My daughter and her friend went last week, excited to shop for summer clothes and were ready to make several purchases. Unfortunately, they left without buying anything--not because they didn't find anything but because of the incredibly rude and dismissive treatment they received from your sales associate. The employee on duty seemed far more interested in scrolling through her phone than acknowledging customers. When the girls asked a couple of simple questions, they were met with an attitude that made it clear they were bothering her. They weren't the only ones who felt this way--other shoppers in the store also left after receiving rude treatment. This kind of customer service is so unacceptable (in my book). I stopped shopping at Madison years ago for the exact same reason and, sadly, it appears nothing has changed. Customer experience matters. When your staff acts like helping customers is an inconvenience, it's no wonder people walk out empty-handed. read more

Do not shop here! Worst customer service, and downright thieves. Wouldn't honor a gift card I was given and told me there's nothing they could do because it's old and they have no record of the value (even though it had the amount written on it, was a birthday present). We even called the gift card company number on the back and told them they are liable for the amount. She tried calling the owner who wouldn't honor it and wouldn't speak to me. Sales lady then told me she's "taken enough of her time already" and told me to leave. She went on to say "I don't know where you usually shop honey" so condescending and rude. All because I wanted to use a birthday gift card. I've never been treated that way, I left in tears. Without the item I spent time picking out. And with a gift card the store won't honor. Do not purchase perfume from here because they are fake. purchased a riddle perfume which ended up being fraudulent or old. no scent to it. they refused to do a return or refund. Customer service was not helpful at all. whoever they are buying their products from must be selling fake. read more

They newly relocated Madison Brentwood is now on Barrington. Highly visible, great service, same edgey decor. Pricey, but it's a high end boutique - great shoes, scarves, accessories, and scarce clothing selection, yet very nice pieces.. Sale in progress, but popular shoes sizes all sold out. read more

I RARELY post negative reviews, but this place is awful. I have low expectations of customer service, as one of my favorite places to shop is Bloomingdales and they suck, but this is even worse. I was really excited to see that there is a cute store around the corner from my new apartment. While I really enjoyed the clothing and would have bought several things, I was so turned off by the service I left. When I entered the store I got a small smile from one of the three employees. The other two never bothered to look up or ask if I needed help, even when I was right next to them. No one was giving the other two customers the time of day either. A simple hello and question if I needed any help would have meant that I would return. Sad to say I will be shopping elsewhere. read more

I was looking for a pair of Valentino Rockstuds in patent nude (poudre) and they were sold out everywhere in my size! Only pre-orders were available. But I don't like to wait)) I googled what stores other than the notorious Nordies and Sakses sell Valentino shoes and ran into this one... And they had the last pair. And it was in my size) I literally ran to the car to drive there to pick the shoes up before the store closed! Brought them home, started trying them on and walking back and forth on the carpet, and the next thing I know one of the straps comes out of its nest =( Took the shoes back to the store the next day and they offered me two options: getting those fixed for free or exchanging them for an entirely new pair, which I would have to wait 2 days for. I figured since I'd have to wait anyway, I'd rather have a new pair. The new pair was delivered promptly to the store two days later. I got a courtesy phone call notifying me the shoes were waiting for me. So in general I am very pleased with the experience - except that I had to drive 3 times for one pair of shoes all the way from the Valley)) But, like I said: I don't like waiting. At all. I'd rather drive 100 miles and get it today than wait for it to be delivered to my doorstep tomorrow)) figuratively speaking, of course)) Not sure what they would have done, if I had worn the shoes outside instead of on a carpeted surface at home. Hopefully, I'll never have to find out =) PS I parked across the street from the gas station on Barrington, passed Gorham. But it's metered. If you don't mind walking a little, there is free street parking on Bringham ave - just walk down Darlington, make a right, and the store is right there. read more

Came here today while I was waiting for appointment to get a haircut on the 2nd floor. I had 30 mins to kills so I figured it wouldn't hurt to peak inside. There were about 4 other people shopping. No one greeted me AT ALL, I made the rounds and circled around a few times till something caught my eye. An Alexander wang bag on the top shelf was calling my name. The two girls working seemed so caught up in some conversation about an item that was misplace and just recently found. I managed to get the bag down from the top shelf and even when I struggled to put the bag back up no one helped. However, I did notice all the other women being helped. Maybe they were regulars but it was very clear they thought of me as some kind of waste of time. I saw a shoe in the shoe section at a great price and in my size so I decided to try it on. I got up a few times in the mirror to asses whether or not I liked them. And finally from a far, behind the counter a sales a associate asks "are you still doing okay?" I said yes just because I had already made my decision. I go up to the counter to ask if they have a newer pair in the same size since this was the display pair. She was very abrupt and said that's all we have. I asked, if they had it online. So she begins to search and takes calls in between helping me. Again, it seems like the regulars here have a leg up on casual/random shoppers. She said they didn't have the color size I was looking for. I personally didn't want to pay over $500 for a display pair of shoes. I told her I would mull it over. I called the 3rd street location and the woman over the phone was WAY nicer than the girl in Brentwood. Originally, I was planning on stopping by tomorrow to buy them at Madison on 3rd BUT I decided to go on their website when I got home. I'm so glad I did!! I brought my Valentino's in the size I wanted. Not only were they discounted a little more than they were in store but I also didn't have to deal with some sales associate treating me like a second class citizen. So, do yourself a favor and go to the 3rd street location or checkout the website before going into the Brentwood store. read more

Good selection of quality shoes, jeans and fashion, with helpful staff and a pretty decent, inexpenive parking stiuation. And if your on the Westside it's close and no crowds. What more can a girl ask for? read more

There's a reason why this mall is always so dead, it's because of stores like this and employees who treat customers like they don't exist. Last time I checked, that doesn't go along with the customer service guidelines. They will definitely never be seeing me around there. I've sworn off everything in that mall store-wise except for BCBG, and Elaine's. Everything else is a pure disappointment. read more
