He carries a great variety of high quality options and makes solid suggestions along the way. In some rooms we went with honeycomb blackout shades, we also went with roller shades, and even a motorized skylight shade that runs on solar power. We had one hiccup where I realized the installed shades were the wrong shade and did not match the skylight. I reached out to Marcus and he was able to quickly replace the wrong color and got everything squared away. If we have any other blinds needs, we will definitely call The Blind Guy!

I felt it important that this review be written, because when someone does a "fantastic" job, stands by the product, and responds to calls immediately, then the public should know. The blinds that I ordered were beautiful and in the course of installation, we approached a few snags--which Paul remedied with ease and in a timely fashion. Paul alerted me to rebates that were being offered and did his best to find me the best price for the selections that I made. Even now 2 months since installation, one blind was not working and he quickly ordered me a replacement and will complete the installation when it arrives. In today's internet shopping and the fast paced lives that we all live in, this type of quick easy service is most appreciated. I would recommend Paul and his company to all.

I contacted Don, the owner to ask if he could come by and repair it. He didn't seem enthusiastic to help us. Instead of coming over to look at the issue, he tried to walk me through repairing it over the phone. I sent him several pictures to show him what needed repairing. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to repair it with his guidance and I asked him if he planned to come out and take a look for himself. Instead of trying to accommodate our situation, he simply said, I don't think it can be repaired. I attempted to call him again and again, only to be ignored. Needless to say we never received a call back. That was very disheartening to say the least. We felt at that point, once we gave him the sale, he didn't feel that he owed us anything. I would NOT recommended Distinctive Window Designs.
