Can't say enough good things about there guys - when it comes with getting parts for my Jeep Renegade. These guys also run a website called Renegade Ready. I've bought off both sites. Fast shipping, excellent parts. It's all helped make my little baby Jeep a little more grown up. It reminds me of my old Suzuki Sidekick years ago. Short wheelbase, and with a lift, bigger tires, skid plates - it does pretty offroad. Will never be a Wrangler Rubicon, but it also didn't cost me 50K. Thanks for specializing in parts for our Toaster Jeeps!

    Madness Sunshade Fitment Issue

On December 29, 2022, I ordered a Sun Shade/ Reflector - Ultimate Reflector from Madness Autoworks which I received on or about January 8, 2023. The bulk size and fitment were not satisfactory, so I immediately initiated a request for return. Mr. Dominguez, Operations Manager responded immediately requesting a pic of the fitment issue, which I sent, and said he would contact the manufacturer. This was the last time I heard from him. I followed with an email on January 17-still no response. It's apparent that many folks have experienced quality products and service from Madness Autoworks, but so far I am not among them.

It was easy to make the appointment to have the Jeep towed in and they got back to me by the end of the day with the diagnostic. My brake line had blown out and they were going to replace it. The next day they called to tell me there were no brake lines available for my Jeep anywhere with MOPAR, or any other manufacturer. People in my situation are all waiting months for these things on back order. Most shops would have probably told me to come tow this Jeep out of their way until a brake line was available. Not Juke! They thought outside the box and let me know a hydraulic shop they work with could build the part for me, and it would only be $80 more! Perfect! Even though they had to run around town with these brake lines, and rely on another shop to hunt down parts and fabricate custom brake lines for me, they had my Jeep back to me after just 6 business days! The other great thing is Miguel kept me updated the whole time and I never had to worry about if my vehicle was being taken care of. The people at Juke actually care about their customers and I recommend them to everyone I know.

BEST part was I had a huge dent in the front fender that I figured I'd pay to fix later this year yet upon pick up the dent was gone!? Sarah, Forrest, the gentlemen with fun colored hair... everyone is helpful and the biz is so well structured and efficient. No one likes spending on a broken down car but somehow I always walk out of here feeling like my car should break down again just so I can come back lol

It will need new front brakes in a few months and the rear pinion seal is leaking at the drive shaft. I could not be more satisfied, or complementary. They're professional and fast, having my truck done in just a few hours. I'm pleased we have this shop so close to home. A special thanks for Jenny, who helped process the order and keep me informed when work was completed.

That business is long gone. They are now owned by someone listed as an investor who owns other automotive shops, sadly not a "mom & pop" place anymore. They also use the name V Bay. (Photo below) While the current owner acquired the business very shortly after my son had "work" done there and I use the term work very loosely due to the fact that things were done wrong, pieces were broken and paint on a custom painted truck was damaged. The current owner chose to acquire the name, the building and even the employees but NOT the warranties!!! We had $3500 worth of transmission work done on our vehicle which again, came back with more problems than it went in with. My son immediately spoke with the owner which at that point was the original owners son, however, all of the other current employees were still there and was given a price of $5500 to fix the truck because now other things needed to be fixed, AFTER they "fixed" it!!! So of course we opted out. Fast forward to recently when a mailing came out advertising Vineyard Bay and I decided to put up a FB post on a couple of our local pages just to inform neighbors of our experience with the shop because I knew that they had been a trusted name in our community for a long time and obviously they were not the same company anymore . I had a lot of people reach out to me both on the post and privately about issues that they have also had with Vineyard Bay. Representatives from Vineyard reached out to us after finding out about the FB post and my son and I went in and spoke with them. They offered to fix the vehicle for free, tow it to the shop if need be, make sure a "master mechanic" is the one who would work on it and the service manager would oversee the entire process. *** 1. Does it take something of this level to get a higher skilled mechanic to work on your vehicle? If so why did this not happen the 1st time? *** 2. Shouldn't the service manager oversee all work? How much trust would anyone have in a shop after an experience like ours? We explained that the truck was in the process of being repaired and that we had no desire to bring it back to their shop for any type of service. We were asked "what would it take for you to take down or change the FB post?" Our answer was simple, a refund!! We weren't asking to be compensated for additional labor hours that had now accrued, new parts that had to be purchased, or for other parts that had been damaged. We just asked simply for a refund of the $3500 paid to a company that yes, was in the middle of a transition of ownership but assumed a well known and trusted local name, a location and employees but not customer warranties. When we met with them on 1/16/26 they said they needed to speak with the previous owner and see if they could recoup the money from him to refund my son. They got back to us yesterday and their answer was "no." They did however offer my son an oil change, not some of his money back, not to cover new parts....... just an oil change!! Now I will say that the two gentlemen we have dealt with, Travis and Chris have been very polite, professional and respectful throughout the past week and we appreciate that very much. Unfortunately they have lost our business and the business of many of our family & friends. They were interested in my original post coming down or being changed so I figured I at least owed them an update on the original post, only fair right? They did ask. This is our own personal, honest experience and review of Vineyard Bay automotive/ V Bay Automotive ~ feel free to draw your own conclusions. ***one of the mechanics that worked on the vehicle wrote: "customer is a pain in the ass ~ little midget " SEE PHOTO in marker on one of the parts before installing it into the truck. It was found when the truck had to be taken apart again to be fixed.*** The company does say that they fired the employee as soon as they saw the photo of this on my original FB post.
