So I dealt mainly with the owner Andre who had recently taken the business over from his father. I could tell by his knowledge and how he answered my questions that he's been at it a long time and that made me feel incredibly comfortable. One thing that I want to point out was how incredibly difficult I made this deal on Andre due to the time restrictions I had put on him. I basically had no wiggle room whatsoever in a time when COVID has made shipping completely unpredictable. But unfortunately for him this was the last piece of the puzzle in a long drawn out project that I started and my family just needed it done in order to move on with our lives. The pressure I put on this man was easily enough for most to give up. But instead Andre absolutely bent over backwards to help us out. Even in saying that I think it's an understatement. On the day of install he actually shows up with carpet and helped the installers for hours just to get the project done. I honestly couldn't appreciate his service anymore. His father should be incredibly proud he has left his business in great hands. The carpet,pad and install are all top notch. No one showed up or called. Ray and Nathan showed up the following day and apologized for not calling . Ray then climbed on to the roof and did a thorough examination with photos. They submitted an excellent proposal. The price was reasonable. I requested one change and it was immediately added to the estimate and emailed to me. Several more issues developed before I signed the contract. I called Nathan. He told me he was driving and he would get back to me. He never did. I called Ray and suggested that the entire roof may need replacing. He promised to come out the following day. He never showed and never called. This company may do excellent work but the poor scheduling and lack of communication is a major problem for me. I won't be hiring them.

We were thrilled to be able to book Storm-Tite Home Improvement to do the job. It was the best investment we ever made in our home, which we plan to stay in. The pandemic had set us back from our original plans to start the job in Spring of 2020. Lumber kept rising and building costs soared. Frustrated with waiting any longer and fearful that wood rot and bees would continue to plague us aging seniors (along with the Covid pandemic) we went in search of a quality reputable contractor. As seniors, we were fearful of being taken advantage of by con artists who prey on the elderly. We settled on Ed Ladouceur's Storm-Tite company, after many glowing word of mouth reviews, and after visiting a job site in progress nearby. From first contact it was a home run. Ed responds quickly to your calls. He will come to your home and assess your needs and work up an estimate in a timely manner. He's professional, friendly and not a high pressure salesman. He has a whole team of pros to attend to all the needs of your remodeling job. Storm-Tite also has a store front in Warwick where you can peruse different product lines in person, safely. He's got top-notch carpenters, siding installers, electricians, window installers, roofers---everything you need. Storm-Tite uses only the best products. We had a variety of siding styles and brands to choose from. Ed helped us save money and still achieve the curb appeal we desired by combining products when the cost of using the premium product for the entire job climbed out of reach. He shows up everyday on the job site to check in with the crew. I liked that we discussed underlying problems (rot) that were found and corrected them before the house wrap went on. You will not get a one man band. You are hiring an entire competent and friendly team to get the job done quickly. They supply port-a-John so workers are not traipsing through your house, and all debris is trucked away daily. The yard was left spotless. Every detail was worked out from what style window to the doorbells, lighting fixtures and hose bibs. The installation was done off season and workers showed up everyday rain or shine. To Charlie, Richard, Tawn, Steve and rest of the gang---thank you for your integrity, skill, and professionalism! We had complete vinyl (Norandek) siding in "Steel Blue" installed (with full Certenteed insulation wrap), matching blue steel awning over our air conditioner, 3 Harvey replacement windows, 2 custom built storm doors, all new rain gutters with leaf guards and downspouts, Invisiguard beaded soffits and all new vinyl-alloy trim in white. Our house is 34x26. The 10x10 shed was sided to match. Storm-Tite is not cheap, but remember: you get what you pay for. Do it right and you only have to do it ONCE! Worth every penny. The entire job was under $36,000. The best! More stars if I could.
