I went to Madness and had them perform work on my 23 Alfa Romeo Quad. I was really nervous as I love my car and I know that Alfa's can be notoriously finicky when you do after market work on them. I had the guys at Madness put a full aftermarket exhaust on the car and install a carbon fiber rear diffuser and other carbon fiber parts on the exterior of the car. Honestly, it was a fantastic front to back experience working with them. They really are great guys that are honest, very professional, and do an outstanding job. Will send you faulty products - say over the phone that customers have been having similar issues, yet then deny that the product is faulty in writing over email, how convenient. Even though saying the product is not faulty, they'll interestingly enough take the item back and send you a new one (which I don't want - you sent me a faulty device to begin with and I no longer have faith in your products) yet refuse you a refund. Now that I've actually done my research on these crooks I see similar reports from other dissatisfied customers around the web. Do yourself a favor and go with literally anyone else, these guys sole mission is to screw people over and then stiff them with the bill. read more

Way back when this place was called Smart Madness because they customized Smart Cars (still do but they also take care of almost any car). When I still lived in Pittsburgh I would order accessories and things for my Smart. Now that I'm in Austin, it's about a 40-minute drive to Hill Country to get service. The drive is so worth it. From them I've ordered a new bonnet and back skirt for my car (both authentic Smart pieces) and have had them do the install. The price for parts and service is extremely reasonable. The staff really know how to take care of clients and go above and beyond to make sure things are done right. They've got a shop in California as well and have had to collaborate with that team to make sure my installs were done correctly. It's just great to know I can get what I need for my car without being taken advantage of. I'm a little dingy and worrisome when it comes to this sort of thing and these folks go out of their way for me. This is what business should look like. I've gotten the Lusso exhaust and I just got the Powergate 4 for my Alfa Romeo stelvio. The exhaust sounds great, and so far the Powergate is incredible. Gotta thank Chad, for the great work, he had my tune back to me within a couple hours. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process. He did a great job on this tune, it makes it feel like a completely different car, I'm surprised how much power is in the higher rpm's. And I gotta say the pops and bangs are perfect with the exhaust, it's not overly obnoxious. Hopefully they'll come out with a gearbox tune next. read more

In August 8th I tried to order a Truck Cap but found out a few days later it was only a Partial item product meaning it was one of three boxes required for a Full Topper so I initiated a return and moved on . What an outstanding experience!! Can't recommend them enough. I needed to install a tow hitch for a bike rack and somebody at a national chain recommended Madness Autoworks. I made an appointment over the phone with Eric and got a reasonable quote for the installation. When I showed up for the appointment Eric and the other gentleman (whose name I didn't catch) were very professional, but friendly and the other gentleman even took the time to talk about their 1930s Ford model A on display. To cut a long story short, after they finished the installation Eric comes out and tells me that the initial quote was wrong because it took them less time than expected and charged me half of what they had quoted over the phone. I ordered a pair of H11 and high beam LEDs for my 2017 124. Upon arrival, I didn't really look at the box right away. I commute for work a lot, and don't have a lot of time to work on my car because of this. When I had time to install the lights, I realized that the box for my H11's was opened and a bulb was missing. Madness was understandably closed because of the weekend, so I sent an email to them. I received a call today (Monday morning) from Jeremy. He asked me a few questions about the packaging, and immediately said he would rectify the situation. I received an additional call no more than 3 minutes later explaining that they were sending me a replacement with no cost to me. On December 29, 2022, I ordered a Sun Shade/ Reflector - Ultimate Reflector from Madness Autoworks which I received on or about January 8, 2023. The bulk size and fitment were not satisfactory, so I immediately initiated a request for return. Mr. Dominguez, Operations Manager responded immediately requesting a pic of the fitment issue, which I sent, and said he would contact the manufacturer. This was the last time I heard from him. These guys are awesome! Not only do they have the best selection of after market parts for both my 124 Abarth Spider and my Giulia but the quality and customer service is the best! I spoke with Eric M about wanting to do a few Modifications to our Giulia. It's my wife's daily so he suggested the new Bluetooth GoPedal. It has some features nobody else in this business has on their products. I ordered that and a K&N drop in intake filter, which btw they are the only one who carries a drop in for the 2.0T Giulia. I got a great deal on those two products. Then we spoke about my tuned 124 Spider Abarth Auto. He told me I should try the standard GoPedal which has proven to be a great mod to add to the Auto 124 Spider. I ordered that as well. I had the Order completed in minutes and promptly received an email confirmation and an ETA. You can't beat that kind of customer service. Knowledgeable and efficient is what you want out of a Vendor. I've been doing business with these guys for 5 years. They helped me build one of the most recognizable 500 Abarth's in the country. When I decided to move on to a my two current vehicles they were right there with the advise experience with throughly tested, proven reliable products for my needs. I have recommended this shop to many of my friends as well as other members of our car club and they always take care of them. If an issue arises they take care of it! I've even had them on the phone late in the day on the weekend helping a friend of mine and me load a flash tune on her 500 Abarth. We didn't have any experience with their hand held, we were kind of newbie confused with the menu. Eric was right there for us helping us get it done. The flash tune for the 500 Abarth is a fantastic product. I've evaluated several flash tunes and all of them put out about the same hp increases. The big difference I noticed is it's smooth throughout the rpm range of the car. It pulls better in 4th and 5th than any tuned car I've ever driven. If you want a safe, solid tune with great performance I would highly recommend their flash tune! Again a big thanks to Eric M for his continued excellent customer service. I'm waiting and ready for my parts to show up next week. I will be writing a review with my opinion of them here on Yelp as well as their website. i ordered the carbon fiber and red candy interior door panels for alfa romeo 4c ($2500) the passenger side was warped from top to bottom,push the top in and the bottom would pop out,push the bottom in the top would pop out. No way they would give me a refund. they send me replacements,but had to wait months and months for the first pair,then more months to receive the replacements,by that time i was so mad i didn't even open the box, they sat in my closet for a year or so, then sold them for less than half price,because nobody wanted them. i do have to say that the drivers side did fit but VERY poorly. I have dealt with Madness Autoworks for several years now. They are very nice people to work with and the customer service is very good. Had to return a couple of items because it was just a fitment issue or decided I didn't want the item. Shipped back items and received a full refund within days. Only negative thing on this review would be sometimes the items are not shipped just really quick but most are. Most of the time parts wanted or needed are usually in stock.
