My husband and I have been coming here for years and a huge part of the reason why is because of Justin and Raymond. They are the nicest and most down to earth people and make coming to stop by a fun experience! We love them both! :) My hubby is the Gundam addict and we drive all the way from Long Beach to get his fix (rather than the other closer stores hehe). The shop is always well stocked, organized and they recently added 2 new claw machines. Including a verity of gunpla posing stands, They also had supplies you might need to make gunpla from sanding, nippers, markers, paint. The staff seemed chill, and knowledgeable. And they didn't seem to mind all my noobie questions. It was worth the time to go checkout the store. They had such a biggest selection of gunpla I've in person seen so far. This store is really cool and packed with lots of Gundam model kits and other anime memorabilia. There aren't many hobby stores that specifically sell Gunpla so the fact that it's in a populous city within Orange County makes the visit all worthwhile. I came here this weekend in hopes of picking up a certain model kit but it wasn't in stock. However, I wasn't disappointed and ended up getting an alternative option instead. The prices are fair and there are a few tables stacked with Gunpla that are on sale as well. The staff there were also helpful and kind enough to give me 10% off my entire purchase. If I'm ever in the area again, I may make a pit stop. read more

Wife found out this shop nearby her work and we hit it up today and we're not disappointed. It's literally wall to wall stocked with gundam models as well as some other anime oriented collectibles. Front half of the store sells hobby kits and supplies while the back side is phone related work. Selection of kits aren't up to date and on the pricy side. Selection of kits was also relatively limited with really only the RG gundam kit selections being up to date. I noticed pretty much all their kits and supplies were even more expensive than buying online. Take for example the cup noodle kit. Robot4less is selling for approx. $32 while other brick and mortar stores around the area are selling for $26. Even buying online at $24 before shipping would be cheaper. read more

I just visited this place with my bf to pick up the kids' toys that he ordered. We used to go there in the past but I don't think we would go there anymore. I don't know this employee's name, but the Asian guy with blond hair tied up had awful attitude towards us. We just went inside and ask them if we can pick up out stuff ordered online, and the other guy asked the name of the order. My bf was looking for the name on his phone since it was possible to use his American name. It took only about a few seconds but this blond hair guy annoyingly asked " what is your name??" at that moment I realized how bad this guy could act. Then he went to pick up the stuff but rolling his eyes and showing surprisingly annoying attitude. What the heck did we do wrong Asking them to check of they have the stock was that annoying then don't come out for work there. Oh wow! I opened up the bag and found out that this guy gave us the damaged box Gundam. Which is not acceptable. Not erasing this comment unless I get proper response. read more

Initially, my younger brother showed me this gem spot for all things Gundam. They have a wide selection of different models and grade levels, being standard to complexed builds. It was my cousin's bday recently and I remembered about this shop. When I looked and found it, they were closing soon. Andy was kind enough to keep the store open as I ensured him I was looking to buy something. Once I arrived, he kept the lights on a bit longer, encouraged me to look around, and small talked leading me to a bigger and more complexed build than initially discussed. Discovered GunPla around December of 2019 and found out that this was the closest shop. Their stocks are pretty up to date and luckily I was there during their 30% off promotions. Bought 4 kits from them thanks to the staff being so helpful and helping out a beginner like me. They didn't try to up-sale me when I wanted to go straight for the PG unicorn. Instead they told me to start off with the 30 minute mission kits. Eventually went back for some painting advices which they accommodated and when they didn't have the supplies, they Happily showed me places where I could order the paints that I wanted. I needed a new hobby. I was jealous of all my friends and their dank robots. Imagine my delight when I discovered a store in my town called Robots4Less. The people that work here are both cool and welcoming. Daniel and Justin are very helpful and will take the time to answer your questions & explain all of the different products and their uses for any beginner stepping into the world of building Gunpla. Thx for the tips. Y'all saved a couple of my builds from the trash can. The shop itself is well kept with all of the models stacked nicely and things seem easy to find. They offer monthly raffles for sold out kits and even more rare and expensive items. I like what they're doing for the community. I've been to other bigger hobby shops that are full of dusty battleships and board games, and it's as quiet as a library in there. Boring. I don't care about that stuff man. I WANT ROBOTS. Got my gf her MG Strike Freedom through online and pick up over the weekend there. Package is fine so far, no broken parts or runners. We decided to stay and browse some stuff since we needed supplies. This store is pretty awesome so far! There are variety of selection for Gunpla and supplies. No complaint on customer service. There's a display shelf at the front of the store right after you walk in. The Gunplas on display look fantastic and well built. The only downside to that is that the shelf is collecting dust so it seems like a waste. The store capacity for customers is 5 so I can respect that. Due to the pandemic, this store is also low on stock so you might not be able to find what you're looking for. So far, there has been only one guy that works there besides the owner since we came twice. He looks pretty chill and in general a decent guy. He seemed tired so we didn't wanna ask too my questions. Tldr: Good store, low stock because Covid, 5 people per visit, chill dude at the front, nice display shelf but needs to be dusted off a bit. read more

