I was looking to trade a PSA 10 Charizard X from Inferno X toward a sealed case of product. I had recently SOLD the same card in a PSA 10 copy as well to another card shop in the San Gabriel Valley for 80% of market value, so I had a good benchmark. Do We Collectibles offered only 70% TRADE Value. I understand every shop has different margins, but I found the offer to be well below what other local shops are willing to offer, let alone trade. I come here often and am usually helped by Duy. Other staff is horrible here. They overbook for a card game tournament. Have only 1 person working and deny anyone trying to buy cards for any other tcg. Told by the worker, "Not right now. Come back in 30 minutes." Then the worker proceeds to make an announcement that they are closed for anything related to the store other than the tournament they are hosting. Never seen a TCG store not want business. **Edit to address the owner** Thank you for responding. I understand that tournaments can take up the store's limited space, and I don't have an issue with the store choosing to close regular shopping during an event. My issue is how the situation was handled and communicated. Your Instagram lists the store as open until 7 PM, and when I arrived there was no sign indicating that the store was closed to regular customers or that only tournament participants were being served. I was able to walk into the store and browse without anyone telling me otherwise. If the store was closed for regular business, I had no way of knowing that. It wasn't until I asked the employee about some cards that I was told, "Not right now. Come back in 30 minutes." He gave me a side eye, didn't apologize, didn't explain. Just said not right now. Anyone with any customer service experience would have apologized and explained they could help me aftet they were done. Most stores will do this, he just basically shoo'ed me awat. He then announced that the store was closed for anything unrelated to the tournament. That could have been communicated to me when I walked in, especially since I had already been browsing the store. I also don't think asking customers to "respect our posted hours and event schedule" really addresses what happened. I was following the hours your business had posted. A scheduled tournament doesn't necessarily mean a card shop is closed for retail purchases unless that is specifically communicated to customers. Most importantly, the employee did not need to be rude about it. From what I observed, he was sitting and talking with tournament participants when I was browsing. Even if he was responsible for running the tournament and was busy, it would have taken a few seconds to politely tell me that regular sales were temporarily closed and when they would resume. I've come here multiple times and have normally had good experiences when you have helped me, which is why I specifically mentioned that in my original review. My criticism wasn't about the store hosting tournaments. It was about a lack of communication and how I was treated as a customer. read more

High points of this place is that they do have a good range of selections of cards from all eras. Also they do provide top loaders your cards after purchase. Prices are non-negotiable. Picked up 7 vintage cards. I was willing to pick up more but person behind the counter said no with no reasoning. Although I heard him make a deal with the customers previous from me. Maybe I had earwax in my ear? Service was quite cold and transactional. Friendly enough to tolerate you but not quite welcoming. Maybe he was having a bad day or idk. Overall, it's a nice shop. Small and new cardshop located within the Bubble Screen Mobile Repair Center. The staff and service is great in this little shop. They have more singles readily available in the selection than I expected for the size of the shop. My main recommendation for this growing card shop is to improve the street view/parking lot visibility/presence. As I approached, it was not obvious where the shop was located & the suite number 112 is missing from above the door. The staff indicated they plan on having someone make a design and will do the suite number at the same time. Please do the large sign over the door as well. Walking in was a bit unwelcoming. Came in during the daytime. Most of the workers kind of just eye you, then go back to what they were doing. Selection of cards were decent. Looking around was kind of awkward since they all were just doing their own things and asking for prices was a wee bit difficult. Most of the card that were priced/labeled were a bit steep compared to market price to say the least. This applies to any product. I only grabbed a couple things since they had a sale going on so everything was more "reasonable". Not sure if one of the workerwas having a rough day or something but there was for sure some attitude given not sure what's going on with that... Overall the vibe wasn't the best compared to other tcg shops around the area. Was giving them an honest try since it was on my way BUT kind of disappointed me a bit. This place quickly became one of my Go-To stops for Pokemon as they have kind, friendly staff that always help out whether it's in-store or asking about cards/product through their Instagram account. They have been constantly improving their stock and their selection has grown into something truly unique! I always feel like I can find a new card whenever I visit. Not to mention there is a huge wall of graded slabs to pick out from! They have always helped me price out cards when I do trade-ins or find something I want to buy and they give a fair value. I had went in earlier today and had $153 worth and was only offered $87 for everything. 1 card itself was worth $84 so to me it felt like disrespect and a big middle finger to the face. Visited the shop yesterday with my daughter, she was hunting for One Piece cards, I was hunting for Pokemon. Very friendly and helpful staff. ALOT of high dollar cards on display, more then I could keep track of along with slabs on the wall. Good juice of lower dollar cards in binders. Small gem of a shop. I wish the shop was closer to where we live because of the customer service and selection. But we'll definitely be making the 20 minute drive to visit often. I wanted to sell some cards and it was $14 all together and I they offered me $9 just for all of it the packs were double and sometimes triple the price.
