For the 30th anniversary of Pokemon this year, my girlfriend and I decided to complete the first edition Base/Jungle/Fossil set. There was a girl at the booth (might've been his daughter) who helped us out and made us write down all the cards we needed. After we wrote down all the cards we needed (about 60 cards, holo and non-holo), we left while they began looking for them. We gave them our phone number as well. After about 2 minutes, we were called and told to speak to the manager (Kevin) directly. Because the value for these cards were so high, he wanted to make sure we really in fact wanted the cards and knew how much they were going to cost before looking for them. He said that unless we wanted to buy all the cards, they weren't going to take them out because he didn't want to have to "pay his employees only for us to walk away" LOL what? You want us to agree to buy all the cards even before you take them out? Without even checking the condition? What on earth are you smoking? Also, did I forget to mention he charges a TEN PERCENT fee for using Venmo/Zelle/Card?? That's laughable man. He then proceeds to tell me there's a near mint Charmander 1st edition Shadowless for 2k on TCG Player. "Are you prepared to spend that much?" he asks, in the most condescending tone. Stop judging your customers man. My gf and I are Software Engineers who make a decent amount of $$ from working in FAANG. I know how much these cards cost, and I'm prepared to spend that much. You don't need to speak to people like that. You lost thousands of dollars you could have made just from disrespecting us. This shop might have the cards you're looking for, but they're so stingy and rude that buying any overpriced cards from them isn't even worth it. Even if he sold me the cards I needed for half the price, I legitimately wouldn't even buy them because my mind has created such a negative association with him and the cards already, that having them in my binder would just make me sick. It seems like other reviews are saying the same thing about Kevin and the shops pricing too. Don't bother coming here. You literally just lost out on thousands of dollars because you're an a**hole

Their price points are comparable to what you might find on ebay, so minus the shipping and the wait of buying online, this place is superior. I don't want to get anyone who works at the store in trouble for doing their job, but the more approachable guys are the taller ones or whoever is working at register 3. The shorter dudes come with shorter attitudes. Lastly, they do a TON of game nights, do a lot of promotions, and have a lot of space!

Nothing like Game Stop actually lol My husband is familiar with Warhammar. This is a totally new concept to me though! Warhammar is a hobby that involves creating models to build your army. At least, that is my takeaway from talking to the employee. He was explaining to us how it works. So, you buy the miniature pieces and then you can pain them however you want. Then you add the miniatures together to create your army. Your friends do the same process, and then you "battle" their army. It is pretty cool. I can see how this could get very expensive though lol My husband has an addictive personality, so he is not allowed to get into this hobby LOL Would be too expensive. But I'd have to admit I've never seen such poor service in my life. When it comes to being around other hobbyists. I waiting in line to be helped while the girl behind the register finished helping her current customer. She seemed very polite & helpful. But that became very obvious that it was because she was flirtatious with the clients. When I proceeded to then ask a question if they had TCG Cards (Pokemon or One Piece). She did answer that they had sold out, but then proceeded to just act like I didn't exist. Not sure, why I would need to have to be flirty just to buy an item they have behind the register. I genuinely just wanted to look at the One Piece Deck set that was behind the worker with the Comb Over. Who also proceeded to act like I didn't exist. Not my fault they're physically attractive to be my type to flirt my way into a sale. Definitely wack employees today. Anyways, definitely check out the BULGOGI KBBQ! The server barely spoke English & their service was WAY MORE EXCEPTIONAL! Great Food!