Great customer service, they're always very helpful and polite. I love the selection of kits, and so far I'm 2 for 2 on finding kits I wanted in stock. The pricing is fair, as both kits were maybe a dollar or two over what they list for on Amazon, which is a small price to pay to support a local brick and mortar hobby store. I only wish they had a little more in terms of supplies and tools, but that doesn't effect my rating because they do have a decent selection and some cool items I haven't seen at other in person retailers. read more

I just started building Gundams again and saw this place on Yelp. This place has an amazing selection of model kits! They've got all kinds of Bandai model kits from no grade to high grade, real grade master grade and perfect grade. They also have a lot of supplies you'll need in building your Gunpla kits like paint l, tools and even model kit accessories. I like that they have so much accessories that you'll have a hard time picking one lol They do lack some of the tools you might need (if you're into painting, paneling etc) like japanese branded topcoats (tamiya, mr hobby etc), panel wash and markers (specifically black). I came in looking for some of the stuff I wanted/needed for building but they didn't have it. Also they didn't have proces on accessories (you had to ask each time you wanted to know the price) - this one is kinda on me. I don't usually ask and be a nuance to the shop employee. Overall, this is the kind place I'd go back to again and again to get kits and supplies instead of ordering online. read more

Also, for a retail store selling non-limited Gundam kits for the most part, they are pricier than most other stores. They're currently selling 2 Mg Tallgeese Fleugels for $220 a piece. I walked into this hobby shop hoping to find a specific Gunpla. Was able to find it (Gundam MG Exia Ignition Mode). The thing that I noticed was that this kit was priced higher than what I've seen in their website and other places. In-store - $97.99, website - $67.99. I asked the girl at the register about the price and she mentioned that everything in the store is 30% off. I don't remember seeing any signs mentioning discounts and I don't think that this particular MG was ever priced at almost $100. So if I were you, check prices on their website before shopping at this location. Also, I wouldn't bother with the free secret gift as it really isn't worth it. They tell you to choose a vending machine of toys, then take 4 quarters out of that machine so you can place them back in the machine to get your free gift. All-in-all, it is a great store. It was my first time walking into a hobby shop with all imported stuff. Again, I would check prices online before buying just to be sure that they don't charge you too much. read more

Bad customer service. Floor stacked high about 6 ft with various model kits NOT for sale(restock day or stuff that didn't sell from anime expo..?). They told me to mind my 5 year old probably assuming he would knock the stacks over. Makes me wonder why open up the business if it's not safe to be walking around unsecured stuff. I would think they would mind their merch not falling over everywhere. Anyways, asked if they have converge or Gundam Fix Figuration (they do not) although their website says otherwise. Do not be afraid to ask questions they will help you out and NOT make you feel dumb for asking. They explained a few things to me, gave me some recommendations, and a small demo of how to properly cut pieces from the runners.
