While the owners are kind, the quality of cleaning his unreliable: items not ready on time and often damaged or ruined. I've just collected 2 items that were ruined in their care and they still made me pay for the service. I've given them multiple chances but can't do so anymore. Customers beware! read more

I would give this zero stars if it was possible. DO NOT GO HERE. The lady and her husband are not on the same page at all. I brought a dress to be fitted for two days later which I understand is a lot but the man said it would be 25 dollars. I arrived when I said I would and now the wife is claiming it's 50 dollars but she'll let me pay 35 which is still TEN DOLLARS MORE than what I was told. She then gave me a giant attitude about how she called me three times and couldn't leave a message and how dare I not answer when I am a teacher and work all day. The communication is awful and the lady is extremely rude. I went here and left a dress for an important theater performance because the man said it would be no problem and everything would be fine. I would never bring my clothes here I brought a down comforter they gave it to someone else and made me wait 3 weeks and didn't even credit it or give me a discount. They charged me for the whole thing and said "sorry" horrible customer service. I'd never bring my clothes here. They may end up in someone else's closet. read more

I will never bring my clothes here ever again. After drop off, you get a ticket which says the day your clothing will be done. Many times I have gone on that date. Lee, who waits on you, will always say the clothing is not ready. Its always, it will be ready tomorrow after 5:00 PM - already one day later than told. She is always asking if you have cash to pay for your clothing. It is highly overpriced. They also quote you one price and then it always seems to be another at pick. My last straw, was they gave me someone elses clothes. I tried to call them the next day, 9 times, never answered the phone. Then when I got a hold of them. They started harrassing me when I was bringing the clothing back. They are really poor business owners. My best advice - never use them!!!! read more

My review mysteriously disappeared so I am writing it again. This place is relatively high priced but does a HORRIBLE job and the counter lady is extremely rude. They charged me $39 for cleaning a short trench coat. And they failed to follow my instructions on covering the leather buckles on wrists and waist belt (which I explained to them pointing to the cleaning instructions inside my coat), thereby ruining buckles. It came out stained and the edges of the leather buckle partially melted. When I pointed this out to them, the female owner at the counter said she will charge me $25 dollars instead of $39. When I refused to pay for the coat they damaged but paid for other items, she followed me out to the parking lot arguing and yelling at me losing her temper. They also have done an alteration job for my expensive designer dress. On beige fabric, they used black thread and also ripped part of the dress while sewing. I made the mistake of listening to them and letting them have another chance at fixing the rip on the fabric but it came out worse. They ruined over $1000 dress and the lady had no shame or decency to apologize. She yelled at me again to try to get me to pay for the alterations nonetheless. Worst experience ever. VERY POOR!!! Like another review would have given a 0 if we could have. We have been very good customers with a weekly cleaning bill for almost as long as they have been in town. Although there have been minor issues, we have overlooked them. My niece has had issues as well and we again overlooked them.... our mistake! Our last experience has turned us away permanently. Brought in a beautiful formal dress after wearing it only once for a wedding. It has Swarovski crystals on the sleeve and when we went to pick it up, all the crystals were literally hanging by a thread and some were actually broken. We specifically told them to take extra care of the crystals when cleaning the dress.Both Michele and her husband refused to take any responsibility when I told them I would be sending it back to the designer who would replace them and would send her the bill. It was very unfortunate because they have lost a good customer. In addition the dress had stains on it that were not there when we took it in. Again, her husband assumed no responsibility. We will not be returning and definitely not recommending them to anyone. Liberty Cleaners in Summit NJ has an incredible record and we will be going back there. The only reason we left was because of the distance but it is worth the ride to get impeccable care! read more

After taking 3 articles to be hemmed/tapered I brought my receipt in for $85 to which the owner tells me I now owe her $110. She told me that when she initially made the receipt she had not realized that I wanted the sleeves shorten as well (even though the woman pinned me for it). Then after telling her she should have called me and notified me that I would need to pay an additional cost for the sleeves she told me that I should have known. She then would not give me my clothes until i paid her new total of $110. I do not reccomend going here, EVER. read more

Always very friendly and consistently provide good service. I have hopelessly brought stained items in many times and been amazed by the quality of their work in removing them. Shirts and pants have all lasted years with them. Highly recommend! read more

I wrote a review for this place once before, but it has disapperared. Watch what she charges you. I had a very large cleaing bill, and then presented a coupon, and all the sudden she needed an extra $15, because the down coat was priced incorrectly. I have had other issues with her. They are horrible. I would especially watch if you have an account with them. Review your bill very carefully. read more

Brought my wedding dress here to be pressed and she charged me $120. On the day it was ready for pickup she called me twice and pretty much harassed me into coming in to get it. I tell her I can't make it in today and that I would be in the next morning. She then tells me she stayed extra late "just for me" and that I never showed (I told her I was not going to make it?!). She was very weird and pushy like she really needed my $120 for something. I would not recommend. read more

I'd been bringing our cleaning here for several years and was pleased, but on my LAST visit, they ruined an exp silk blouse, and a vest. I showed the items to "her", I made a point to be very pleasant as we WERE regular customers. She told me that's how they were when I brought them in. I was in such disbelief...I literally said to her, "you are telling me that you know how my things looked, and I don't?" (the silk blouse had a sheen and now looked sueded, and the black wooden buttons on a vest lost their color). She said yes. I simply asked for the dry cleaning $$ back for these two items, (not the value of the merchandise, mind you this was on a $200+ bill as I'd brought all of our winter coats, fall sweaters/blouses etc.) and she refused sticking to her story that this is how they were. I said to her, "look just credit me the $15 as I've been a longtime customer here...are you willing to lose me as a customer over this?" Guess what, she wouldn't issue a credit, and I no longer bring my cleaning here...all over $15. read more
