and came running out from the 2nd store I need to check this place out!!! Staff is pretty awesome, it was 7:30 pm and they close at 7 pm but still let us in. Like I don't know anything about collecting, but the wall of cuteness has me drawn to want to collect lol. I couldn't bare to start collecting, but I did let the kids pick out one each, and also bought one to bring home to my other half cause he is such a huge geek for this kind of stuff. I spend about 33 dollars for three, not bad. Also, if you check in, free buttons or a comic book. We went with batman buttons. This place is dope and cute and like makes me want to collect. I know next time I'm here, I am going to end up buying the whole entire disney collection, the only reason it stops me is because how would I transport it one when living out of state. I've first heard of @madpoppin through Instagram and I had quite an interest what they have to offer. During my weekend stay in SoCal with my girlfriend, we found out they just opened the store! I have been buying funkos for awhile, and I don't think I've ever been to a better place to buy them then this store. The only place I've been that's had a bigger selection is maybe the frank n sons show if you combine all the vendors together, but this place definitely has the best quality selection I've seen. I got both a common funko and a rarer funko on my first visit, and now that I've found their ig I'll be following along and surely be visiting again. Wow!! I never see so many pops in one room!! I walked in to check it out after my boss mentioned the new suite in our plaza has a wall of pops. No not just a wall! Its walls and a center aisle! I went to just browse and found one I been looking for. This is going to be a problem for my wallet. I was so tempted to purchase 10 pops but had to control myself. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable which makes it easy to shop whether you are a casual shopper looking for a gift or a hard core collector. This place is great. My girlfriend and I live a couple miles away and it's the spot to go to to get new releases and the occasional exclusive pop. The service is great, the selection is solid! My only criticism is some of the inflated prices on some of their pops are right at ppg value which makes sense but as a collector I enjoy scoring deals and so sometimes it's not worth buying. But they allow you to sell and buy and consign which is a nice thing to have as an option near by. Overall a great store. 5 stars read more
