We hired Eagle Exterior January 2025 to final side our house. The salesman assured us of their values, and workmanship, it was downhill after that. During the process we mentioned many times with phone calls, and text the inconsistency of the job their crew was doing. The "project manager" would show up for 5 minutes and leave. In my opinion he has no hands on siding experience at all. We asked for meetings to go over what was going wrong with this job, and we were always stood up, no communication. The crew would work after 5pm in the dark to get the job done. I don't think they knew any of their crew that was subbed out. They came in a van from MA. we were left with a disaster siding job, as other contractors put it totally incompetent. Here are some of the problems we were left with. They did come back to try and fix a few things, but what they fixed was still not fixed such as some siding above the front window that now has a buckle in it. 11 torn screens, a broken boat trailer light, gutters dented and put back on incorrectly. We now have to replace them due to the damage removing them., A back door they put on that does not close, our new deck was chipped, and scratched, also they put screwed blocks into the deck to hold their ladders, AC unit covers incorrectly attached, broken and cracked they need to be replaced, they took it upon themselves to change the architect arch on our garage to a square opening and did not ask, electrical wires screwed onto the roof, caulking to glue together siding on the shed, shed door attached with a big space at the top, finish work on the shed is a disaster. This is a lot, but I can back it up with pictures. The owner came over after the job was done, and all our complaints, and said it looked good. I don't believe he has any experience himself with siding. We went to the town hall to check if they pulled a building permit, and they did not. They told us they did. We are left with a disaster, and expense of paying for another company to fix it. Please do yourself a favor and find another company, they don't know what they're doing. read more

Dave and his crew were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They showed up when they said they would, explained things clearly, and made the whole process easy on us. It's not every day you hire a crew and actually enjoy having them around, but these guys were friendly, respectful, and knew what they were doing. I tried to do work with Eagle Exteriors on 5/26 and I signed a work agreement for them to install a deck around my pool. I provided a down payment of more than half of the total bill and was told I would be getting a CAD drawing of the project and a parts/supply list of what was going to be used for the project. I was also told that they would be coming back to show us samples of the deck railing options and this never happened. They come out to measure the area for the project on 6/5, but they had not followed through with anything they said in the beginning (CAD, parts/supply list, or a copy of the work agreement). They showed up with notes for the wrong decking color with the measurements of the length and width of the deck in the wrong way direction. At this time they did not show up with any parts list or samples. Originally the salesman said they would be "pouring footings" but then told me later they were installing screw/anchor footings instead of pouring concrete and if I wanted concrete, it would be more money for labor. I had to contact them multiple times to see what the status of my project was. The project manager came on 6/5 and said they could start on 6/9. I told the project manager they could not start then because they were supposed to show up with the parts list and railing sample and I was still waiting for a copy of the signed work agreement. After nearly two weeks with radio silence from Eagle, I reached out again. Micheal did call me back the on 6/19 and he was then able to provide a copy of the signed work agreement, an invoice, railing sample pictures/website link and did provide a link to the Timber Tech website as their CAD drawing. The Timber Tech website allows anyone to create a CAD drawing of a deck. This was a disappointment since it was also not drawn to scale. We had agreed to 6-foot-wide stairs and a gate at the top of the stairs per our town's building code but within the drawing the stairs were only 4 feet wide with no gate. On 6/19, Michael advised me they could start on the week of 7/4. At this time, I was going to be out of town and would like to be home when the job starts. He then said they could start the following week on 7/14. Then 7/14 came without any communication from Eagle. I reached out to Michael on 7/14 and he said they have good and bad news. He said the good news is they have all the materials in for the job, but the bad news is that their supplier sent the wrong decking color. He told us since the company sent the wrong decking, they needed to send the wrong decking back and wait for the company to process the credit for the wrong decking before they could order the correct decking. On 07/17, they let us know the decking would not be coming in for another 3-4 weeks. We asked if they would be able to get the job started as soon as they get the decking. He said if they have a "sub-contractor" available. In one of my original conversations with the salesman, they mentioned that they do not hire subcontractors, and all their contractors are employees of Eagle Exteriors. I called Eagle on 08/07/25 during the 3rd week since our last conversation and said they would have a date for the decking to come in and the start date by the end of the day on 08/07/25. Again, no contact. I waited till Monday 08/11 to see if he had any updates and texted him. They did get back to me on Tuesday letting me know he was off on Monday and was going to check with the supplier first thing on Tuesday morning 8/12/25. I did not hear back on Tuesday. On Wednesday 08/13/25, I texted again to see if he had heard from the supplier and if he had any updates. I then got a call from David the Owner of Eagle Exteriors. David said the supplier was having issues getting the product and they could not do the job anymore and would need to refund my deposit. He said that the crew that was originally going to do the work now wanted double the amount in labor for the job and that he had to let them go. He then said that he did not have the money to cover the returned deposit and would need 60-90 days to get back my deposit. I told him that it was unacceptable. He said they usually do it within 30 days but since the amount was so much, he would need more time. I asked him, how is it that they cashed my deposit check on 5/29, three days after I signed the contract, but would now need an additional 60 - 90 days to get my deposit back after they had already cashed my deposit more than already 77 days before. He said that the supplier was not giving them as much credit as before. He also said that he had used the money to pay for other operations in the company and that he didn't have the deposit I had given on 5/26. read more

I had others come out to give me a quote and didn't even get a response back. Was impressed with how quickly the work was done and the workers were polite, and cleanup was effortless. David and his crew did a complete re-roof on my house and they exceeded all of my expectations. The estimation process was thorough and done in a timely manner. He is very easy to talk to and responsive to all of my calls. The estimate was priced very competitively to the other proposals I received and included all of the options and elements that were discussed. I've dealt with a few work crews for other work and can say these guys are excellent! I was home throughout the entire job and checked on progress several times a day and I was always impressed by their workmanship, focus on the job, and overall professionalism.
